We need to UPDATE their rating…read more All the positive reviews are mainly for Dr Robert (Bob) Marrazzo and his daughter DVM Kimberly Marrazzo. Neither one of them are at the clinic any longer. Bob has retired and Kimberly is (permanently?) home for family reasons. At the helm are other (new) doctors. When one consults the website, you can only see the picture of 4 team members out of the 12 listed. On a recent visit my cats were treated by a DVM whose name, picture and bio were not even published on the website. I prefer to know who will treat my felines beforehand. UPDATE needed. When my set appointment was reminded by a text message it stipulated to arrive 15 minutes early to the set appointment time and to bring recent stool samples for both cats. On the day/time of the visit, receptionist was surprised to see us showing up 15 minutes early. This was apparently not necessary. Phone message needs UPDATE. In the Dr's office I was told that bringing in the feces was for sick cats only not for yearly exams. Phone message needs UPDATE. The timing for yearly visits is 30 consecutive minutes per cat. Both cats were seen in less than 30 minutes. I definitely felt that the exams were rushed. Not comfortable. When looking at the worksheet/invoice for both cats, I discovered that one cat was 12 lbs 3 ozs and the second one's weight was miraculously 0 lbs 0 ozs. This happens when you rush. It does not inspire confidence at all. After the exam I was given an information sheet listing some products that could safely be administered to the cats to treat their conditions. When trying to order these I learned that most of the products were no longer available. UPDATE needed. Inquiring on how prescriptions can be filled with online pharmacies, I was told that the online pharmacy needed to contact the vet's office directly and the prescription would be fulfilled over the phone/fax or email. On such a recent trial the office informed me they no longer provide that service and that the Rx would be mailed to me so I would need to contact the pharmacy myself. Really? This was my first visit to the Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor. Needless to say that will also be my last. The whole procedure from making the appointment to ordering medications was a total failure. I lost confidence in their setup, professionalism and knowledge.

To some extent this was expected but she grew more and more lethargic. The next morning we rushed her to the ER but it was too late. I sent a long email to the vet asking that they review their procedures. It has been 2 weeks and I have recieved no reply- nor a condolence card, as we did from the ER Vet and our pet insurance. The loss has been great and senseless.

He is the person that comes to collect you and your pet when you're ready for your appointment, he is the person that you communicate with throughout the appointment, they don't take your pet into the "back room". Your visit is directly with Dr. Hughes, not filtered through a vet tech like so many other places. We came here after a bad experience at a vet in Bayshore Plaza that required all of our visits to be recorded; we refused and they said we didn't follow their policy and procedures, like she was planning a lawsuit. Dr. Hughes is a breath of fresh air compared to places like that. We are so happy with All Creatures.

All new dogs are asked to come in for an evaluation. A human will spend a few minutes to evaluate your pup (you too possibly). AFTER the eval, you are free to qualify & clarify. Try not to embarrass your child in front of the teacher though. If all parties are amenable, the pupperoni is escorted to the play park to meet the other kids--where the big dogs play here & the smaller dogs play there. The furry one may play or just acquaint themselves with gen pup. Did I mention grooming? Logic & common sense -- so refreshing. If requested, takes place closer to pick up. Otherwise busy puppies need time to recharge and unwind - the lights are dimmed and they are chasing bunnies HoundsTown CLW & all the humans keeping an eye on your fur babies are truly passionate about their calling. Warm & kind extends beyond arrivals & departures. Some humans (perhaps all) are trainers so--you're welcome mom & dad.
