This is my second time ordering with Ice Delivery man and I am so pleased with them. My sister got married this weekend and I offered to pay for the ice, I ordered 400 lbs of ice but it turned out I actually needed 550 lbs which they were more then gladly able to give us that extra 150 lbs of ice free of charge. That's just so kind of them and I was so thankful they did that for me, being that I was the one that made the mistake by ordering the wrong amount of ice. They truly saved me from my sisters wrath. At the end of the day, we got our ice before the event, but this was a very weird company to work with. We reached out to them multiple times before the wedding to confirm details and they were really weird and uncommunicative. After reading some yelp reviews, we saw some responses from the company that made it seem like they get annoyed by people confirming details with them. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows that the last couple of weeks, confirming details with the vendors is one of the top priorities. They eventually confirmed and they showed up with the ice, but they were late and everyone was starting to panic. I called and sent a payment by Venmo on 9/10/22 for 400lbs of ice for my daughters wedding on 10/9/22. Our communication has been only by text since this company does not have a voice mail set up. (that should have been my first clue that something was not legit!) I texted the day before and the morning of the wedding to confirm the delivery. I was told it would arrive around 2:30-3:30. At 2:30 I received a text that there was a blackout at the warehouse and we would not be receiving our order of ice. With the wedding just hours away this caused us some stress! I was promised a refund which I still have not received. I hesitated to write a bad review but unfortunately it has come to this. read more

We received what we paid for and it all worked out. The only issue I had was with communication after payment had been received. I asked for confirmation and he became unresponsive for a few days. I had a great experience using The Ice Delivery Man. At the beginning of summer my commercial ice maker decided to die during one of the busiest times of the year. On a Friday afternoon my team and I called several ice delivery companies for quotes for daily ice deliveries until our ice machine was repaired/replaced. Several of the companies we called flatout refused to provide service because they couldn't deliver on weekends or weren't available. Finally, we found two companies willing to provide daily service. We decided to go with Ice Delivery Man because he was a little cheaper, available same day, willing to deliver after hours so it wouldn't impact business and he was able to help us determine how much ice our bin would hold. Needless to say, the Ice Delivery Man saved our business lots of time and energy by providing fast and reliable service. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

I used this service for my wedding in April. I ordered 450lbs of ice. The ice was to be delivered at 2:00 as per our agreement. I got to the venue at 2:30 and noticed no ice was there yet and had not heard any update to why they were late. Upon calling them, we got an update they they would be there around 3:30. My wedding was supposed to start at 3:30 so I pushed it back because I didn't want the ice to be delivered while I was walking down the isle since the venue only had one entrance in which I was to be entering from. I also needed time for the beverages to chill and for the bar staff to prep prior to cocktail hour. Finally at 4:00 the ice was delivered but I had to keep all my guest waiting. I also had to grab some ice prior to arrival from the local gas station to start chilling some of the beverages. I'm giving two stars only because the ice was ice and not water when delivered. When asked for a partial refund I was granted 10%. After negotiating I was able to get 25% off the transaction. This company was totally not worth the hassle and provided very little value. Please save yourself some stress and go with another company who is more professional and reliable, especially if it is for a big event like a wedding. read more

I should have read the reviews more carefully. I hired Ice Delivery Man for Oct 7th & Oct 8th for my son's wedding. His communication was poor, as I asked him to call me, but he never did - only random texts after I paid in full. I was told the delivery would be between 1:40 & 3 pm on Friday and another delivery on Saturday. After not hearing, I texted Andy at 2:25 asking for an ETA as the rehearsal dinner was to start in a couple hours and we had no ice. Then I received a text stating "Driver has car trouble, he won't be there at 3." If you read the review from Anthony D on 7/22/2022, his order was also delayed due to "truck broke down"." If this happened a few months ago, wouldn't you make sure it doesn't happen again? I canceled my order since the contract states we would have delivery by 3 pm and I really could not depend on these folks to be there the next day for the wedding too. I have been refunded, but I can't forget the stressful situation we all endured. To Ice Delivery Man- IF you can't handle the job, do not take it! Looks like there is a history of delivery cars/trucks breaking down. Too much riding on ice delivery - I do not recommend this business. read more
