They said we had a leak and it was going to be thousands of dollars to repair. Out ac was only 5 years old. Being an ex-cop, I'm already suspicious by nature, but after watching these guys work, they are the real deal. We have a system with 3 A/C units, 20 years old. Today, July 12, 2020 at 6:30 a.m., I awaken sweating. My AC is set for 78 but thermostat says 82. During the night, my AC quit blowing out cold air. It couldn't be at a worse time - Sunday, early AM, Covid crisis, AND it is suppose to be 116 degrees today. I called Desert Air Systems for a second opinion on an estimate for work from a competitor. The competitor diagnosed multiple problems and tried to pressure me into a Maintenance Service Plan for the low, low cost of $895.00 for 5 years! I immediately called Desert Air Systems and was pleased beyond words! No hard sell into a Maintenance Program. Eric scheduled me according to my availability and Shawn was my technician. Not only did Shawn inspect my AC; he read the diagnostic report from the competitor and checked everything over again. He even took pictures of specific areas that the competitor indicated were problems. He assured me all was perfect at this time, he brushed some minor debris from the coils and continued to exceed my expectations when he said there was NO charge for the service call. Apparently, Desert Air does not charge for second opinions!! I am a customer for life now and will only let Desert Air touch my AC unit. I will schedule maintenance checkups annually starting in the spring of 2019 with Shawn's professional assessment and knowledge. I highly recommend this little AC Company; clearly working their tails off to compete with the larger and impersonal AC companies that may be out there! My received my electric bill and was 4 times higher than normal, APS blamed a faulty appliance within the home, and said normally the AC unit is to blame. After checking the great reviews online that Desert Air Systems had, I called Eric and he scheduled an appointment for general inspection and Shawn came out and found an issue and replaced a capacitor and a bad board for the blower motor. My power usage went back to normal immediately. Only wish I had realized the issue and called a month sooner. Will use the company for now on! read more

These guys are simply the best. We talked to all the places that you hear on the radio with the cheesy commercials and ALMOST got taken in for a new AC system for over $13k for on a 2 bedroom condo. The other guys took all these pictures and videos and talked the jargon to try and convince me how bad my current system was. Thankfully, I had a friend that knew Eric, an owner of Desert Air and I called him. He carefully looked at the writeup from the other guys and immediately had his doubts. Turns out that we only needed a new capacitor which was super cheap to replace! His crew of Sean and Brandon also did a full diagnostic of my system to check and reassured us that we should be good for years to come. And this was same day service during the coronavirus epidemic! I literally could have been out over $13k if Desert Air did not save me. Even if I needed a whole new system they would have been a fraction of the other guys for a quality job with quality equipment. I will never call anyone else but Desert Air for my AC needs and I encourage you all to do the same. Whenever you hear those ads on the radio or tv of those other companies remember that someone has to pay for them(and that is you).
