Ok so I went to this store because I liked the website but when I got to the establishment I parked and my girlfriend fell hard on the parking lot Salt was only on the sidewalk so I said something but the person there did not car so I then went to go look at boot for work for my government job getting help was like pulling teeth although a white woman came in after me to buy a $25 beanie while I was trying to buy $240 boots she had all three employees helping her when I finally got help the salesman didn't really know anything about boot and was discredit me on my knowledge of boots when I was completely right. I did not have a great experience I guess I'm not the right demographic for that store so I told my supervisor and coworkers I'm definitely not going back as well as my coworkers so I will take my business to red wing where I get treated well good luck very disappointed. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. We went to the store in the springs and the salesman's was great told us he didn't have the particular work boot that we wanted in stock at that store but it was in stock at the store in Golden he even called the golden store to make sure that they had them and to make sure that they would bring them to the front so we could try them on and pay for them. We drove all the way up to Golden. When we enter the store the lady behind the counter, she did greet us, which was great, however the guy (apparently Michael Boyter the Owner tall, gray hair, skinny with glasses) behind counter at the store was rude. The whole entire time that we asked for boots he did get them out and let us try them on but he was rude the whole time. He did not tell us anything about the boots he just stood there and watched us as if we were going to steal the boots. He also directed the other sales clerk to keep an eye on us while he went and got other boots. Didn't think I saw that did ya Mike. Overall basically treated us as if we were wasting his time. When we went to pay we also decided we would get safety glasses as well. I did let Mike the owner know that the chip on my business card was bad and that we would probably need to swipe it. They have a Clover POS system which I'm familiar with since I have always worked in the customer service industry I know that after three times of the chip not registering that the POS system will allow you to swipe the card which of course our card would work since there is plenty of money on the card and yes you can also enter a card manually which of course he refused to do as well. He told me he would not allow that. I said well then I will pay for them online and do the in store pickup just like you advertise on your website and he told me that he would not honor that. told me there was no such thing as curbside pickup or in store pickup. told me since my chip was not working it would not work online either and that he absolutely would not sell us the boots. Treating us as if we are thieves trying to fraudulently use a card. He never once asked to see my ID to confirm that yes I was the card owner. My fiancé was upset at this point and said "screw this bullshit I don't want to give this guy our business if he's gonna treat us this way!" Mike became angry and yelled at us to get out of his store while pushing us physically out of the store he stepped on my shoe while pushing me and almost did not let me put my shoe back on while telling us to get out of his store. This guy is a piece of shit, a huge asshole and racist against brown skinned people. For an owner of a business Mike has no social skills! Do not buy from here! You can go get boots from the Carolina store directly for cheaper. Guess what we walked out of the store and purchased them directly from Carolina for $40 dollars cheaper for next day delivery using my business card that supposedly was fraudulent. it's called end of year business write offs that is why a business card is used Mike! We know for sure you do the same with damaged returns. Screw Michael Boyter the owner you are an asshole! read more

My husband and I stopped here to get him some shoes for work. We stepped into the shop and were immediately greeted by two employees. My husband told the second employee what he needed (shoes) and he was set in motion. He explained how to redeem his work voucher and gave us the highest price of shoes my husband could get without going over the voucher. He patiently waited while my husband browsed the shoes, and went to get a pair my husband requested. While my husband was trying on the shoes, he told him how to get the best fit so they would always be comfortable. We were in and out in probably 15 minutes. It was awesome. They had a ton of other work related clothes, such as coveralls and reflective gear. There was a lot of stuff in a small space, but it was well organized. We had a great experience and we will definitely return to this location as needed. read more

I was all set to buy my first pair of safety shoes here but the tall blond salesclerk was such an asshole I decided to spend my money elsewhere. He treated me like an idiot for not knowing the difference between composite and steel toes and then scoffed at me for not knowing my "correct" shoe size. Pretty much everything I said was wrong, even when I tried to make small talk. After I left I found out the rumor is that employees here are sexist and racist, and I believe it. This is a fantastic store for all things rugged and safety. All the shoes/boots are steel toed and there is even a selection for women! Most variety of any store we have found for steel-toed. Also carried numerous hard hats (NFL logo, etc), great safety goggles (even some designed specifically for a woman's smaller head). The sales personnel where very friendly and helpful. This will be our first stop for rugged work related items from now on. read more

I walked in and briefly browsed the safety boot displays while one of the ladies there stood ready to help at the slightest indication from me. I turned around and asked for the boots in my size. She quickly fetched them from their inventory. I tried them on to ensure the size was correct. The cashier quickly completed the purchase. The whole experience was quick, pleasant and unobtrusive.
