I visited Iberia yesterday evening with some Russian friends. It was the first time I had tried Georgian food, so my review may be a little biased, but I was very very pleased with both the food and the dining experience and would definitely visit again.
For the starter we had a cold meze which was very tasty, also a selection of breads. For a main course I had flat fried spicy chicken served with new potatoes. Both things were absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant was very polite and welcoming, and was very attentive throughout the evening. I visited on a Sunday evening, and it was very quiet. I haven't visited during busy times, so I'm not sure how the service would be then, but it is a fairly small restaurant and the staff seem as though they would be capable of handling busy nights.
I did have ice cream afterwards, and I have to say.. there was quite a lot of very large frozen bits of ice throughout it... and it wasn't very pleasant. Although... it was my fault for not going for an authentic georgian desert. My friend ordered a traditional slice of cake, and having tried a little piece of it, it was absolutely delicious. I am still giving it an excellent review though despite this, as it was a lovely evening, full of delicious food, and great service.
The decor is also absolutely lovely, and it is a very modern, clean restaurant. There were lots of little candles scattered around the restaurant and it had a very cosy atmosphere. It would be nice for a romantic meal.
