I got a pedicure & spent $100 (including the tip) bc I feel bad not tipping. But they didn't even scrub my feet.... She touched my calves more than my feet. I've never had a pedicure where they didn't scrub my feet.. they were so involved with another client that I didn't bother to say anything, I have bad anxiety so I don't talk a lot. I am happy with the way my nails look so that isn't my problem. I was in Shreveport for a funeral and one of my nails broke. It has been a couple of weeks since I had it done and I already need them done again. Not complaining about that but I should. It was $75.00 for the service, (a little pricey for the service but ok) I gave her a $100.00 bill and she thanked me and put the change beside the register. This place is very clean , friendly , and for a walk in I got in & out in under two hours. All the workers wore masks but customers did not have to, but I did see a few wearing them. In my opinion my service was expensive & after one week two of my nails popped off. Once I returned home after a week & a half of having this set I had another nail removed by my technician because water was trapped under my nail. Worst manicure and pedicure ever! $140 and my toes and hands look worse than when I went in. They do it very fast. In a rush. My cuticles on feet and hands awful. My heels and feet rough. They probably do good fake nails but for a mani pedi I am soooo mad. I have to find somewhere to go and have them redone. My finger nails are filed uneven and was done lightly. My toenails are too long. I asked to cut more. Then he used a tool on my right toe and stuck it in my cuticle twice. I almost hit the ceiling with pain. Two times. After I told him and jumped he did it again. I have never had anything like this. The nail polish on my toes looks very cheap and look like a. Old manicure instead of a new one. I've been coming here for a while now to get my pedicure done and they've done exceptional work. But this time..... First of all I respect the hustle , but baby ..... I had a young man do my pedicure he looked like he was around 18 years old. I don't think he had a lot of experience. I asked for a French tip design, but I should've just gone for a basic solid color For the base color the young was going to just apply one coat and I asked him to apply another bc nudes don't really show if you don't apply more than one coat. I was just not happy with the design and it wasn't getting any better. After a while I asked the young man if we could just do a solid white color, but he looked frustrated and his manager ended up coming to fix it . I appreciate the effort and trying to fix the problem. I spent a total of two hours. after the manager came to fix it , it was no more foot massage and the pedicure was over. It's a hit or miss when it's good it's good and when it's bad it's bad . I requested almond nails with matte polish. The technician completed my request to perfection until further inspection in my car. Paint was uneven, nails are shaped inconsistently. First time going there today. We had a regular place a couple of times since moving here almost 2 years ago but service has been a huge issue. So we tried another place 3 weeks ago & although the people were very nice, the resulting quick to peel gel nails left us less than happy. So glad we decided to try this place today. This time I had Kathy and I believe she didn't have the best vision bc there is a bit of my toe nails sides that are missing polish. She nipped my left hand a bit and my thumb has a red spot on it now but besides that nothing hurt. There is a smudge on my left middle finger nail, doesn't look the best but it is barely noticeable. Maybe I'm just picky, but my nails were done very sloppy. I got dip powder over my real nail. They were bumpy, the shape was uneven, and on some parts she even put the dip over my cuticle? Great place for nails! I rated it a 4 bc of wait time - I was told there wasn't a very long wait but it was a very long wait. Also a 4 because they were short staffed, and I had to have nails and pedi done separately- I'm not sure if that's common practice here, but where I'm from, they do both simultaneously. Other than those cons, my experience was great. My nail tech (didn't catch his name, but he was an older gentleman) was funny, personable, and professional. He was very meticulous and made sure every nail was perfect! I had a unique color combo choice, so he joked about it, but when he saw the end result he complimented my decision and joked about it being his own. This spa is very unprofessional and racist. I went to this salon for the first time for a refill. I was initially told that it would be between $45 to $50 with gel polish. When Andy (the owner) started doing my nails, he quoted me $60. When asked why, he said because of the length of your nails, which are my natural nails. He also quoted my friend $60 whose nails are super short. However, I asked him how much was a full set and he tells me $65. Then I proceed to tell him how ignorant he sounds by saying it's a $5 difference between a refill and a full set. On top of this, another customer told me that she never pay $60 for a refill and that they were stealing from us!!! I don't recommend any African Americans to go to this spa !!!! read more

I've been to three other Nail Salons and this one by far is my favorite! Andy did the Dip Powder on my nails and shaped them exactly how I wanted them! I also love how thin they are, they look super natural and still feel sturdy. He was very nice and hilarious, never made me feel bad when I asked him to fix something. I didn't argue cause I was already frustrated with how extremely rushed I felt through my "deluxe" pedicure that lasted for only 25 min total from the time it started to letting my polish dry and how she kept getting on her phone over and over and randomly stopping the whole time throughout both my manicure and pedicure. Great experience at iSpa with Kara. I originally got a dip that didn't look like I expected (it was white vs light pink).. Kara was patient with me and started over! I've been been getting my nails done for 15+ years haha so I know how ugly it could've gotten. But she was awesome and understanding AND still did great quality.
