There have been numerous incidents of abuse and lack of oversight, a dog died from heat exposure, a dog being degloved, several others attacked because of lack of adequate supervision and the owner is profit oriented. My own pet suffered a bite last August which resulted in a greenstick fracture and open wounds at 7 months old. They refused to file a report OR give me information about the dog who bit him. Unfortunately I made the mistake to board him in October. This time he was take to Blue Pearl Hospital after outdoor "enrichment" with a neurological issue. Their enrichment is ABUSE! After referral to a neuro and finally an MRI he has been diagnosed with spinal fluid impinging his spinal cord over several vertebra. He is impacted for life. This woman/owner should be charged for animal cruelty not her staff. Please Please Please DO NOT let them harm your baby.

Due to my job I have to work 12 hours a day and can't leave him home. They are so understanding and accommodating where I can drop him off early before opening and pick him up right after closing. The staff is wonderful, I see the live feed and they play with all the dogs hug them, give them pets and attention. They give my pup breaks when he needs them. They know what the dogs need and so intuitive. The place is clean and never smells like animals. On the live feed you see the employees clean up right away when the dog pees or poops. The staff is so friendly and look like they're happy working there. They truly care about the dogs and owners well being. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Amazing job. Oh and by the way they have a splash pad for the doggies who love water!! They have big dog and small dog play areas. Each have an inside and an outside and the dogs can come and go in and out when they want. The prices are super reasonable and great value packages. I can't recommend them enough. Anyone working super early or super late and need a daycare or boarding this is the place. A lot of my coworkers bring their pets here.

This was our first time ever leaving our 4 dogs so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The Pocono Pet Nanny's Bed and Biscuit is probably one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever seen.There are several themed rooms along with beds, TVs and music playing. There is a fenced in area that the dogs can go out to run and do their "business" which worked out well for my dogs since they are used to a fenced backyard. The check in process was great. Jan is very organized and takes lots of notes on each dog. She allowed me to bring in our dogs' bedding, crates and bowls which was fantastic because our dogs were so used to their own things. I will admit I was crying when I left the dogs  but knew I made the BEST decision leaving them with her. Throughout my trip I received texts and pictures updating me on each of my dogs. Never once did I question if my dogs were okay: I knew they were in the best of hands!  Thanks to Jan and her staff, my family and I were able to enjoy our first trip ever. I had such peace of mind! Prior to booking our dogs' stay, Jan was great at communicating with us and never hesitated to answer my (many, many) questions. I was a bit nervous because our one dog is very food aggressive. Jan had no problem taking him in and even fed him in a separate area. She and her staff are "pet people" and truly have love and compassion for animals. Our family never traveled because we did not want to leave our dogs, but I have a feeling our visit with the Pocono Pet Nanny might change things for us. I've been seeing Dr. Cowden and his staff for almost 3 years now for both my dog and cats needs…read more They are affordable, kind and accommodating. Last year when my pitbull Ollie was acting odd, Dr Cowden helped diagnose him with late stage lymphoma and his staff was very empathetic and kind during that difficult time. They also assisted with getting my new dog bandit chipped, vaccinated and cleaned up. He also needed dental work and a small growth removed which they helped with too. Additionally they have made sure to be kind and caring with my cat Fern as well. I truly don't understand the negative reviews on here, but I have bared witness to the types of people who yell at the staff and treat them poorly. I have seen them handle a customer who came in 3 hours late for a grooming appt who got upset because she "didn't know" she had to drop off at a certain time. Which makes no sense. So I can imagine why those people might be upset and submit a negative review. I can't speak for everyone who has been here and what kinds of service they receive, but for both my dogs and my cat, we have received excellent affordable care.

My dog, Kash, has been attending Advantage Pet Care…read moreCenter since February 2025, and what started as a trusting relationship turned into a complete nightmare. Kash has been bitten twice by another dog while in their care. The second incident was so severe that he required surgery and has a difficult recovery. After the second attack, I read more reviews -- and to my horror, I discovered that another dog was recently paralyzed while under their care. That's when I knew I had to pull Kash out immediately. This facility is dangerously mismanaged. They allow medium and large dogs to play with small dogs (see photo proof), and it's clear they have far too many dogs and not nearly enough staff to supervise safely. Several employees even admitted that a particular dog should have been re-evaluated for aggression, yet that dog continues to attend daycare while other, well-behaved dogs are kept on rotation to accommodate it. That speaks volumes about their priorities and management. To make matters worse, some of the "positive" reviews I've seen online are encouraged or written by employees, which is extremely misleading for dog parents trying to make a safe choice. I'm heartbroken that Kash went through this, and I wouldn't wish it on any other dog. Please, do your research before bringing your pet here, look at reviews on all platforms. This place needs to be investigated and shut down before another innocent dog gets seriously hurt -- or worse
