Purchased a brand new "Day & Night" unit from this man 2 years ago for over $5,000. As soon as it was installed there were issues with it. Within the first week the temperature inside the home was never reaching the set temperature so the unit was continuously running and the electric bill was worse off with this than my old unit. He blamed the home, the heat, even the walls...not his unit. He literally said that the temperature was marking 83 degrees on the thermostat because of the temperature in the walls, despite having the AC unit set on 76 degrees. Every year there has been something new, last year the compressor was replaced, this year the blower was replaced. Jeremy Pratt is a Rat! He is great at selling you a unit but is horrible once you have issues he doesn't take ownership and blames everyone! He is bad business. I'd never use him and never recommend him to anyone! Steer clear of this guy! read more

We couldn't be happier with the installation of our new AC UNIT. It was Fairly priced and the service and quality of the installation was the best I have encountered. They cleaned up, they were courteous and finished the job as quoted in less than 4 hours for a complete new system. I highly recommend giving Jeremy a call for a quote. read more

If you have any type of HVAC problems these guys are your answer to prayer. They show up on time they know what they're doing and they get the job done right the first time. Thanks so much for your excellent service. They may not be the least expensive but they're certainly the best. Many thanks to Jeremy and his entire team. read more

Ice Cold Air Heating & Cooling was referred to me by a close family member. We were at a point where we needed to replace our central cooling and heating system at our home. Jeremy's company Ice Cold Air gave us a very competitive quote and a fast response time. The crew showed up at our home on time which was very impressive considering the two hour commute. The work started right away upon their arrival. I observed most of the uninstall and the install without interfering. When I asked a few questions during the install the crew answered them completely and professionally. What really impressed me the most was the pride and detail that Jake and Collin took in their work. Thanks guys! If you have had work done at your home you know what I mean. Most people show up and with the intent of getting done and out as soon as they can. Trust me this is not the experience that I had with Ice Cold Air. From my first conversation with Jeremy and throughout the entire project everyone was professional, communicative and the job was done with quality workmanship by a great crew of guys. I would highly recommend Jeremy and his team from Ice Cold Air. The overall experience was two thumbs up and 5 stars from us. read more

Jeremy Pratt enthusiastically sold us a York unit about 4 years ago. Every summer since, we've had issues and now when we call him he's NEVER available. If I call from a different # he'll answer promptly. Otherwise he lets the call go to voicemail and requests that you text him and once you do text him, he follows up with "he's too busy and to call around and locate an A/C guy that works on York". What good is 'a warranty on parts for 10 years' if we can't even find a contractor that works on that brand? CONFIDENCE TRICKSTER is what comes to mind....oh and don't give me started on the cheap thermostat he sold us. On a positive note, he's very polite and prompt when it comes to selling you a new unit. read more

Ice Cold Air has saved me two times in my life. In both circumstances my AC Unit stopped working in triple digit heat. Both times, they responded promptly, provided excellent service, they were friendly and replaced the part and did not try to sell me an entire unit. The first time is was a simple capacitor and the second time they replaced the fan. If you are looking for prompt reliable service and a trustworthy diag, call these guys. read more

This company provided the BEST service I have EVER experienced! Seriously! Look no further! Being in Arizona and having owned several homes, I have had experience with MANY air conditioning companies. I will never ever use any other company but this wonderful, family-owned business! I first spoke with the father, then worked directly with the son, Jeremy. The AC techs who worked in my home worked for HOURS to fix my very intricate AC system in my old cottage. The communication, the service, the work, and the overall experience was STELLAR. Do yourself a BIG favor and call them. read more

Great and fast service! Knowledgable individuals who understand what no working AC means in an Arizona summer! Ethel were able to get my old unit working again temporarily before installing a new unit 3days later at much better price than other companies and especially better than the company my home warranty chose!! Jeremy and Matt were Awesome!!! read more

Jeremy Pratt, owner of Ice Cold Air, recently serviced our 12 year old AC. He thoroughly cleaned the coils and placed an easy start kit on the unit. Additionally Ice Cold Air replaced another AC unit and furnace 2 years ago. We have been very satisfied with the service provided and find Jeremy to be trustworthy, fair in pricing and an expert in his craft. We highly recommend Ice Cold Air for your AC services when needed. read more

I just had my unit replaced and these guys were not only quick. Estimate on Tuesday - delivery on Friday! But they made sure that the unit I had installed was perfect and running the way I wanted. I felt sorry for the install guy as it was 117 - so I kept giving him water & electrolyte drinks! They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure it's exactly what you want. Couldn't have asked for a better service company. I am sold on them. read more

