I'm a Chef and VERY picky. The Shrimp Tempura is the BEST! The sauces are GOLD! We also LOVE the Honey Chicken. And the Ginger Dressing is Amazing. I will drive an hour to get there. 5 Five Stars!

Gyoza, spicy tuna roll, hibachi chicken, side salad, fried rice, never again

I purchased the to go bento box and overall is was terrible. The spicy tuna rolls weren't fresh it had a gummy texture. The fried rice was scorched and hard, hibachi chicken was flavorless. I only enjoyed the gyoza, side salad, and white sauce. I'll stick to Raleigh and Durham for these types of dinners

Sushi was ok but the plate was dirty and broken. Not appetizing to eat at all.

The waitress does not know what we are ordering. Gave us a wrong food. Hair on my deeping sauce for the tempura, plates was dirty and broken edge . Over all not a good experience.

Five stars. I must say, coming all the way over from Hawaii, to Henderson, NC and finding a Japanese restaurant was, well, shocking and quite a nice surprise. The food here is really great and coming from really good Japanese food in Hawaii, Ichibar really could compete with some of the best out west. How'd I find my way to Henderson from Hawaii you may ask?....Work, of course. Lol! Overall, highly recommended.

    Chicken Udon Soupso good!

When I walked in and noticed not one Asian worker. I should have turned around. Worse than supermarket sushi and everyone looks unhappy.

First time here, I thought food, service and price were great, fresh cooked to order. Don't know why reviews were so low.

It was Easter Sunday. Apr 5, 2026. This was my first visit to TDLLO Ramen & Sushi. There was a…read morecocktail bar and a sushi bar. I opted for a table (not the booth). The decor included dark wooden furniture, hardwood floors, door curtains for kitchen, and a ceiling lamp in the shape of a fish. On each table was a pale bottle with a small spout and a large stopper. This was for the black sauce, and the first time I have seen black sauce provided at tables in anything other than the small transparent bottle with double-spout cap. Next to the kitchen doorway was a black board announcing "What's New". The menu is printed on black-colored pages bound by black leather cover, which matched the black uniforms of the staff. I ordered my usual ramen: tonkotsu. It was served with a renge and a fork, the latter for those uncomfortable with using chopsticks. That didn't apply to me. I put the fork to the side and used the wooden chopsticks. The tonkotsu had three thick pieces of chasu, lots of menma slices, some kikurage strips, and a soft-boiled egg served in two halves. Though a little saltier than I would like, the broth was still delicious and complimented the food well, especially the chasu. It had a mild spiciness that caused slight irritation to my throat, but otherwise was worth consuming the entire bowl. It was about 11:10am when I arrived. Besides myself, there was one other party of two. The cocktail bar had two large TVs, one playing CNN and the other playing a sports program. The volume level was barely a whisper. Most of the time, I didn't hear anything. By 11:45am, two more parties of two showed up. The atmosphere was quiet the entire time, and definitely a great place to relax and enjoy a meal during lunch time. As I was leaving, I took a look at the outdoor dining area. It is housed in a patio next to the building. It has plenty of seating and is almost enclosed but for a cased doorway. I was impressed that TDLLO is accommodating to its customers during rain or shine (unlike Noodles Blvd in Cary). I returned on Jul 3, 2026, this time with a friend. We chose a booth and were served by a young lady Lexi. My friend and I ordered veggie ramen and shoyu ramen respectively. Had I paid attention to the picture in the menu, I would not be surprised when the shoyu ramen was served. It had two thick slices of chasu, a soft-boiled egg cut in two halves, lots of corn kernels, slices of fish cake and menma. Essentially, it was tonkotsu ramen with more ingredients. The pork broth tasted saltier than the tonkotsu's but without the mild spiciness of the latter. The saltiness was also apparent in my friend's veggie ramen. The shoyu ramen I had at S.E.A Ramen & Asian Kitchen (Knoxville, TN) had a different broth. It was shoyu, not pork bone, and the flavor wasn't as strong. In contrast, TDLLO's shoyu ramen had a much richer flavor. The saltiness didn't ruin the dining experience. Like the last visit, there was plenty of seating. The quiet atmosphere was conducive for conversations without having to raise our voices. Customer service was smooth. Lexi made sure we were pleased with everything. As we were leaving, a male staff gave us a polite farewell. My friend was impressed with not only the food but also the restaurant's decor. Once again, TDLLO Ramen & Sushi has my recommendation.

