I really love the products that this store carries, really lovely things. On the other hand I have been there twice (and parking isn't easy) only to find out they are NOT open when the sign says they should be. It is extremely irritating to a customer to make a trip to the store to find they have decided to take the day off with no note on the door. I even called before to see if there were any special instructions on their voice mail which there wasn't. I also find the staff not overly friendly which is unfortunate for a neighborhood store. I wanted to shop locally, but ended up on Amazon instead. read more

I love shopping here, just bought a rice cooker and ice cream maker. They have such cool stuff here, its fun to just window shop here too. It supports local business shopping here as well, and the people who work/own it are amazing. I think I got 15 + thank yous as I purchased the items!! Some days I walk around the store and just pretend I can afford everything in it, during this strange dreamland, a little fairy princess and a large white steed gallop around, there's rainbows and pots of gold... uhhh too much info... If you're in town, you have to come here.... Shop around buy a little treat or two for yourself (loved ones, etc)! read more

I recently registered wth m fiance for our wedding at I Leoni and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. The store is full of classy goodies and the Leoni's assist you themselves making the experience personal and fun. I'm so in love with the items we registered for that we might end up buying everything we don't get (depending on how we financially survive our wedding!) I highly recommend this store to all brides to be! REGISTER here and skip Macy's or Sonoma Williams. read more

If you need a metal mandolin, here is where you may find it. It's Home Depot for foodies. read more

One of my favorite shops in town. Great for gifts. I love shopping here at Halloween and Christmas! Service is excellent, they gift wrap for free! A lot of their merchandise can be expensive, but they usually have a couple different price points to choose from. They also have a ton of unique pieces, and can special order things for you if they don't have them in stock. read more

Went in to purchase a pasta machine. I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in the store. My family has shopped here and purchased many items from this store. They have some lovely things. One of the lovely things certainly is not the owners personality. Let me explain. I myself have been in this establishment at least three times this past November. I have walked in when there when there were as few as 2 other shoppers and as many as 5, (yes I have counted them)and each time I have walked in and walked right by the owner she has not bothered to give me the time of day. No hello, no "can I help you find anything", zip, zilch, zero from this woman. Once is an oversight, twice is questionable but three times is inexcusable. I've always felt if you have a business and you invite people into your business then you treat them as guests. I think I'll swing by a few more times to just test out the service and the friendliness of the owner. The other sales staff are very friendly and helpful. In this day and age of internet shopping I would think a store owner would go out of their way to be friendly and greet their customers. Oh, and the pasta machine, I ended up purchasing it elsewhere. read more

I went into this very overpriced kitchen ware store and specifically asked the clerk could I get a refund? I was almost sure I could find this item a lot cheaper somewhere else so I wanted to know that I could get my money back. With the, "Sure you can get a refund, just bring it back with your receipt" response from the clerk, I believed her. Turns out when I did find the item in a better store elsewhere- for 1/2 the price as ILeoni - and went back for my refund, they refused! I tried talking to the owner. She was just rude and basically called me a liar and said that since they had a sign (NEED YOUR GLASSES TO SEE IT) at the register, their word did not matter. This store sucks. read more

As a 40+ years in retail and a consumer review specialist I have never been treated so poorly in a retail store. I simply ask if I could have a discount on a product that appeared to have some flaws and the owner were rude and told me if I don't like to shop somewhere else, I will never come back to Leoni they are rude. I was a loyal customer and spent over $400 last year there. Leoni your going out of business judging by the other negative reviews you have. I treat my customers like Kings I can tell you have less than perfect customer experience and you should be closed for good and stop ripping customers off. The owners practically threw me out of the store for just asking for a discount on a defective product. This is NOT nice. Leoni will not last in this town. I'm offering them a BAD review That's 5 Negatives. I DO NOT recommended anyone shop here for the holidays. Anyplace else would be better. GOODBYE to Leoni and don;t come back to Petaluma. this review is being copied and sent to: BBB The Better Business Bureau Consumer Reports Petaluma Chamber of Commerce California Department of consumer affairs Federal Trade Commission And other official consumer protection organizations read more

