Both were just ok, but portions were a good size. We both were very full and each of us had enough leftover for lunch another meal. We did try to oder a drink but they didn't have some of the menu items available. Not a big issue but disappointing just the same.

As I brought it to our table I made sure to let my fellow diner know to use a napkin as the shaker was dirty and sticky. We finally just ordered chicken broth with ramen noodles expecting it to taste like Lipton chicken noodle soup. SURPRISE ~ not like anything I have ever tasted before. The booth where we were seated faced west so there were slats and a shade to cover the window. Reading the menu was next to impossible. This was my first exposure to ramen and, most likely, my last. I got tired of waiting for my printed receipt so we left. I will not return to this restaurant.

Visited on a Saturday night after 7. Was very busy and ended up waiting about half an hour. The…read moreplace was very full and I totally get that. I had a little time to look at the interior and people watch. It was a younger crowd and probably data night for a few. Interior did remind me of trendy hip style you see in some sushi places. When I got seated the waitress was helpful pointed a few things out and showed me the conveyer and the ordering tablet. I was looking forward to trying the rotating meal options off the conveyer belt. I have been to a couple of these style places before. Now I did see they were going to stop serving before the actual close time so I wanted to dig right in and get a few things. I ended up with 3 places which were ok a spicy tuna, tuna nigiri, and one of their custom rolls. Fish tasted ok and rice was not dry. I waited and watch for about 10 minutes for other things of interest to rotate around and there really wasn't much(not much on the conveyer or new things being put out) I ended up going to the tablet to just place orders there, which was a little bit of a bummer. I like the mystery of what is going to come around the conveyer next and trying something random. It was around 8:15 and I wanted to make sure I got food before they closed kitchen. The delivery for the tablet ordered sushi was on a little vehicle that rolled out on top of sushi conveyer, which was cute I could seek kids getting a real kick out of that. I decided to try a ramen which ended up being hand delivered. Soup was not hot it was more just warm which didn't work great with the noodles. They have to sit a little to soften up. I think it would have been better if it was hot. I could have probably just ordered the ramen alone because I did end up with too much to eat. Be careful how you order. If I was to go again, I would definitely try to go earlier to give more time on the conveyer maybe closer to 5. The place is a little far away for me to just do a causal meal so I will probably stick closer to my local favorites. If i was taking 3-4 folks out I might go for the place as a fun dining out place. Parking not a problem. Staff was pretty friendly and they did a good job of cleaning up after people dined. Prices were in line for other rotating type sushi bars I have been around Chicago. Most plates fell between $4-10 depending on what you got.

It could be a cute spot for a date night. And they have a large fish tank that adds a fun touch to the dining area. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the chicken teriyaki was a big miss for me. It was extremely peppery and also a bit on the salty side, and I really didn't enjoy it. The California roll was decent, but the shrimp and vegetable tempura was actually deep-fried really well -- crispy and probably my favorite part of the meal. The miso soup was disappointing because the pieces of tofu were really cold. Overall, the meal was just okay for me. The atmosphere and service were nice, and I enjoyed the tempura, but I wasn't a fan of the teriyaki or miso soup. If I'm in the area again, I'd probably try a different sushi restaurant. ---- After the restaurant's response to my review, I do want to clarify that my 2-star rating is based primarily on the food (Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box). I agree that the service was good and that I enjoyed the atmosphere, but good service and ambiance don't necessarily earn an additional star when the main part of my experience -- the food -- was disappointing. Of course, taste is personal, and I understand that not everyone will feel the same way about a dish. However, that doesn't change my personal experience or how I choose to rate it. I appreciate the manager taking the time to respond.