New to AZ, hit up a group I belong to on Facebook, and was recommended to Ice Cold Air there. I called 4 different companies that day, 2 of which actually came out without charging me a "trip fee". Jeremy was the only one who actually answered his phone, and did it at 6:45 AM, to boot. He came out the same day to take a peek at the system. When he arrived, he allowed me to take him to the equipment, and then talked me through as he took it apart and tested it. I asked a ton of questions, all of which he graciously answered. He showed me the issue (compressor burnt up), and we talked about replacement options. He had me show him the air handler (in the attic!), and talked me through the exchange. He left me with an estimate and gave me time to consider my options. The 2nd company came in right after and also gave me an estimate. They knocked on the door, but helped themselves to the equipment without me offering to take them. I for one, enjoy hosting people on my property, and if I choose not to host them, that's my choice. When I informed them that I had already received an estimate, they quickly tried to slander any information from my estimate. I'm not in the air conditioning business, but I do deal with businesses every day. Slandering another business in the way they tried, is unprofessional, and will never win my dollars! We knew right away that Ice Cold Air was our pick. Jeremy answered all my questions and eased my mind on the concerns I had, and then we scheduled the service. He was only a few days out. He walked me through what to expect, and how the transaction would go, including giving me an estimate of the time they'd be finished. The crew arrived on time as claimed, and were professional, courteous and very aware of being good guests while in my home. They cleaned up after themselves and talked me through the paperwork, the warranty and the final receipt. And left a little before expected! I would happily do business again. I believe I received an amazing price, and I know I received amazing service. Now if that other air conditioner can hold on for one more season. ;-) read more

Jeremy was great. He was able to come to troubleshoot my heater the following day (during a freeze!) He kept in touch with me the day he was coming to let me know what time he would arrive. He was quick and thorough. I highly recommend him. read more

This is the way 'service' on your home should be with every trade! We met with Jeremy, the owner, and he reviewed our old system, explained what would happen with the new AC system, and addressed our questions and concerns. His crew came out and were professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves (they even petted my dog every time he barked at them :-) ). Jeremy came back after the new AC was installed and recommended some changes to reduce the noise produced. I highly recommend Jeremy and Ice Cold Air! Honest, efficient, and just a really nice guy. Two thumbs and four paws up! read more

I hired Ice Cold Air after a terrible experience with another contractor. I had a AC company come out and replace my compressor. After about a week the unit went out again. After several more trips I was fed up and called Jeremy at Ice Cold on the recommendation of a friend. Jeremy came out and within about 30 minutes diagnosed that the other company had put the wrong (lower duty) compressor in and that I would have continual problems. After firing the original company, Ice Cold got the right part put in and the unit worked great and continuously. Next time I'll call Ice Cold Air first and get the job done right the first time. Since that incident, I've recommended them to several friends and colleagues and every time have been thanked for the referral by both the owner and the friend. These guys get it right the first time and do it with professionalism and courtesy. I can't recommend Ice Cold Air highly enough. read more

Jeremy and his team is amazing!!! Always come out quick and fixes everything in a timely manner!!!

I was recovering from back surgery when our AC started acting up. We have a home warranty contract but having dealt with them in the past they will put a bandaid on a bandaid on a bandaid before replacing a system. Knowing our AC system was 30 years old and had many bandaids I knew what I was in store for when I called the warrant company so before doing so I thought I would open yelp and see what I could find out on purchasing a new system outright and boy am I happy I did. I called Ice Cold Air and Jeremy promptly answered. Explained my situation and he was over within an hour or so. Unfortunately and I knew this pretty much before he came, the AC system was on its last legs and needed to be replaced. He did his utmost best to bandaid it and we discussed a new system. The bottom line here is... Jeremy was super responsive and very sensitive to my needs due to me recovering from surgery. Hey did his best to keep our old system working over the weekend until our new system came in and getting a crane truck scheduled for the install. So what did I get? Again great product with no upselling and Jeremy's pricing can't be beat. What are you waiting for? Call him already! read more

What great service!! Call early on a Sunday morning and they responded promptly with their time frame for service. Called and texted 30 mins before they arrived which was well before the time frame. Once here they were very professional in assessing the situation and also handling our dogs. They sent me a photo of the problem and what was needed to fix before moving forward. The problem was resolved quickly and we are back to having Ice Cold Air! read more

Jeremy and Ice Cold Air was recommended to us by a friend. I texted him Saturday afternoon and Jeremy was out first thing on a Monday morning. He came out to inspect our a/c units after a home inspector (for the buyers of our house) told us it was necessary. He checked everything over, and let us know everything looked great. Jeremy was friendly, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. We'll definitely use and recommend them from here on out for all HVAC needs! read more

This is the second time I've used Ice Cold Air for my AC and it was just as impressive as the first. Jeremy responds quickly, is pleasant to communicate with and knows his stuff. I recommend Ice Cold Air to anyone this kind of business etiquette and care of customers is tough to find these days. read more

Called Jeremy after hours and he told me what to do to kick my compressor back on. He saved me time, money and heat. Will use them for now.

jeremy replaced our age old ac/piggy-back swap cooler, it had been badly damage, he accessed, from a hail storm. we contacted our homeowners ins. and the rest jeremy did. it barely cost us a cent! it was replaced in a matter of hours, and within a month's time of the estimate to the ins! that's been a year ago, the unit is doing great and we're saving on the electric! read more