It's always a day trip, however this time I was in town for a training and had the taste for sushi. I was in the area shopping and decided to check it out. The restaurant closes at 9:30 during the week, and it was around 8:00pm when I arrived. I didn't know they had AYCE sushi. They offer it at lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is a little more extensive than lunch. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I opted for the AYCE. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful when it came time to order. You basically let them know what you want and it's cooked to order. The dinner menu has more sushi options to choose from, and they did not disappoint. Majority of the sushi rolls come with 4 pieces, except the volcano roll comes with 6. Ambiance is very laid back and the restaurant has plenty of seating and it's very spacious. Staff were very friendly and willing to help to make my dining experience a great one. Dinner was about $28 but IMO it's definitely worth it bc you have a lot to choose from. Between sides, appetizers, sushi, soup, salad, entrees, desserts, etc. I will definitely be back again!

When you arrive parking can be a bit tricky in this area as you'll need to find parking on the street or in a nearby parking lot. When you arrive the entrance can be a bit hard to find as it's tucked away down a cobblestone road. Look for the "m" logo outside of the door of the restaurant. You'll check in with the host when you arrive, and for this trip we opted to sit at the bar. When you walk into M sushi you'll feel like you've stepped into an underground, relaxed hangout for sushi. To start I ordered the Mizuwari (Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky, elderfower liqueur, and tonic) which was perfectly balanced and a great way to start the meal. Following that the omakase service started with miso soup which was hot and fresh, followed by the different pieces of sushi. There was a variety from blue fin tuna, to sea bream, to Norwegian Sea trout. My favorite was a tie between the seared salmon belly and toro blue fin. We also ordered a bottle of Born Gold Junmai Daliginjo (Rich, smooth, fruit and grain forward) which paired excellently with the meal. This was a fun experience as it was my first time trying Omakase and looking forward to my next trip to M Sushi.

We started off with their sodas made in-house, one being green apple and the other being grapefruit. They were okay. The grapefruit one kind of tasted like apple cider vinegar. We tried them because a soda was $6 and there were no free refills. I find that a strange decision but this could be personal preference. We got a mixture of the small plates and rolls including the nigiri (delightful!), tuna crispy rice (my 2nd favorite), dumplings, bao bun (one cut in half), the rainbow roll, and the unagi roll. While I thought the nigiri and tuna crispy rice were amazing - both tasted fresh - overall, the food was just fine. I think our experience could just be based on pure preference. I found the sushi to be good but not the best I have ever had as some other Yelpers have experienced.

My wife and I booked a reservation for 5:30 PM, and the booking system was a little strange. First, you have to wait for the restaurant to confirm your reservation, so you're basically just submitting a request. Also, there's an "Assignments" selection in the reservation form which has a possible value of 1, 2, or 3. No idea what it means so I left it blank. Then, the next day, we received a curt text telling us that our reservation was confirmed and that they would only hold our table for 5 minutes. I mean, geez, I get it, but how hard is it to say "Thank you for dining with us!" or something to that effect? Not a huge deal, obviously, but kind of funny :) Our server did a pretty good job throughout the meal. The food was prepared quickly and it was very good! My two sushi rolls were very tasty, and my wife's sashimi was definitely fresh. Because we ate there in the late afternoon, there were also some happy hour specials that I appreciated ($13 for any specialty roll, and $6 for certain beers). The beer selection wasn't bad at all, and of course they had sake as well. Overall, we had a really good time at Sushi Suyu and would definitely come back!
