I visited the Suitsupply at Cherry Creek in Denver at approximately 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 9th…read more I have shopped Suitsupply at the Scottsdale and New York locations without ever needing an appointment, so I was surprised to learn one was expected here. Fine. I was told the wait would be fifteen to twenty minutes, and moments later a second associate assured me they would be "with me very, very shortly." I agreed and sat down. I then watched other walk-in customers, people who also had no appointment, get promptly greeted, offered something to drink, and helped. Forty-five minutes passed. No drink was ever offered to me. No update was given. When I finally asked, I was told there were still three people ahead of me and that I had supposedly been "quoted an hour." I was never quoted an hour. I would never have agreed to wait that long, particularly while paying for parking by the hour. When I raised this, the associate escalated his story to "an hour to an hour and a half," which is not remotely what I was told, and does not even align with his colleague's "very shortly." A third associate refused to acknowledge any of this and offered only a hollow "I'm sorry you misunderstood." When I asked if I could simply shop on my own and get help with pants sizing, I was told that required an attendant and would be another thirty to forty-five minutes. I left the items I had gathered on the counter and walked out. Other customers noticed how I was being treated. I left feeling singled out and unwelcome in a store that was happy to serve everyone around me. I will not be returning.

It's fitting that rag & bone has joined other business which cater to the affluent CCN denizens. Looking for a men's sweater? It can be yours for just under $500 (the fabric is worthy of fondling for a minute, go ahead it's allowed). What about a men's beanie? $98. This makes lululemon price points look absolutely affordable. What justifies the prices is the quality of materials, design, customer service, and of course status. The clothes are meant for a younger demographic, and establishes one's identity as a hip, city boy (or girl) in the know. The clothes don't advertise themselves with brand logos - but when you dine at Le Colonial and a hand brushes up against you, people will know. I'm getting the beanie. He was able to cater to our needs for my fiancé's suit for our wedding. He took into consideration our venue, the type of weather we were going to be dealing with, the accessories we already had prior picking colors for the suit, which made our decision making easy and to our liking. When taking measurements I noticed how he communicated with my fiance helping him through the process of finding the best fit for him for such an important day. We highly recommend indochinos and highly recommend Oscar.

I brought them back for alterations, and they returned them to me later and said the alterations were completed. That was a lie. Not a single alteration was done, and the pants still don't fit properly. Now they want me to waste more of time and come in again. Additionally, I ordered long-sleeve shirts, and they sent me short-sleeve shirts. The manager there, Chikee Talker, dealt with the situation poorly. She was resistant to accommodating me properly as a customer, sent an inappropriate email to me and ultimately led me to having to challenge the transaction on my credit card. An incredibly poor experience made worse by a store manager who didn't handle the situation well.

The entire experience was not only pleasurable but informative. The staff at Icon debated with each other about the tiniest of alterations until consensus was reached, and made you feel a part of the process and ownership over the suit. The suit itself is stunning. For a little over the price of an off-the-rack suit, I now have a piece of clothing I will wear will comfort and pride! As a side story, while I was there, a man came in with an appointment to get his wedding suit. After talking through information about half-canvas and full canvas and general information for 15 minutes, they asked him for his price range. The man sheepishly asked to keep it under $200. The staff did not laugh him off. They told him that unfortunately, their suits started around $1000. But then they poured him a scotch and sat with him and discussed marriage and suits and gave him life advice. In a world of transactions, they made him feel human. It was handled beautifully.
