What a beautiful inn! Had a great time. Very relaxing. We stayed there because it was so close to Woodstock. Will be back

I came across this B&B because my daughter had just moved to Vermont and I was looking for a B&B to stay at. I wanted something nice because it was my first time going to Vermont. I was so happy I had found this place, it was a wonderful experience. The B&B and farm was so beautiful. The owners were amazing and the nicest people. I'm sorry I can't remember their names. I had a room on the first floor. I remember mentioning to her that I was visiting my daughter and that I wish I could cook my daughter her favorite meals. The owner mentioned that they had an apartment like room on the 2nd floor with a kitchen that was already reserved, however if the people who reserved it don't show up, I could have the room. They did not show up so I got that beautiful room with a outside porch and beautiful view. My daughter even slept over for a couple of nights and I was able to cook some of her favorite meals. The stay included breakfast which was the best. The house was so charming. It was the best experience I ever had. The following year I drove and called to book a room and found out no pets were allowed. I was devastated. I would have been a life long customer. I highly recommend this B&B. Also, best maple syrup ever!

Early morning coffee on the front porch, sitting in newly refurbished Adirondack chairs, enjoying a robust cup of specially blended Pond Mountain Inn coffee! Stunning views of the beautiful trees that surround the property and those on the mountain across the way, with different shades and hues of greens. Some mornings not a cloud in the sky, while others have various sizes and shapes of puffy white clouds sailing by on the jet stream. Listening to many different types of birds chirping and to the woodpeckers pecking. Watching a hawk or two soaring on the winds and tiny hummingbirds feeding a mere 6' away. Hearing the gentle breezes rustling through the trees, watching the occasional deer wander down the gravel drive and then bound across the front lawn to the fields next door. Perhaps a red fox trotting across the lawn to drink at the pond down near The Cottage and then continuing his morning journey. The sun beginning to peak over the top of the mountain across the way and starting to warm the front porch. A perfect start to the morning, and all of this before one of Kay's magnificent breakfasts! Life is good, and even better as a regular guest at Pond Mountain Inn!

Kay and Glen were highlights amongst the stay. They were both so welcoming and so kind. We absolutely loved breakfast. There was so much care put into the breakfast. It was of both quality and beauty. I particularly loved this part of Vermont and enjoyed taking runs and walks down both ways of the road. It is quiet and there are both farms and mountains to enjoy. This location is not far from both Dorset and Manchester so you can find both restaurants and day hikes within a relatively short drive. A beautiful part of Vermont.
