I have been taking my vehicles to this mechanic for years, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. A few months ago, he personally came to my parents' home to diagnose an issue with my Benz that I had been using but was using other ways of transport till I could fix my Mercedes-Benz. After inspecting the vehicle, he provided me with a list of parts that needed to be purchased to complete the repairs. At no point did he indicate that working on a Mercedes-Benz would be an issue. Last week, I contacted him again to arrange the repairs for my mother to use the car but He explained that he was busy but explicitly told me he would be able to work on the vehicle this week. Relying on his word, my parents made the necessary arrangements, including renting a vehicle while theirs was supposed to be repaired. Imagine their surprise when they arrived at the shop this morning, only to be told by the shop's owner thatthey do not work on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. (with a merdcedes Benz sitting right in the shop for an ac repair or something lol). Are you kidding me? At this point I'm not sure if it mattered whether he would only fix it if the car was for my use and not my parents. This is the same vehicle the mechanic had already personally inspected, diagnosed, and recommended purchasing parts for. The same vehicle he agreed to repair just last week. Yet somehow, when my parents actually arrived, the shop suddenly refused to work on it. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of miscommunication, dishonesty, or sheer disregard for a customer's time and money. Had we been told from the beginning that the shop would not service a Mercedes-Benz, we would have simply gone elsewhere. Instead, my parents wasted an entire week renting a vehicle based on a commitment this business apparently had no intention or ability to honor. When I explained this all to him he sat there on a high horse saying he isn't the owner but he was the one who made the decisions. Funny stuff What makes this particularly frustrating is that I was a longtime customer. I trusted this mechanic because of our years of prior business. Apparently, that loyalty meant very little. A reputable business should know what vehicles it services, communicate honestly with its customers, and stand behind the commitments it makes. These are not unreasonable expectations; they are the bare minimum. If this is how they treat longtime customers, I would strongly caution anyone considering trusting this shop with their vehicle. After years of giving this mechanic my business, I will not be returning. The wasted money is frustrating, but the complete loss of trust is even worse. Life is short, go where the people are kind and good, not racist bigots. Oh and if you have a Benz don't come here They don't have the knowledge or experience to fix your Benz (I'm letting you know because they don't know what they know)
