They do not make the upper bunk bed for 'hygiene reasons'.
No shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, toothbrush/toothpaste.
Smelly hallways. Poor ventilation systems in bathroom. When you take a warm shower the whole room gets significantly warmer and you have to open the window with no screens and let in mosquitos to cool the room down. No fridge in room.
Th main reason for this 1 star review: poor attitude by the manager!!! Was told by reception staff that the common eating area was open 24/7 for us to use. When we tried to sit down there the next morning to eat our leftover takeaway foods, the manager told us we can't even sit there unless we pay for breakfast. We offered to get up as soon as soon as (if it even) gets busier, and she said no. We offered to purchase a drink and she still said no - what kind of customer service is that? Despite there being only 2 out of at least 12 tables that were occupied, us taking up a third table would have been an issue apparently. She hovered over us until we left and said, cheekily 'thank you (for leaving)' basically. Very unpleasant attitude for no reason at all. We felt we were treated like thiefs who were not staying at this hotel. read more
