I booked the Marriott hotel via booking.com and all went well. We attended an event in one of their function rooms such the location was ideal. The room was well proportioned and the bathroom quite large with a big bath on offer. I got 2 massive twin beds. The room was just beside the elevator, but still, I slept well. The hotel was clean throughout. At arrival we were greeted by a very cheerful receptionist, who was very helpful at the check in. The whole night was a success as the function room in itself was well organised and prepared. On occasion the staff was so over enthusiastic and helpful that I had to continuously ask for my drinks back when they had collected my full glasses from the tables beside me. The location is ideally situated near the shopping and sightseeing district in Glasgow, but also near Central station. I will be back.

The staff were very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. The bed was comfy and the room has everything you need. I enjoyed my stay very much. The breakfast is great too. The executive lounge offers different snacks everyday. They also have a cute swimming pool.

Not stayed in here before, but have used their conference facilities a few times. I've stayed in at least one other Marriott Hotel and this one looks much the same. This one is a 4-star. It is near a few different train stations and is easy enough to get to, though overlooking a busy motorway is a bit off-putting for an expensive Hotel stay. It's near a few Glasgow highlights like the Glasgow Science Centre and is more out the way than some of the more centrally located hotels like The Millennium Hotel which will either be good or bad depending on what you are after. It was a great venue for our recent University graduation where we all had a great night with great service at the bar, which was, as expected, pricy. With so many hotels to choose from in the city centre, it is difficult to choose. It depends on your budget and preferred location I guess. Having never actually spent the night here, I cant offer any concrete recommendations on whether or not this is a strong contender for a Glasgow highlight. Judging from the other reviews on Yelp though, I doubt if it is memorable enough to merit the cost.

Very small nibble bar for when you need a pick me up after a swim etc

I was given a free facial treatment voucher from one of the hotel managers after meeting with him to discuss possibly working together in the future. It took me nearly a week to book in to get my facial in the first place, due to the booking service not working, the phone going straight to another salon and no one answering the phone. I was a little put off by this to be honest. When I did get booked, I had booked in for 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived the place was in darkness and once the lights had been "fixed" I went back into the reception area. Where I sat for at least 10 mins before someone came to reception, the girl didn't ask me for my voucher so I could have kept it effectively and used again! Filling in the form about who I was etc, I noticed that they hadn't asked for any allergies as I have two pretty severe ones and I had to then inform the staff that I had these. When I asked them to check their products i got "Yeah we don't have these in our stuff" and I asked once again for her to check. That was all I needed a trip to A & E! My facial was ok but not great to be honest. The area itself is very small and everything seems crammed in as you will see from my pics. I really don't think I will be going back!

The room itself was exactly the same. Overall, the layout and king bed are always enjoyable, but the hard floor makes for a difficult experience if you're trying to do some in-room stretching/yoga/exercising. A couple things unique to my visit in Glasgow: -During check-in, it asked me what type of room I'd like (meaning, the level/view). I chose a lower room, as it said it was a city view. This was more like a view of the building across the street on the west side of the building. But the lower room was good because... -One of the elevators wasn't working when I checked in, so being able to take stairs up to my room was something I took advantage of. -The actual spot in Glasgow I found very convenient for my purposes. I was able to walk to the university area in about 25 min, as well as over to my favorite spot (Mono/Monorail) in the same amount of time. It was also very close to the Glasgow Queen St station. So all in all, a good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The shower area is frosted glass so your silhouette is on full show so be aware of this. The staff here are so lovely and welcoming and helpful and we had such a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again.

My thanks and appreciation to the team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow for patience and diligence…read morein helping me get our Spring Team Meeting sorted after the devastating fire on 8 March at the historic Forsyth Building which caused the voco Grand Central to rebook (within 48 hours of suggesting it) our meeting at the Radisson Blu! It's wonderful to see how business competitors can work together when a disaster occurs; the voco Grand Central and Radisson are shining examples of that cooperation and teamwork. The Radisson Blu managed to re-create our meeting within 30 days (our start date was 14 April), and everything worked seamlessly. Even with numerous changes, the hotel staff took care to ensure everything ran smoothly. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was easy (about GBP38 by Taxi). Our Team thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The guest rooms were very nice and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly, professional, responsive, and dedicated to ensure our meeting ran smoothly. The Meeting Room was spacious, A/V was plug/play, and the daily food/beverage were of very good quality with a great selection. They diligently took the (shellfish) food allergies and (Halal, Kosher) dietary restrictions into consideration providing meals that could be enjoyed by all. It's a terrific location with Glasgow Central Station (train) just steps away and numerous pubs, restaurants, and the Argyle Street shopping district just down the street in any direction. I definitely recommend this property for both groups and leisure travelers.

I would probably have rated this hotel with two stars if it hadn't been for Michele, who helped us…read morewith our room key fiasco. The first time we arrived at our room, the room key didn't work. We went back down to get another one. That didn't work either. Michele came up with us and her keys didn't work either. Engineering came to fix the door. They assured us that we would no longer have any problems. A couple of hours later, we went back to our room. Our key didn't work again. Eventually, we were moved to another room with some complimentary breakfast. The hotel is no doubt dated in comparison to other locations. However, it does have amenities we enjoyed: a pool, which was a little circuitous to get to, a gym, and an ice machine. As Michele mentioned, the hotel doesn't have great views. Our first room had a view of other hotel room windows. Our second room had a partial view of Glasgow Central Station and Hope Street. Our room was fairly spacious. The breakfast buffet had many options, even a la carte items. Grahamston was terrible. The service was slow and inattentive. City Sightseeing bus stopped right in front of the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
