It is a beautiful,…read moresecluded house on CCC Road (which stands for Civilian Conservation Corps, we learned from a book in our room); and we were the only people staying there this given weekend. It was a little confusing when we arrived to figure out how to get inside. We ended up finding an unlocked door to the side (the front door is a little harder to push open), but then it was unclear who was around. It would have been helpful to have more information right in the main area about how to get in touch with someone or even the wifi password in case we needed to call someone. (Our phones did not work in this part of town.) Our room, the Green Room, was comfy. There's also a hot tub in an adjacent room that can be used by guests, which had lots of pleasant additions like candles and bath salts. The jets were great! There was a surprise power outage one evening, which thankfully didn't last too long but did seem to impact the temperature of the hot water for the rest of the time we were there, even after the water heater was reset. Breakfast each morning was really tasty and filling. (Helen made perfect bacon!) By being the only people in the b&b this given weekend, we did feel a little like we were a burden, but overall our stay was comfortable. It's a really beautiful space.

You have to enter up this little covered bridge which is pretty cool. Once entering the Inn you are greeted by the owner or his wife usually and brought into the dining room or the bar if you choose. the decor is very welcoming and has a very cozy feel to it. You truly feel like you are visiting a friends home. The food was excellent the drinks were well crafted and the evening was memorable. Can't wait to come back!

The ambiance was very memorable -- from the adorable covered bridge you drive through, to the architecture of the inn, to the sweet greeting from innkeeper Bill. We felt like we were visiting someone's home, and we could definitely sense Bill's passion for the place. We visited around Christmastime during Covid-19, so Killington wasn't as busy as I'm sure it usually is. We had the choice of eating in the dining room or in their lounge in front of the HUGE and beautifully decorated tree. Christmas music was softly playing, and the romantic cabin aesthetic really made me feel like I was living in a real life Hallmark movie. The food was good, not SUPER memorable, but very yummy. We had the brie (my favorite), ravioli and NY strip steak. Overall, the experience was fantastic for our anniversary. Try it out!

We had the top accommodation ( nicknamed the penthouse ) all to ourselves and at first glance, we found it to be really nice. The building itself is quite old, but the space is overall well maintained and the rooms were large as well as nice. The space had more than enough room for all of us as well as a decently sized kitchen and a living room. The amount of room we were given was more than sufficient for 8, but we were without water for the entire stay. It was revealed after we checked out that a plumber had uncovered a leak in the pipes which was why the water was failing to get to our unit at the top, but overall, it left us feeling very discouraged as we couldn't shower, wash dishes, or even flush our toilets. We were compensated $100 at the end and were allowed to use another room's shower for the second night ( not the first though since they were fully booked ), but the first night definitely felt rough as we had skiied and snowboarded all day without the ability to shower. The food for breakfast was pretty decent - I enjoyed the complementary meal both days, the first day being a buffet style and the second day being more of an order whatever you'd like due to the smaller crowd. It was pretty standard with eggs, bacon / sausage, pancakes / French toast, and a variety of juices as well as coffee. I would only not recommend the French toast as it was just like bread dipped in egg rather than having the actual flavor of French toast. Overall, I wouldn't mind booking the space again as the staff were kind enough and doing their best, but probably not with the penthouse out of fear of not having water again.
