I want to give a special shout out to April the nurse. April went beyond her job while I was having a crisis . By the time I walked out of there I felt like a new woman and I owe that to her, Alexi and Erin are great team!!! Thank you for being amazing girls!!! I highly recommend Restore for feeling better. Physically and mentally. Not many places you can go where everybody cares about you!

For this treatment they put the Normatec sleeves on your legs and they got to work with pressurizing different areas. It helped a lot with recovery the next day. They have this for the hips/lower back as well. They also have a stretch therapist by appointment. In addition they have cryotherapy which I've never tried and IV drips as well as heat treatments. The staff seemed very knowledgeable regarding the IV treatments for the people next to me asking about medical history and current medications. Seems like you would be in good hands if you went that route. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Ohio Cryo was a wonderful place for my first dermaplaning experience. This facial involves a tiny…read moremicroblade taking off the top layer of dead skin on your face. It aims to remove any fine wrinkles, acne scarring and make your skin look smooth. It also takes off peach fuzz hair (but don't come in with a beard - men - that's not going to work!). I didn't know what to expect but the process was relaxing and fulfilling. Seeing my face glow (and completely smooth of any fine hair) made my time there entirely worthwhile. Also really enjoyed my technician who was sweet, chatty and informative about the facial. I would love to continue dermaplaning (it is recommended to go once every 4 weeks) as it really feels like a healthy treatment for your skin. I purchased a Groupon that included the dermaplaning facial as well as a 30-minute compression massage. The massage chair was *definitely* an experience in itself. After my facial I was seated in a big black leather chair and fitted with arm and leg sleeves that compressed in varying degrees over the next 30 minutes. It may not be the best to use both the arm & leg sleeves if you are claustrophobic at all because the compressions are definitely pretty strong and almost make you feel as if you are an actual marshmallow. My body felt sore afterwards (but in a good way). I would highly recommend the overall experience. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff was super friendly and engaging!

This is a review that I did not want to write however, I feel obligated. I was excited to join…read morerestore Wellness Spa as I have a chronic illness and was hopeful that some of the therapy is like red light IV would help move the needle and improve various symptoms. The young man at the front desk has always helpful and kind and I have greatly enjoyed the red light. However, I want to share my experience with IV therapy. I typically go in during the week and have the same nurse who is wonderful and has no issue drawing blood. However, I went in on a weekend and got a new nurse, gray haired and older. I didn't think anything of it. When I sat down in the chair and she tried to find my vein she couldn't, 10 seconds later she says "I'm gonna do unconventional." I had no idea what that meant and I asked her if it would hurt more and she said no. Then she proceeded to find a vein on my inner forearm and insert the needle not only did it hurt like hell, she went through the vein, which caused a hematoma. The IV was uncomfortable for the entire duration. Days later, the bruising started to appear, and I reached out to the manager with the goal of telling her that there are better ways to try and find a vein such as a heat pack or hydrating, which I would've been happy to do as it was the weekend and I had time. That I wanted to take it to her vs writing a negative review. The manager proceeded to begin the conversation aggressively listing the various points on the nurses résumé, which I found very odd, as well as dismissive and defective. When I gently reminded her that I was not calling to get anyone in trouble, but rather calling to give the business a heads up that this is not an ideal experience, especially when you're paying for it and there are better ways to proceed if a nurse is having a hard time finding veins. The manager proceeded to tell me that blood draws aren't pleasant that she has had many and that it's not unusual to give up after the first try and go unconventional, making it about herself. I have chronic Lyme disease and I've had countless blood draws over the years sometimes 25 to 30 vials. I have never had an experience like that. And the response reeked of protective liability controls rather than just accepting the feedback and implementing better conversations with the staff. The conversation ended and she told me she would talk to the nurse. I thought it ended there, but I was wrong. I went in a few weeks later for another IV but because I had a large blood draw the day before, 26 files, (that nurse had no problem finding my veins nor has any nurse I've ever worked with in the past) I changed my mind and asked to do a CoQ10 injection. No problem they said. When I went into the nurse, not the one who went though my vein, and I said thank you for being flexible and she said "no problem, happy to do it....I heard your a difficult stick." So not only was the initial conversation with the manager very painful and defensive now in my file at restore the issue has become that my veins are difficult which couldn't be farther from the truth. I've asked multiple practitioners after that experience if they want me to use a heat pack or hydrate or if my veins are thin. Never been told I had thin veins before or after this experience, nor has any nurse had a difficult time finding them. Left a message for the manager after that asking her to remove that from my file and never heard back. That is the end of the IVs for me. When a business shows me they cannot take accountability for an issue on their end, I have much greater concerns about how they would handle a larger issue, for now. It's red light therapy for me and injections. It's very sad to see this from a business who touts wellness. The last thing people with chronic illness need is to be dismissed or gaslit.
