DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET WITH "I GROOM DOGS in Largo, FL!" I believe the owner, Carla, has some serious anger issues. I had a 9:30 appointment with my groomer Amanda. I walked into the shop at 9:10 and the owner, Carla, screamed at me, "we don't open until 10!" I informed her that Amanda asked me to come early and she cut me off saying, "I don't know anything about that. Nothing was communicated to me and she's not here!" I said, I'm a little early and would be happy to wait. She said, "I'm going to have to ask you to wait outside. So, I sat in my car with my two dogs and watched her lock up the shop and leave. A few minutes later, Amanda arrived and asked, "Was she rude to you?" I said, "She was so rude and wouldn't even let me wait for you inside. If you're working with this woman, you are going to lose customers." Amanda said, "I already have; I had a lady apologize yesterday because she would not be coming back after witnessing the owner being overly aggressive with a dog." Carla returned and I told Amanda to text me when she was done as Carla continue to rant. While on my way home, Amanda phoned and said she was going to have to ask me to pick up my dogs. When I got back, I told Amanda I was glad she called because I wasn't feeling comfortable leaving my dogs at this place. She showed me how she was able to shave one dog and only a stripe down the back of the other dog before being fired. Who's the professional here?" The business owner who would not allow her employee to finish the job and leave a customer with an unfinished grooming in a very tense environment or Amanda who texted me the following day with her new address and is finishing what she started today! My dogs are with her now. If Amanda was soliciting customers, she was doing you a favor and probably trying to protect animals! Amanda is a kind and gentle soul and Carla's blog is just more proof of her nasty disposition. read more
