I do not recommend this business at all. I moved from CA to TX. I had gone through United Moving; they turned out to be a moving broker's company. I specifically ask if they were and was told no. So, they lied because the movers who showed up was, I Relocate You. I had them store my items for about a month until I transitioned. Therefore, when they delivered, I discovered that some of my expensive items were stolen, even my sons $300 Yeezy tennis shoes out of one of our moving bins. I also received items that did not belong to me as well, A few that I gave back to the driver as they unloaded, then I had wrong boxes delivered, in which I missed several of my items. Lastly, I put in a claim, with them for the missing $1000 computer gaming system. The insurance only covers per pound, so if you have small expensive items, you're not getting back anything. I missed about $2000 worth of items, and they tried to pay me $125. This moving process was a bad experience all the way round and I will never use them or refer anyone to their company. It is shameful for the way they so hard-working people, especially a single mother like me. It has taking me a while to write this review, in which I rarely do, but I would hate for anyone else to have the same experience as me. My recent move from AZ to CA has been a nightmare! I used a broker; Top-Tier Moving Group out of Florida, who in turn contracted the carrier; I Relocate You. According to the Dept of Transpo, Top Tier should have disclosed the carrier, which they did not. If they would have I would have never moved forward after reading all of the bad reviews. On the day of pick-up the driver repeatedly called to inform me of delays. When he finally arrived, he said he couldn't fit all my belongings into his truck and would have to come back. He returned at 9:30 PM with just his wife, and the two of them loaded my belongings onto a small budget rental truck, a process that lasted until 1:00 AM. He then told me he would be charging me extra because I would be taking up more cubic feet than originally quoted, citing that my bed should have accounted for more space. I challenged the driver about the increased charges and amount of additional cubic feet he was charging me for, as well as the new contract that lacked a promised delivery date as initially indicated by the broker. As a single, 64-year-old woman, I felt I had no other choice but to comply, fearing they would unload my things and leave and I had to be out of my condo by the next day. As it turns out, the movers couldn't fit all my items on their truck, because they had other items in there from other customers. They moved the remaining items from inside my home to the garage and said they'd be back early the next morning. I told them a cleaning crew was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 AM and I needed to turn in my keys. Despite this, they did not arrive before the cleaners and called me multiple times to delay the pick-up. At one point, they even asked if I could move my belongings to the front of my garage. The remainder of my personal belongings were finally picked up at 2 PM the following day. When I contacted Top Tier Moving group the following day, they washed their hands of any responsibility and said that once the carrier takes over, they are not responsible. The initial delivery expectation from Top-Tier Moving Group was that my belongings would be delivered in 3 to 5 days. However, the driver from I Relocate You stated it would take 7 to 15 days. The actual delivery time was a staggering 42 days from the pick-up date. Each time I called for a status update, I was given vague and dismissive responses. They repeatedly said they were "hoping to load" my items, without providing any concrete information. I finally received a text message from the driver on 7/10 and was told my items would be delivered the next day. Upon delivery, I discovered several damaged items, the most noticeable being my couch. The plastic covering was ripped off in multiple areas, revealing black marks and scrapes underneath. Additionally, one of the couch cushions was missing. My light-colored headboard was soiled with marks on the top, and my paper shredder was missing. My antique dresser, which had its mirror removed during packing, was damaged and the mirror could not be reattached. Adding to my heartbreak, my golf bag and golf clubs, which were a cherished retirement gift from AT&T, were missing. The delivery drivers stated they were not employees of either company and were just contracted to make deliveries .They explained that my personal belongings had been moved from Phoenix to storage in LA, causing them to be handled multiple times and likely resulting in the damage and lost items.They attempted to give me several items that were not mine. I informed them of the mistake, and they returned the items to the truck, although this mix-up could have been avoided by checking the lot numbers on each item they were bringing in. This entire experience has been infuriating and stressful. