The greens and course are in pretty good shape. A little bit more work and a couple of well placed bunkers could make this elite level. But it's already hard enough to book a tee time here, so any major upgrades will most likely not happen any time soon. The potential of this site could easily make this a top notch club in the GTA. I've heard they've mostly cut back on the restaurant and banquet facilities.

With that said, it's very affordable and well-suited to families who have kids in the 3-12 age range. A great spot for locals or if you happen to be with your family in the area. For just under $30, a family can enter the park which has: an outdoor pool, a 20 ft. spiral water slide, a 'lazy river' tube ride, picnic benches (you can bring in outside food), and a kids playground. For another $5 (total), everyone in the family can have access the mini golf course - though its certainly an older run-down one. Finally, there's also a batting cage and it was fairly cheap too. The concession had the standard items such as hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages, along with chips and chocolate bars. Again, quite cheap and nothing was over $3.50. They even grill the food on the BBQ to order. That pretty much describes the place. Fairly simple, but also very affordable and a sure-fire way to enjoy a day with family on a warm summer's day.

We missed our tee time but we joined a nice couple and played with them. Great way to practice and get a short game in. It's okay, not too challenging and kind of basic with not too many hazards and wasn't super interesting. I think that's the purpose just to get a quick practice. There are a couple of bigger courses here that my partner has played on and he said it was great. He would give the club 5 stars based on the bigger courses and facilities, but I'll give it 4 since I've only tried the academy course and it was just okay. The facilities are nice. For members, you can use the driving range and push carts for "free" well included in your membership rate. There's a locker room where you can take a shower, use their towels and get a stretch on and chill before your game. They also have a nice bistro with a lovely covered deck and live music on most Saturdays. Definitely wouldn't mind dining here if I'm in the area next time. I believe the bistro is for members only, but it looks like there is a non-member rate too.

As we walked in we were very pleasantly surprised. The place is super nice. Booths on the left and right and a beautiful bar to balance it off. We had made a reservation and as we checked in we were upgraded to the private room in the back. And man would I love to have this setup at home. Wall sized screen, tv for sports and nice comfy chairs. A quick tutorial on the system which is very intuitive and we were off on our round. Yes a little different than the real thing but pretty awesome experience. The service is top notch. The beers are cold and I really could spend a lot of time here.
