Most aspects of this recent stay were 4-star, but the lack of air conditioning is kind of baffling. When I moved to Oregon, I faced the same issue. The locals claimed that it normally wasn't needed for the climate. But I thing the management here needs to consider offering more than just a small fan.
Each room has a heater, so I would recommend this hotel in cooler weather without hesitation.
I had a clean, comfortable and QUIET room considering the wedding.
Scottish breakfast was very good. I tried Haggis for the first time. If you ever watched the movie Highlander, Christopher Lambert describes Haggis as "meat and barley boiled in a sheep's stomach". MMMM doesn't that sound good? (NOT)
Well, I found it to be a bit like corned beef hash, but much less salty. Not my _favorite_ breakfast food, but I am glad I tried it.
They also offer roasted tomatoes, sausages, scrambled eggs, custom omelets, yogurt and fruit.
I only ate breakfast here, so cannot rate the lunch or dinner menu. read more