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and care from both the broker and the moving company has left me with missing and damaged possessions. The bait and switch of the contract from the broker to the carrier was completely shady. The increase of the overall cost of the move was infuriating because you are at their mercy to just believe them, otherwise you forfeit your deposit. I am currently in the process of filing a claim for my damaged and missing items. Additionally, I have contacted the Department of Transportation to file a formal complaint against both companies involved. Furthermore, I am in discussions with several other families who have also been victimized by these horrendous companies, and together we are preparing to file a class action lawsuit. Update! Another amazing reviewer was a lot smarter than me and put an AirTag in one of her boxes and found where they were holding our stuff (and all the other reviewers stuff!!). Lo and behold, there's our stuff, taped with bright red tape so it's easily identifiable! There's also a wood headboard in the photo that isn't mine, but it was delivered to us along with a box of baby blankets. If these are your items, I still have them! I booked this company through Extra Space Storage LLC more than 3 months in advance. Here's a breakdown of our nightmare: May 25-26: Our supposed move out date. We were taking the plane to our new home from AZ to WV. May 28: Our things were picked up. Thankfully a friend supervised but by his standards he was appalled by the movers lack of professionalism and knowledge of what they were doing. June 9: Truck came with our things in it but the driver turned around because there wasn't proof of our final payment. We wired the money and the company didn't confirm in time, they tried to force us by paying cash or money order. June 16-17: Supposed drop off date. Not happening. They confirmed our stuff is somehow still in their truck and not in storage somewhere. June 20: We finally get our things, important documents were secure. However we lost A LOT of items. Many items were broken or damaged through the move, including a portrait of my late grandparents and ALL my floor lamps. Is it possible to give 0 stars? I can't even begin to tell you how horrible my experience with them has been, but here we go: 1. They were supposed to come between 1-4 pm. No one came. No one called. No one answered my calls. My landlord was screaming at me because I was supposed to have everything out of the house so they could do a deep clean, and nothing. I was in tears. Someone finally called at like 9pm--FIVE HOURS LATER--to tell me he'd be there at 11 PM. When he got there, it was $500 more than what I'd been quoted, he had no blankets to wrap the furniture, and the tire of his dolly was broken. What should have been an easy move took him 2 hours--I was there till 1 am dealing with that. 2. He told me my things would get to my destination in about 5 days. It took 3 weeks. Not just that, but the driver called me on a Saturday to tell me he'd be there the next day. The next day I waited and waited, and at 9 pm I finally called, and he said he'd gotten a flat tire and that he'd call me tomorrow. But he didn't call me. And he didn't answer my texts or my calls. I waited all day. Finally the next day, I called again, and he answered and told me he'd be there between 5 and 7 PM. I told him he HAD to get there by 7 because I had to be at a work event. He promised, and then didn't come, didn't call. 3. When I finally got my stuff, my gorgeous floor lamp was broken, my headboard was missing, I was missing 2 boxes, and I received 2 boxes that didn't belong to me. For WEEKS I got the run around about the missing boxes (one of them had all my tax info! with my social!!)--they always told me they would call me back by the end of the day (that's their lie that they tell everyone) and that they would FEDEX the boxes to me (lies lies lies). They also said they would figure out who the boxes I'd received were meant for (their first names were on the outside of the box)--but they never followed up on that either. FINALLY the woman who'd gotten my boxes opened one up and searched for anything that had my phone number. Luckily she was honest and awesome--she helped me get the boxes sent back, but I had to do it all without the moving company's help. 4. She inspired me to go through the boxes that didn't belong to me. I was able to find a name on a prescription, search the name on Facebook, and find the people whose boxes I had. They told me it had been OVER a month, and they still didn't have ANY of their things. And she was pregnant! Without a bed! I sent them their things back, and she later told me that when she confronted them about that, they told her they had called me to arrange having her things sent. NOPE! They sure didn't! They claim they cannot reach the driver. Every day, they promise to call me back with an update, but they never do. I constantly have to call them, and sometimes they don't even answer the phone. They show no empathy and rush you to sign the contract so you don't have time to read it. This is because they are scammers. I repeat, do not hire them. They are scammers. Document everything if you're already involved with them. Keep records of all interactions, including dates, times, and names of representatives. Never move anything from this company. At moment of finalizing the deal, they will agree for all things like package , safe and guranteed delivery on time. Once deal is done and your stuff is picked up, they don't do proper packaging and all stuff is damaged. They have no own truck,,, they are keeping stuff