My family and i had an amazing time at icandy! It's located at one Times Square right across from the H&M store. Our reservations were for 5pm but we walked 15 mins earlier no problem. You do need to go through metal detectors and security before being allowed upstairs. Once upstairs, there are 2 staff members guiding and one there in case you want to purchase tickets. I really wish this area had a coat rack or something, it would have made the experience a bit more relaxing to go through without our coats on. Especially since you go up on this floor, but also back down to this floor after the experience. Highlights here are the staff! They made it very fun and interactive for my son. My son loved the pigeon guy in the elevator and even made me purchase the pigeon at the gift shop after. The girl handing out the buckets explained everything thoroughly and the zoologist spoke to my son for a while since they love animals! The staff was so interactive and friendly i would return just because of them! I love that each floor had tons of candy and a different theme. Of the 3 floors, i loved the first one the most. Each floor also has a bathroom if you need to go. I also really loved that each candy had a card with the name on it all in the allergens/ingredients on the back. My son is allergic to dairy and eggs and was still able to get a full bucket of candy that he enjoys and that's safe for him. Big kudos to the owners for that! My only recommendation besides the possible coat rack/coat check option would be to have the workers on the third floor of the experience space out and really monitor the kids. This floor is dark and the employees were bunched up in the middle. They tell the kids to not put their hands in the candy but since it's dark and parents come with multiple kids, kids end up doing what they want. We saw this one mom with 4 kids. A baby in a stroller, a toddler about 3 years old, a 9ish year old and a 12ish year old. The 3 & 9 year old were doing their own thing while mom focused on the baby in the stroller. They kept putting their hands in the candy and although the employee saw the toddler doing it and said something, no one noticed the 9 year old do it. I suggest more employees or space out employees better on that floor. Otherwise phenomenal experience. My son wants to go back. And shout out to the girl at the gift shop she was a sweetheart. When we looked at the time, after leaving it was 6:05pm so the experience was a little over an hour and we took lots of pics. Def plan to come back

It's a glorified three story candy store. Hardly interactive until you get to the lower level. They let you fill up a bucket of candy so as a family of four we ended up with four buckets of candy nobody needed. We ate some and thee the rest away. Great photo ops and decor.

If you're a candy and sweets person then Bonbon should be on your list. This is a smaller location…read morecompared to other shop in Brooklyn I have been to. They have all types of gummy style candies with a large varieties sold by the pound. From chocolates, to sweet & sours, candy bars, assorted flavored soft and hard candies. Scoop as much as you want into a bag but be aware that it can get pricey. Everything looks delish and the store is very clean. The staff here is nice and helpful Quality stuff and much better than that which you find in drug stores and supermarkets.

Life has been a little crazy lately. So, I gave in and placed a delivery order from the Upper Eastside store. I chose the Autumn mix because well, it is fall! The packaging was very cute and was a nice presentation. I also thought the thank you note added a lovely touch. Now, let's get down to the candy! One candy that I see in video reviews (not sure other their name, but they look like skulls) where not in my order. That was a bit of a disappointment. I figure once I go in person, I will try them. I had a really nice mix of both sour and sweet candies. I really enjoyed them. I received some of those soft candies and they were good but, not amazing. I am not a fan of black licorice. There were several types in my bag. That was the major negative about not being able to choose the candy myself. The quantity of candy was larger than I expected.. A yummy experience. I look forward to going to the store and choosing an experiencing with the entire selection.

(I visited late evening, Thursday, August 28, 2025). This was a very brief visit, after dinner out,…read moreand based on the very nice service this evening, I want to return very soon, so that I can really enjoy looking around the store. There is a lot to see, and I did not have the time due to my own schedule. The man who helped us was so very nice and kind. I believe he said he is usually at their Brooklyn shop, but he was helping out in this west side of Manhattan shop. He explained about the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION colorful, rainbow, STAR-SHAPED LOLLIPOPS near the cashier pay area. Please SEE MY PHOTOS. IT'S SUGAR has raised more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the people who bought the special lollipops; AND their goal is to raise $2 Million dollars for The Make-a-Wish Foundation. So, if you are near the store, please stop in. Buy a MAKE-A-WISH lollipop. Look around. Enjoy the candy sights you see, and make a purchase. They have Totsie Roll Pops, too!! And so much more, I have to visit again...soon! :) FOR VISITORS TO NYC--you will be near this store if you are in the Columbus Circle area, and the Lincoln Center area. And, it's a nice walk from the theatre district and the Fifth Avenue area, too. NYC is a great WALKING CITY, so, if you are heading out for the day, wear comfortable walking/running shoes, so that you can walk over and visit this shop. And, Thank You to the man from Brooklyn working at the store. Your great customer service made the visit a pleasure!

Just left there where I was accused of stealing drug paraphernalia. Some dumb novelty mug pipe…read morecombo thing. I don't smoke or use cannabis so it's literally of no use to me. It's a heat wave and my daughter is at her college orientation. While we wait for her we've been finding creative ways to stay cool. Before heading into the shops at Columbus we headed into its sugar because we're with my 10m old and he likes looking at the lights and bright colors. I picked up a mug called "wake and bake" and asked my husband does it work and how. I then put it down. When exiting an employee in a purple shirt was kind of blocking the door. I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I'm annoyed that a company that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It's Sugar I'm going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it's for the best and I should be supporting local businesses. I'm honestly stuck on the fact that they thought a mother pushing her infant child was attempting to steal something so wildly inappropriate.
