I went to get my lip waxed and they overwaxed towards the side of my face/lip into my cheeks. I now I have a bad case of folliculitis because my skin in that area wasn't used to the harsh waxing (never waxed my face past my upper lip). Last time it was my eyebrows being waxed too thin. This time it's my skin. (Also the wax was too hot and I was bleeding after the appointment) Definitely never going back for anything again. read more

Solar Nails Spa - It's like this on both sides of my face. I've used a hot towel and it's helped some but BARELY...and so it was WORSE. - Nail Salons Near Me - Bossier City, Louisiana

This was my 2nd time coming here and I was glad I came back. Sam did my soak off and fingernails and CJ did my pedicure.....at the same time! They both pampered me and offered me wine and I've never been offered wine any where else. This was exactly what I needed today after a king week. They are both such gentlemen and very nice. I will be back! read more

The service was good. We did wait a little, but not too long the normal. The lady's that did our toes were super nice. Overall had a good time in there and would definitely be going back :) read more

‼I GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD REVIEW‼ The lady with the glasses was very rude and nasty. She polished my toes which looked like a toddler did them. I asked for a cut down and she has my toenails uneven and she didn't clean polish off my toes. I DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE read more

The do great work. I just really dislike their removal process for acrylic. Ripping them off damages instead of soaking them off.

Amy was amazing and listened to EXACTLY how I wanted what I PAID for! They came out to die for. Simple yet and to the point! Thanks Amazing Amy!!! Kind of pricy though. read more

No customers at 10 and got me seated right away, I asked for coffin nails and they did a decent job although they were not even. Prices say 25$ but she charged 30$ I'm assuming to shape the nails..? Which I thought was odd. But all in all pretty happy with them, better salons in town though read more

Ver poor service. Very rough. Made all of my cuticles bleed. Didn't even put the nail polish all over the nails.

Just recently moved the the area from Texas. I was shopping around for nail salons and saw that Solar Nail had some great reviews so I had to try them out. Happy to say they didn't disappoint! The staff is so friendly and they don't keep you waiting for a long time. They keep all their equipment sterile and in plain sight! I highly recommend this nail salon! read more

This place is a big no for me! I only gave them two stars because there was no wait and they actually did good on my feet. I ended up getting a manicure and pedicure with a full set. I didn't even have my nails done a whole week before I lost five nails! I could tell they were already starting to come up after about two days of having them done. One was actually crooked and when I told her about it she kept saying it was because my finger... I won't be going back! read more

Never come here!!!! They don't soak your nails off like you're supposed to, they rip them off and then they cut my friends finger really bad while filing her nails. They were very rude and don't care about you. Not worth the money. read more

We were able to walk in and get pedicures with no wait time. That should have been our first sign of how things were going to turn out. Their hot water was not working and instead of heating water up quicker in the microwave they were trying to warm it up in a small coffee pot. One out of the three pedicures got lukewarm water and one out of the three got the Deluxe pedicure that was asked for, but she did not get any hot water. It was a complete mess. read more

Back for a second time. Still good service but it seems more expensive than before. It was $85 dollars for a gel manicure and pedicure. I could get that for $60 in California. They also didn't have the color that I wanted. When they substituted another color, it was brighter and a pearly color. I wasn't too happy with having to oay $85 for that. I will say they have good service. They also seem to be very clean and opened packages of cleaned tools. read more

First time here and it was pretty good. Very clean and everything was sanitized. I got a shellac manicure in the color High Mintenance (K413) by Amy who was very nice. The only negative thing I have to say is it was very warm in the room and I wish the massage was a little longer and the service itself. I believe I was only there for 30 minutes including me picking my nail color. I haven't decided if I will come back only because $35 and didn't feel pampered. read more

I just stopped in for a pedicure. I was so pleased! The nail tech (I didn't get her name) was so insistent that I relax, it was a real pleasure. She took her time and my toes look amazing. I recommend this place. Sunday afternoon is a great time to come. read more

Horrible service! Waxed my eyebrows basically completely off after I politely asked to keep them THICK. And had the nerve to say they looked better even though they were thin as a toothpick. Also they can't do nails. I left with cuts on my fingers because she was literally rushing trying to finish my nails. They have no regard for the customers' wants, they're rude & only care about making a dollar. Please go somewhere else. Would give negative stars if possible. read more

I love solar nails they do amazing with my eye brows especially Amy. It's a great place to get your nails and brows done .

The last time I went here, (months ago) I had an amazing experience! The girl who worked on my nails was wonderful! Very sweet, very approachable, easy and comfortable to talk to, and of course she did an excellent job with my nails! Because of that first experience, I definitely wanted to go back. And so I did today... and yes they are open (5/22). I will not be coming back. The people that greeted us at the door, were not welcoming, not very helpful with what we wanted and we felt judged for showing them the pictures we wanted. We were excited being able to get our nails done since salons have been closed. This was a very disappointing outing. Top of that, our nails are loose, there are gaps between my real nails and fake nails, and within the first two hours after they were done, one is cracked. So please read before going here!! I am sure you can find a more enjoyable experience else where! read more