more 2 months. Every time I was calling saying waiting for truck to come. They picked my stuff on 26 June 2024 and delivered to me by Aug 03 after thousand of calls. They damage my items and lost 4 bags with worth of $3000 and there insurance company MovingClaims giving me $95 for for my lost and damaged item. I have donated $95 to them for worst service. Update, I mailed Remy her two packages today, as the company had made no effort, attempt or even spoke to us about getting her packages, one of them was personal financial documents! Remy had received 2 boxes belonging to Anita & Glenn that she mailed their boxes to them. I had also received a ladder and golf cart that I had assumed was Remy's but they were not. Turns out the cart but not the ladder belong to Glenn; which they have not received ANY of their household goods for over 30 days, his wife is pregnant, and they have lived the greatest nightmare of anyone I have yet to meet though discovering our common connections. We are doing what this moving company is unable to do, get the right belongings to their customers. The Broker we used was Extra Space Moving & Storage, LLC based in Florida. They should also be accountable because they are sending their customers to this terrible company. How violating it is to have your vulnerable personal documents, your household (things you gathered in a lifetime of experiences that are irreplaceable), your life in their hands. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!! 1. MISLEADING - I was told the move would take 5-7 days. It took 28 days. 2. NEGLIGENT - No receipt or contract received upon pick up. Days later after requesting the documentation, pages were missing and never forwarded. 3. UNPROFESSIONAL - Throughout the month of delay I made 38 calls to several phone numbers attached to the business. They only answered once. After they realized I had found their warehouse location, I received 4 calls. 5. UNETHICAL PRACTICES/HOSTAGE - An AirTag I had placed in a box led me to the warehouse location: 13432 Raymer St. North Hollywood, CA. 91605 What I saw was disgusting! (See attached photos) Hundreds of boxes piled high, mattresses, furniture and random household items haphazardly stacked in piles outdoors. A worker proceeded to call his boss, who in turn called me with additional false promises of delivery. 6. CONTRACT VIOLATION - On day 27 I received a call from a subcontractor, not affiliated with "I Relocate You", that announced he would arrive tomorrow with my load and needed an all cash payment. "I Relocate You" never provided me with notice regarding change of required payment. This request was contrary to the initial contract agreement. On day 28 I received the load with some damaged items, some missing items, and some items that didn't even belong to me. This ordeal was an expensive, stressful nightmare that no one should have to experience. At this time, they have not offered any financial compensation for being deceptive, negligent, misleading, and corrupt. These brokers under charge you for cubic feet to get you to sign on and then hand off your belongings to unreputable carriers such as I Relocate You Inc. who add on cubic feet to increase their profits. I have damaged and missing items for which I have had to file a claim, which neither company has made any efforts to compensate me foR. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Do yourself a huge favor and rent a truck and do the move yourself for the sake of your financial well-being and the care of your belongings. Picked up my stuff in San Francisco on 7/26. Agreed to delivery to Denver on 8/12. Finally delivered on 10/4 at 9pm, almost two months late with no explanations or updates. My 65" LG C1 TV was replaced with a 40" Samsung. My PS5 and two controllers are missing. My bike's Find My tracker (bolted on, underneath a water bottle clip) was removed. Our things were packed and taken with three hours. They were then unloaded at their California warehouse until they had a truck headed to Florida. Two weeks later (I had to call them) we were told our items might be headed out soon. The only positive I can give about the experience was the driver who delivered our items. He does not work for the company and was as appalled as we were at how our items were packed in his truck. Six wardrobe/clothing boxes were on the bottom of piles. 12 of our totes were smashed. An office chair was missing a wheel, two filing cabinets were extremely dented, an antique chair was smashed, Yoder smoker missing parts, ladder and turkey fryer completely missing. We reached out about the damage and lost items and were referred to their "insurance" company. After lengthy paperwork, photographs and submission, they offered us $85. Our damage/ loss was closer to $800 so we refused and were told there's nothing further that could be done. No one from the company returns emails or phone calls. This company deserves 0 stars. I first contacted Advantage Movers ( I thought ). They advised me there was a special rate going on and if I needed to cancel I could get a full refund because at the time I hadn't sold my house yet and would not need the truck service if they purchased my furniture with my house . That was the 2nd lie , they advised me later when I tried to cancel that there was no refund. I ended up going forward with the move . I received a call 4 days prior to my move date that they were on their way to pick up my furniture , they said they'd help me pack anything I needed help with . Of course I thought this was Vantage movers, it was not, it was a company called "I relocate you ". i was quoted a certain price from Vantage Movers , they were to call to confirm my inventory the week of pick up, which never happened . The entire time the drivers were loading they kept saying if I tip them good they'll knock off some of the packing price , which I shouldn't have been charged anyway. Vantage movers told me that they disassemble furniture and upon delivery they reassemble the furniture . The drivers said that they don't do that . Another lie . Once the truck was loaded , they charged me double what I was quoted . That's when I found out that These drivers were not vantage movers and were I Relocate You movers. The Vantage Movers I contacted are actually a brokerage firm who pawns you off on other companies . My shipment left. When I arrived at my destination the shipment didn't arrive until a month later . I was not able to get a hold of anyone , finally Vantage Movers contacted them because I told them I think they stole my stuff and i was going to call the police . When I finally Received my items , most boxes were crushed , missing or someone elses items . The drivers who dropped off my stuff were not affiliated with I Relocate You , they said the boxes weren't in a warehouse , they were just tossed outside , they said it was awful , lots of crushed boxes , damaged furniture , just a horrid sight . They had opened my boxes and went through all of my things , some fragile items looked as though they took a hammer to it . I found other people's things in my boxes . It's just disgusting that these people ( animals ) are in business. The worst part is that I am missing an entire box of family albums / photos Which I'll probably never see again . So! After moving four months ago on May 22nd from CA to CO we FINALLY received some of our items. Many items were missing and most damaged. Some we have tracked like our Oculus that is now in AZ, with someone currently using it. Because of the late delivery we should not have had to pay the driver, and have an email from Max confirming that we are owed over $1,000. Here's the direct number to Leo, a dispatcher that works with them 8189278487. They never paid the driver, and we had to pay him $500. The driver wass not affiliated with them and was very understanding and nice. They have now stopped answering our calls and emails (surprise, surprise). It's funny that most ALL the items missing are valuable and things we worked hard to pay for. Whether it was willful or non-willful negligence, or full theft, i'm not sure but clearly do not care about the people they move items for. The people we have spoken with are Max, Leo, and Zoe and they do Not communicate with each other. We used Guaranteed Van Lines to hire them and they were not helpful. They promised that they would toe our car and when Guaranteed Van Lines booked us, they originally had another company to move us. That company was overbooked however, that's when they set us up with IRelocate. The price was $400 over the original price and again, they have lost most of our items. Guaranteed Van Lines also called to say they would give us expedited shipping, due to the first moving company being unavailable, but when the movers arrived they said they don't offer that. My fiancé and I went through a broker that connected us to I relocate you aka Green pelican. If you want to understand the reason for a GENEROUS one star rating, take the time to read our story. Understand first that Extra Space Moving and Storage has ONE star and that is Maria Valdez, but she is not enough for me to recommend that anyone use this company. They ARE NOT movers, they are brokers, once they suck you in and take your money they will stick you with cut rate horrible moving companies like "I Relocate You" and "AA Quality Moving and Storage". Original Quote made in April with Brandon Walker (he is a liar), estimated the move would require 509 cu ft, sight unseen. Nick( Aka Eric Monaco) in Quality Assurance increased the estimate of the move to 1052 cu ft and doubled the price of the move on June 22, again sight unseen. Neither of these estimates had a visual, only information from phone conversation. Our final move p/u date was provided on June 25th, we were told the movers would arrive on June 27th between 1-4 pm PST(two days prior to our scheduled date). I lost an entire day of work finalizing all the packing and prep work to save time and money on the move. I had preapproval from Nick at QA that the type and size of boxes was fine and made perfect sense to use all available space thus reducing the CU ft of the move. Move day June 27th. I called customer service at 2 pm to check on the status of the truck, I was told they were finishing another move and would be calling in 20-30 minutes. By 4 pm there had been no communication with me from anyone. I called customer service, they were closed, so I used the emergency text number. I texted numerous times over the next three hours and received NO communication back. The time was now nearing 7:30 pm. Finally the mover called to say he was on his way from Laguna Beach (about 45 minutes away) The movers