I had been a customer from May - Oct 2025 and never really had any issues with the staff, which provided good customer service. The quality of their flower varies and it is overpriced; however, it was close to me, convenient, and wanted to support a Veteran owned business. The issue I have is how the owner of the store was disrespectful, had a bad attitude, and took my inquiry about the system they use to scan your ID card into their system saving your personal information very personal. On Oct 6th, I brought up concerns about how secure is the system/software where my personal information is stored and concerns of a breach when the staff informed he had to scan my ID card. I expressed how uncomfortable I felt about this. The owner overheard the conversation and interjected while attending another customer speaking rude and loud informing me that by law I had to have my ID scanned to purchase hemp, etc. I did make my purchase, ID was given, scanned, and left. The quality of what I purchased was subpar which led me to decide to quit, stop spending my hard earned money on an average product, and not be subjected to poor customer service and insults by the owner. I returned 10/9 to see if my information that was retrieved from my ID card could be removed from their system and expressed my concerns. The staff was polite providing me answers and I asked to speak to the owner. The owner's approached me strated being unprofessional, treated me like a child, told me to hush that I was in his house, and that he was going to do the talking. I heard him out and told him to educate me on the law, policies, and to address my concerns. He took it all personal, we both went in circles, and I concluded this was going nowhere and I was not going to continue to tolerate the disrespect. He tried to make points saying things like my ID card should be scanned by law when even purchasing alcohol!!!! You have to be kidding me. I have never had my ID to scanned and retrieve my personal information in any liquor store, bar, and/or restaurant, which he said that they should. Very sad this situation happended and I told him this is who you treat your customers with questions and concerns. I extended my hand to wish him the best and for the both of us to move on. He rejected my gesture to leave in a peaceful manner of let's agree to disagree and left my hand extended hanging saying that he refused to shake my hand. He said something about he did not want a physical confrontation (laughable). Such a shame since we are both Veterans and I shopped there to support local business owned by a Veteran. The owner is unprofessional, needs to take classes on customer service skills to learn how not to take things personal, and use a better approach when interacting with customers with concerns. As I left with my head high because I believe to speak or ask questions when needed, I did wish him the best and much success with his business and he lost a customer. Owner, do not forget that your customers are the ones that keep the lights on to your "house" and you should be a better host when attending customers. If I could give a zero star review I would! Because this is not how you treat returning customers who spent their hard earned money to be treated with disrespect. I recommend other shops in the area that have a better quality product with superior customer service skils. read more
