Then I went back June 5th to get my second treatment that was suppose to "complete" the lip injection treatment and my lips were literally black and blue from all the bruising. Occasionally I will wake up in the morning and my lips will be completely swollen in a certain area I believe from the product busting while I sleep I actually woke up today and my right side of my lips were completely swollen I asked the company if there was any way I could get the product taken out and they said yes just text them pics of my lips and they would get back to me. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY TEACH THEIR STAFF TO PREY ON WOMENS INSECURITIES…read more I came in for Botox but the staff quickly noticed my Melasma and pulled me into a private room to lie to me. "I can GUARANTEE to get rid of your dark spots and uneven skin tone with our Clear+Brilliant" is what two sales associates told me. I have been dealing with Melasma for the past five years and was always told its incurable. I've tried all the creams, serums, wipes, acids and facials and have spent thousands of dollars to help, to no avail. For a biracial woman who has had perfect skin up until five years ago, hearing two women of color say they "GUARANTEED" to fix my Melasma, was music to my ears. I bought six sessions and spent $1700 that day with a promise of "altering my life with clearer skin." These are the key terms they used over and over to dupe me and steal my money to make a sale. My first session seemed promising. Didnt really notice a difference but was hopeful. The nurse went over my face six passes and didn't mention a continuous use of hydrochloric acids to help the process along. Second and third sessions; noticed a slight change but no mention of aftercare. Just to stay out of the sun. Two different nurses, two different techniques. One went over my face with four passes, the other only two passes. Fourth and fifth visits, I was starting to get worried that this "guarantee" they mentioned was a hoax. Fourth nurse only did four passes on my face; again no mention of aftercare. Fifth visit, only TWO passes. My last session, I explained my concerns and was told by the nurse that all the previous nurses should have been doing EIGHT passes every time and I should've been using creams and acids this whole time. I was so upset. Why wasn't this told to me prior? Why hadn't they gone over my face eight passes every-time? What could be done? "You can buy more sessions, of course!" I voiced my concerns and the receptionist pretty much threw up her hands and shrugged and the nurse told me to buy more sessions. What happened to the "guarantee" they promised me? I was told to call back and ask to speak to customer service. I called twice, to no avail. Fast forward to yesterday, I call LaserAway to get a consultation and explain what happened. I speak to Mariel and she gets me in touch with customer service. I again go into detail about what happened and the condescending man I spoke to was infuriating. Spoke to me like I was a four year old child, mansplaining and talking down to me. No one has taken responsibility for the staff lying to me, no one has apologized for the nurses not giving me aftercare instructions, completely ignored what I was saying just to say "didn't you know Melasma can't be cured?" The condescending man from customer service ended the call by saying "there's nothing I can do. Good luck." Shame on you LaserAway for preying on the insecurities of women and giving them false hope. I honestly believe the staff is trained to lie to women and take no responsibility for their actions.

She is also so warm and truly makes you feel comfortable with your experience. At my first visit we also discussed treating my melasma--an incredibly difficult-to-treat skin discoloration usually due to hormones. She explained different ways it can be treated, but just how persistent and frustrating it can be even with treatment. With all this in mind, I chose to do the treatment she recommended and loved my results! Some of the hyperpigmentation has come back, because hormones and the sun exist--even with my use of hats and sunscreen, but that's just the nature of melasma. The treatment we did worked wonderfully! I plan on doing further work with her in the fall when the sun has lessened some of it's summer intensity and it will be easier to get a handle on things. Overall, I have loved my experience here and will keep coming back for services even after I no longer need laser hair removal. Laser lights is excellent!

After following Mitzi on social media, I booked an appointment for injectables--and I'm so glad I did. From the start, Mitzi took time to discuss my anti-aging goals. In my mid-40s and used to regular filler and Botox, I wanted a long-term approach. She clearly explained various options, including their benefits and drawbacks, and helped me understand how the face changes with age--where volume is lost, how balance shifts, and how to maintain a natural, youthful look. Rather than focusing on one area, Mitzi assessed my face holistically and created a personalized plan to restore balance while preserving my natural features. We chose a combination of Sculptra and Radiesse biostimulators with Dysport instead of Botox, focusing on both correction and collagen stimulation. I appreciated her thoughtful recommendations tailored to my goals. She was also transparent about pricing, reviewing all costs upfront so there were no surprises. The treatment itself was comfortable, with numbing cream and thoughtful touches like her assistant providing distraction during injections. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming--more like spending time with friends than undergoing a procedure. As a mom, I also appreciated how accommodating they were to my five-year-old son during my visit. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and skilled team in Atlanta for skincare, injectables, or facial rejuvenation, I highly recommend First Body.