arrived at our condo in an unmarked moving truck, they began to position the truck for loading while the Forman proceeded into the condo to begin the paperwork. He did not have the original contract, I was required to pull that up on my phone. He walked around the condo asking what would be moved, He began cursing and telling me that the quote was wrong and the move would be more like 1800 cu ft. This would mean nearly doubling the revised estimate again. He proceeded to berate the packing and the choices of boxes and sizes. He said he needed to put the small boxes into larger boxes, I said I did not want to pay for that, he said it is free. I knew this would add cu ft to the move and not save space. This was when he determined the truck he arrived in would not fit my stuff, so he re-parked it and said we would need to wait for a second truck. The truck and additional crew arrived and began work around 8:30 pm. (4.5 hours after the window promised) The foreman insisted I fill out and sign all the paper work first, I did not feel like he was going to budge on this issue, so I complied, I was stuck and the move had to continue because my lease was up. The estimate at this time written down was 1800 cu ft. The truck that showed up was a large U-Haul truck, I was walking around looking for a size on the truck and found none, I decided to measure it by stepping it out with my feet. I paced 20 feet for the container of the truck. I then looked up the max cu ft allowed on this truck, it was just under 1100 cu ft. During the move one of the feet on the TV stand was broken accidentally by a packer who proceeded to blame me for it already being broken. The foreman continued to guide the process, making sure to come and give me looks of disgust and disdain for the packing job. He continued to walk around cursing as he moved stuff. By the time the move was done it was after 10 pm. It was dark, there were no lights in the truck and no flash lights being used. The foreman was on his phone throughout the move trying to coordinate another pick up that night in Long Beach. Thus the sense of rush and get it done to get to the next place. The QA advisor Nick had stated that once the truck was loaded I would be brought in to verify the marking of how much space was used, and that the truck would be packed to the ceiling. I was never asked or encouraged to see inside the truck, nor could I have because it was so dark. There was no way of knowing how much of the truck was actually used. They did have sufficient room in the U-Haul to put two massive rolls of bubble wrap and 20-30 flat unused boxes in the back of the truck. So my stuff did not take all the cu ft. The Forman was going to stick with his original numbers. He insisted his truck was 27 ft version, but that truck does not hold more the 1600 cu ft. I saw him refigure and white out parts on the estimate and wrote 1500 cu ft I think. He accused me of taking his pen, continuing to curse and snort about any question I posed. Hiring America First moving who then hired I Relocate You was a very traumatic and terrible mistake. My belongings are being held hostage, the movers were late, they tried to take more than 50% up front payment (illegal) and I have had zero correspondence on where my things are or when they will arrive. The contract states they have 30 days to deliver and it has been almost 30 days and I have no idea where my things are. Unfortunately I've had to report them and an investigation on these companies are beginning soon. Please avoid hiring them at all costs and the headache on top of an already stressful move. Horrible company, please avoid hiring "America First Moving" and "I Relocate you Inc. ". Not only that they overcharged me 5 times the initial estimate of my move ( and the actual cargo occupancy), they ignored my calls and bullied me when they answered. Although I trusted them and paid for the overcharge yet wanted to asked how did that happen, their response on the phone was "We have your stuff, what can you do about it?". well to start this was not good and is still unfinished. I was contracted for 1200 cubic feet; I do not feel as though I 1200 CF was used in my move. I used a broker that was vetted and had a five star rating, they contracted I relocate you as my movers. when the movers showed up to my house the top of the moving truck was caved in and had a hole in the cargo space. I was told that my items would be delivered within five days. when the movers showed up they stated that the move was under quoted by a lot. The mover at my house stated to me and my husband to just load all my items and they would just charge me on the back end, without my knowledge. The movers stated that he wasn't comfortable with that, and informed me of this statement. I called the broker and they assured me that the price was the price, if I didn't want to pay more inform them to only take 1200 CF. I did and that said they had a hard time showing me 1200 CF because the roof was caved in. I ended up having to get a trailer to move the rest of my belongings. Of the 88 pieces I was quoted as taking up 1200 CF, IRY only took 45 peices. I am missing 15 of the 28 boxes they took. of the 17 items (mattress', bed frames, stand up freezer ect.) two mattresses, stand up freezer, tool boxes, pressure washer, 2 custom adult bike, adjustable bed