Flabbergasted !!! I have spent bucks in this kitchen shop and after my experience today I will never go back !! I went in this afternoon and decided to purchase a Viking saucepan to go with my Viking steamer and risotto pan. Some of the pieces were on sale for 30% off so I thought this an opportunity to buy. This is an expensive line of cookware that starts around $200.00 and up so I decided that this would be a good time to add another pan to my collection. My husband purchased the 5.5 qt. saucepan for me as a Valentine gift. The sales lady checked the sale price and sent one of the girls down to bring up the pan which I bought at the price she charged me. After returning home a couple of hours later I received a phone call from the sales lady telling me she made a mistake and that this particular pan in the Viking line wasn't on sale. She then asked If I wanted to pay by credit card on the phone because she couldn't absorb the loss. I was stunned. Having been in high-end furniture sales for years, if any one of us ever made an error like this we let it go.. Never would you call the customer and demand payment for your mistake. It was just a 30% discount not a give away. To demand payment on the phone was rude... I will not drive all the way back to return a pan I already paid for. Instead of losing just a saucepan they lost a saucepan and a customer so it was a lose, lose situation for them. From now on I will purchase my Viking cookware on line or at "Sign of the Bear" in Sonoma. Never will I return to this store. read more

Do not shop here. They do not honor their word. The owner ripped me off when I bought something and the sales clerk said I could return it and the owner ripped me off of about $100. Beware. I lost money here. read more

Loyal customer treated rudely. Never going back. Today I went here to purchase an Oxo storage container. Picked one up and the unsecured lid fell off and clattered to the floor. Owner barked "What's the problem back here!" Got into my space, grabbed the container from my hand and said "Can I get you something?," her voice dripping with contempt and disgust. Walked out. Never going back. read more

First off, I love this store. My mother, who is a retired high-end kitchen store manager, and I have spent hundreds of dollars here, and we are both huge supporters and frequenters of local businesses. Coincidentally, we both purchased from i Lioni the same Christmas present for my husband: $68 worth of hors d'oeuvres utensils. Within a couple hours of her purchase, she returned to the store, with receipt and tags intact, and was informed that they only issue in store credit. I understand the need to guard against bad actors who might buy a Le Creuset pot at some bargain basement and then attempt to return it sans receipt. (I, too, have experience working high-end retail where this sometimes occurred.) However, with a recent receipt and tags attached, this policy is a huge strategic blunder for a small business, when other companies that sell the same products have reasonable return policies. I Lioni has, unfortunately, lost the business of both myself and my mother... over some silly little hors d'oeuvres spoons. read more

I live in SF but recently received a gift card from my co-workers to i Leoni (as one of them lives in Petaluma and raves about this store.) AlI have to say is WOW. this place is totally worth the drive plus the town of Petaluma is really great for a day trip. You would think for a specialty store their prices would be higher than most retailers, but to my surprise they were either price comparable or cheaper! I found an all clad 12" fry pan WITH lid for $99 at i Leoni and the cheapest I was able to find it anywhere else including Williams Sonoma, or online places like Amazon was $130. Great deal. Then there is the staff. I was helped for about 2 hours without the slightest bit of impatience on their part. I must have asked a million questions since I am newly married and wanting to start off my kitchen with some quality items that will last. Also, I hate pushy sales people and I never once felt pressured to buy anything. I spent $50 over my gift card allowance and came home feeling totally satisfied with my entire purchase. This place is seriously like Williams Sonoma on crack. I could have spent all day in there. Wonderful place to find high quality kitchen/ home goods that you will keep for a lifetime. Really pleasant experience. read more

Kind of a "junior" Williams-Sonoma in Petaluma, minus the foodstuffs (hint, hint iLeoni!!). Love that you can find the higher end items in this store. I usually shop here for wedding or housewarming gifts and the recipient is always pleased. My husband gave me a gift certificate for Christmas and I had a great time choosing something for our home. read more

I went to this store about a month ago and bought a beautiful ceramic soup tureen that I couldn't wait to use when entertaining family and friends. In the meantime, I put it away. When the special occasion arrived, I brought it out and was just about to put the soup in it when I noticed that there was a hairline crack that I hadn't noticed upon purchasing it. Luckily, I saved the receipt of purchase. So, the next day, I went back to the store and asked the owner, Nancy, for a refund. She was rather argumentative and said that she would never sell anything in her store that had a flaw and insinuated that I somehow must have cracked it. She said she would exchange it for another one but that there wasn't an identical one at that moment in the store. I decided that it wasn't worth the wait, so I left. I would never recommend this store to anyone, and I try to always buy locally, to help out the small business owners here in town. Her treatment of me was very unprofessional and bellicose. I believe that as a customer, I deserve respect and dignity especially if I am not satisfied with an item I have purchased. read more
