I said "I will try to make it when I can." At 1201 I received a call from the shop asking when I was going to be there. The woman said, "I have been waiting since 1030. Are you almost here because I have to leave soon." I never promised to be there at a certain time other than their scheduled appointment which was at 12. Each of my dog's baths take at least half an hour so it did not make sense that she said she had to leave soon. Unprofessional and rude that this woman is frustrated that I did not come in earlier to accommodate HER.

We have always recommended it family, friends, and strangers. That was until this last time. Our dog came home with a nick on his neck which they NEVER texted/called to let us know. This behavior is extremely unprofessional especially since we've had such good communication with them up until this recent visit. The nick looks like a perfect groomers square was done straight to our dog's skin in which when I had to contact them after the visit they said it was done beforehand. Again, no communication was received so unsure of this statement during our dog's appointment. As a dog parent, this makes me feel uneasy about any other services that they provide. We found this nick when our dog continued to scratch the same area and our dog couldn't put his head down or comfortably sleep. When I reached out, I was given ways to keep it clean from them but this was too late as this "nick" already caused our dog to be in a pillow of shame (and still is weeks later) as well as using recommended over the counter creams from our vet to alleviate the pain. We were lucky enough that this mark did not turn into an infection! However, it is crazy that one grooming appointment has turned into weeks of pain and uncomfortableness for our dog. If we had known about this during the appointment we would have been way more at ease about the entire situation. Sad to say this, but we will not be returning and will be taking our dog elsewhere. One appointment has turned into a massive headache as dog owners. Think twice before you book with them.

In addition, the prices were very much comparable or better than most of the brick and mortar grooming establishments that I had contacted. I contacted Tammy and found her to be responsive, friendly, and she made it super easy to book. I have one 'special needs' boy who needs to be cut standing, which can be a chore. Tammy had no problem with that. She is a former veterianrian techinician and that was extra peace of mind for me. On the day of the appointment, she sent me a text to let me know she was on her way. She arrived on time and was able to pull her truck and grooming trailer right in front of the house. The trailer is self-contained and very clean. She ensured that she understood the type of cut I wanted and then greeted my dogs. They were very comfortable with her immediately and climbed right into the grooming trailer without hesitation. I was extremely pleased with the cuts. Tammy also gave me some great nutrition and care advice on an issue that no one else seems to be able to pinpoint. Her advice has really helped. I really appreciated the extra care and concern in addition to the fantastic grooming. The cute bows and bandanas were a super nice touch. If you are in the market for mobile grooming, I absolutely recommend that you give Pet Grooming On The Go a shot.

We've been going to Groomingdales for a couple years now. My dog always leaves looking absolutely adorable. He's never afraid to walk inside, which is the first sign I would look for to know how he's being treated inside. Believe me, there have been other places where he would run in the opposite direction. Here, he voluntarily walks right in. Peggy and her staff genuinely care about animals. They are all sweet, loving, and attentive to your pet. One HUGE bonus - this is a completely cage-free environment. There's a little vinyl picket fence keeping the dogs secure inside the building and away from the front door but other than that they have freedom to walk around, play, or just snuggle up on a dog bed and take a nap. It's almost like I'm sending my pooch to daycare to go play with his friends and get a spa treatment. Prices are extremely reasonable. Expect for your pet to take a few hours though because they are getting pampered with the utmost quality. They offer teeth cleaning at a fraction of the cost of a vet visit for the same results. Location could be a bit of a negative, it's in a plaza immediately off US19 so it can be tough leaving when there's a lot of traffic. What's that I'm always saying? She was immediately comfortable there, they had zero issues with her and she came home looking AMAZING!