frame, paperwork, boxes, boat motor, jet bench grinder and more damaged. missing items included cast iron skillet set, saw, tool boxes, 15 boxes, kitchen ware, a suitcase of medications, greeting cards and past Christmas cards. My pick up date was 8-22-24 it was supposed to take five days to get to AR and my delivery was 9-24-24. I was informed that IRY stored my belongings in a " storage unit" in Los Angeles while it waited for a truck. Los Angeles is about 200 miles out of the way from the path of the move. I am still fighting with IRY as they have offered me $1800 for all my damaged and missing items totaling $16,571. IRY feels this is a generous offer. IRY transferred all my belongings to wiseguyz moving company. They showed up with one person to load and unload all my belongings and my disabled husband, our daughters and myself had to help in the process. The mover said on 9-24-24 that he was mad at his company and had actually quite the Friday prior to my delivery but made my delivery in the hopes of getting paid, because he stated they were behind in his pay. so he did not treat my belongings with any sort of care. Update to my post. I finally received my things. It took 1 day shy of 2 months from pick up in California to drop off in Tucson. Upon arrival at my storage unit the driver tried to extort more money as he saw that he had to use a freight elevator. I had him get his boss on the line as there were no stairs or extra effort needed as they simply wheeled the boxes into the elevator pressed a button and wheeled them into my unit which is literally right across from the elevator on the second floor. The boss agreed with me and I was not charged. My things were in terrible shape. All of the boxes were crushed and torn. One completely fell apart when they lifted it. Who knows what they did with it. Unfortunately i Relocate You did not advise the driver to take $240 off of the $600 balance which was owed to me for them being so late so the driver wouldn't unload the truck without the full $600. Now I am trying to get my $240 refund and so far it isn't happening. It's been weeks now and I have been treated in a rude manner as they are sick of me calling and I am really over having to chase down this refund. I won't give up! read more

I don't even know where to start. We have been dealing with these guys for 6 months. They were 2 months behind in delivering my sons stuff and now they are 3 months behind in refunding the money due to us as they were well past their contract date. It is one excuse after another and all they say is they are waiting on their billing department. When you call you are automatically put on hold and sometimes no one ever answers. I have been on hold for an hour and have finally hung up. They also broke my som sons TV while moving it and waiting on that reimbursement as well. When we found these guys we were so excited as we wouldn't have to worry about moving it ourselves but we should've after all of this. You never talk to the same person either. I believe they have a generic letter they just email to me every time. i have saved the whole conversation and they will go at least a week before responding to me. Can't wait until it's final if it ever will be as I will post all of them. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use these people. Worst customer service ever !!!! read more

May/June 2024. We made a moving agreement with "Guaranteed Van Lines" who chose I Relocate You as the carrier chosen to move the household goods of my 102 year old mother-in-law from California to Texas. Everything seemed fine in the beginning, although at the time of pickup the estimate was "revised due to an increase in volume." This was even though the number of boxes was basically half of what was shown on the original estimate. However, the original salesman told us that we could expect delivery within "3 to 5 days" after pickup. That was later changed to"7 to 14 days," then again to "7-14 business days." We were told this by at least 3 different people over a 7 day period. The trip was supposed to take 3 days in transit, so when I called 3 days before the delivery date in Texas (11 days after the pickup in California), I was told the household goods were on a truck in transit and we would receive a call the day before delivery to confirm a time window. After that we received an email telling us that information was a mistake, mom's goods are still in a storage facility in California, and they are "waiting on a truck to become available to bring them to Texas." Now we have family members willing to fly to California and pick up her goods and drive them back ourselves. However, trying to call this company is a nightmare. When you call you get music on the phone and no instructions on how to leave a voice mail message. I have tried multiple times to leave a message without getting a return call. The customer service people when they eventually answer always are nice on the phone, but apparently they don't have access to the right information. And of course they don't have the ability to solve the problems. Right now we are still waiting on a call back and a response to an email we sent yesterday. I have waited up to 35 minutes listening to their music before being able to speak to a live person. Overall this has been an nightmare, and the nightmare is not yet over.