Wow! I have been to many nail salons all over the US and this place absolutely blows them all away. The staff were so welcoming. My husband and I both went in for pedis after reading the amazing reviews. The shop was so clean and had a large selection of services including waxing and massages. They made us feel like their most important customers. I was super excited when I noticed they have children's pedi chairs. I will be taking my daughter there tomorrow! I will definitely return and would recommend this shop over any other in the area. read more

This place doesn't look like much when you first walk in but the people working here are so sweet! The First Lady I met helped me pick a color and help me find exactly what I wanted! I did not have to wait at all for a pedicure the water was perfect I like mine on the hotter side and it was perfect! The wonderful woman doing my pedicure informed me I had a toenail that was trying to become ingrown! Most places iv been to would not touch u with an ingrown toenail so I started to worry but she fixed it without any pain!!!! She was so gentle with the entire pedicure! And the manicure was amazing!!!! Exactly what I wanted! read more

Fabulous nails....love Steven!!!! The salon is very clean and nice. First time here and will be back.

Came in for a basic manicure and pedicure. Got the deluxe pedicure because I wanted to really pamper myself (I am 9 and a half months pregnant!). My first impression of the salon was nor good or bad, you can tell it's an older salon, but wasn't the cleanest it could've looked. My main concern is the equipment they use. In every salon I have ever been to, the tech has opened up new cleaning supplies/equipment in front of me so I always knew the equipment was sanitary. At this salon however they do their own sterilizing/ cleaning of the supply's..... scary honestly. The tech cleaned the foot file she used on me in my tub water!!! Eeeek! And when she did my manicure the clippers had someone else's skin on it, but she cleaned it with alcohol right in front of me. In most of the salons I've been to you get a hand/foot massage with any basic manicure or pedicure. The prices for the manicure or pedicure were not posted anywhere (not in the building or online!) and I didn't get to chose what pedicure I wanted until I was in the chair with my feet in the water. The tech gave me a book with the names and prices of the pedicures, there were no descriptions listed along with that. The deluxe pedicure was $42, I guess if I had paid $52 for the spa pedicure I would've gotten the massage. The pedicure itself was good. She did well on the bottom of my feet and the painting. The manicure was also adequate but nothing spectacular. Again I was expecting some kind of rub or hand massage but got nothing, not even any lotion!! This was my first time at this salon so I do not know if they do this but every other salon I've been to at least gives you an arm rub and lotion! All in all I will not be returning. The sanitation was suspect and I don't feel like I got my money's worth for the $42 pedicure and $20 manicure. read more

Thought I was going to be able to stick to this place for long term, but after my last visit I will not be returning. The quality of the solar refill was extremely poor, and it's not been too long after I have gotten them done and they are starting to come off and look horrid. Definitely am not coming back. read more

Terrible Salon. An elderly lady completely botched my nails. Instead of fixing them because they were lifting the told me to come back because they were too busy. 40 dollars wasted. Will not be coming back to this establishment. They are rude and very unprofessional. read more

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone was busy, but within minutes I was sat down for my pedi. The pedicure was average. Nothing special about it. But for my nails I had the best experience! I forgot her name but she was so sweet and fast and really good! She made my nails exactly how I asked for from a picture. Loved it. Would definitely recommend for getting nails done. read more

Based on the previous reviews I decided to take my daughter there for her yearly Spring Break manicure and pedicure. They did not a child sized chair but made accommodations for her size. This was the first time she's ever had a true pedicure (including the leg exfoliation, lotion massage, and a hot towel wrap!) The salon was very clean. The staff was great with her and she truly enjoyed getting pampered. When we left she told me that she wants to go to that place every time to get her nails done. Highly recommend! read more

it was my first time going there and i was absolutely disappointed. i came in with my mother and 2 sisters so all got our nails done but as we were getting them done more people kept walking in and the nail tech rushed and didn't even do them right. i paid $30 although i'm not tripping about the money i'm just saying idk if this nail work was actually worth it. i feel like they could've did a better job. usually it'll take about an hour and something to do good nails well they did them in about 30. read more

Awful pedicure!!.My feet where soaked for less in 3 mins, & just rushed through, tech didn't even put the fabric slippers on me, just started polishing, then asks do I want to dry my toes!! Really??!! WHT?? who walks out the nail salon in the winter with no shoes!! Worst will never have my feet done here again especially for $30!! I've had way better service for $20 & $25!! Sloppy polish, had to have correct it. Terrible!!!! read more

BEWARE!!!!!! Poor Service I got a pedicure with acrylic nails and paid $65. Now if am paying $65 for my feet only, they should look GREAT...NOT the case at this business. That night I had to scrub my feet more to get the soft and I get regular pedicures at home, so they weren't in bad shape at the start. The nails fell off in 2 - 4 days. Aside from the poor service, I had the displeasure of listening to the Asian women speak in of the customers badly..saying all sorts of ugly words about the Black women in the shop. One caught on to me listening; I could not control my facial expressions after hearing the horrible things that they said about their customers, who were ALL beautiful BLACK women! Just because we are Black does not mean that English is the only language that we know. DO NOT waist your money here. The will speak openly ugly about you, take your money and give you poor quality service!!!! read more

Came to get my powder polish refreshed and the lady picked the wrong color, I advised her that it was incorrect but yet she insisted that it wasn't incorrect.
