We are overjoyed to find this place! A local groomer we were using had some issues with trimming too close plus an appointment was scheduled out 2 months! Our poor mix just needed a trim to cool down. We were scheduled at Otto's within a few days. The old place kept her for 6-7 hours. Just 2 hours at Otto's. And what a great job Otto's did! After almost 3 years time for a review. They do a great job on our 2 little Shih Tzu's. Jack never looked more handsome than this week when he came home meticulously groomed. They are very knowledgeable as well and take into consideration any special needs your dog may have. An example being they used a fan and not a blow dryer on our older dog who has a heat condition. My husband and I along with our two yorkies have been displaced from our home since the hurricane and our puppies were in need of grooming and after some research we chose Otto's. They are fantastic, we are extremely pleased with how they look and how they were cared for while at Otto's. Not only did they the girls get one of the best cuts they've ever had, but their nails and feet were trimmed perfectly. Needless to say Maggie and Kady were proud of their new look and showed it off. When we picked them up, with their new bandanas on we were given the sweetest Christmas ornament with a lock of their hair inside and name painted on the outside. Also had a pretty ribbon and they will be hanging on our Christmas tree for years to come. Extremely satisfied with the knowledge and experience and highly recommend Otto's. We've been bringing our dog to Pretty Paws for several years, and she gets excited whenever she gets out of the car and realizes where she is. Jen does a great job on giving her the perfect cut we are looking for, even with our pup who doesn't like getting bathed or brushed. They treat her with love as if she was their own, and it shows in the great work they do and my dog's comfort when going there. read more

Hard one star. Charged me for ear cleaning then said they couldn't do it that day and had to give me voucher. Then once she saw she cut my dogs fingernail to short bc blood was all over my hand she took the dog back and did a 30 sec ear cleaning. Horrible 1st experience read more

Where to start, after bringing my golden doddle here was the worst decision ever. My dog was not only razor burnt all over her body but not groomed correctly. Most of her was shaved horribly but the groomer also left long hair on legs, tummy, under arms & legs, oh what a mess. After bringing my golden doddle back to show the groomer she rolled her eyes & walked away. (Horrible) another groomer came out & was in disbelief and offered to try & fix my golden doddle the next evening at 5:30pm also told me she would still be uneven cus she couldn't use clippers. Not one time did the original groomer nor the owner tried to make this right. After I spoke on the phone with the owner she was stating she didn't want to give me a refund. I insisted on a full refund & after several conversations back & forth with sending her photos of my dog she finally agreed to give me my funds back. No I was not offered my vet bill to be paid. I wouldn't recommend anyone that loves there animal to come to this place. Shame on the lack of ownership & employee. Pictures to follow. Please shut this place down. I will be going to the top to see this place shut down. Love your pups & don't take them here. read more

I took my 3 yr old shih-tzu mix here for the first time. I got an appointment right away. They were so nice and accommodating. Sage looked so handsome when I picked him up. Definitely the best getting he's ever gotten. I can see both of my fur babies getting groomed here for years to come. read more

Update #2 (9/12/18): Won't be coming here anymore. Wish I could now rate this place no stars. Once again the experience we had was terrible and my dog was injured during his groom. And no one decided to say anything about it. Every 2-3 months during summer months, my dog is shaved (no double coat). Apparently whoever groomed him this time hit his snout with the clippers and took a piece of it off. And before this full shave, my dog had rolled in poop and we came here to get a bath. There is no menu of services online, and I asked no less than 4 times what comes with just a cleaning. The girl in front had no idea and kept saying she'd ask for me. So I wait there expecting him to be done in 30 minutes. So I go back to the car and wait. Keep in mind no one has given me any info. After a beat, I come back in and ask how much longer. Some groomer in the back RUDELY states that the basic option is a bath, ear cleaning, and nail trimming and that getting less wont make the price cheaper. Seriously? Money wasn't an issue and that's just insulting to assume I didn't want to pay. read more

*Update* ownership changed it is now Otto's Pretty Paws and they are still wonderful, and treat my anxious old dogs very kindly!! Also, they are taking all Covid precautions possible They're kind to your pet and you, and are talented as well. Used to take my dog when it was Lisa's. It was really good then. Took my 2 dogs about 5-6 weeks ago, terrible.....dogs didn't even look like they were groomed. The hair was uneven and just had to cut my one dog's nails because the nails were growing into his pads. He has been groomed every 6 weeks for over 10years, and every groomer always says how he is so easy to groom. No way his nails could have grown that long in six weeks. They are usually 1-1.5 inches long, and now-2.5-3 inches. Poor guy, he was in so much pain. Never going back! read more

I've been taking my Siberian Husky there for a few years now. The groomers there do a very professional job and the dog looks great. One of the best things is the price. Other grooming places charge by weight and my dog is very large and Pretty Paws is much cheaper and you get a discount if you pay by cash. Took my baby schnauzer there because I heard from others that they were the best in the area due to taking such good care of pets. I absolutely loved the haircut my little baby got but the welcome I received was beyond words. I met the groomer Jenn who was amazing! My louie never looked better and she took such great care of him, but the front desk receptionist, apparently the owner and not for very long from what I heard, did not understand at all what I was explaining to her about the haircut I wanted. You would think owning a pet salon that the owner would have some knowledge of what an animals haircut should be! When I picked my baby up, I thanked them and they pretty much took my money said thanks and hurried me out the door. Love this place! I'm very particular about the way my dog gets groomed, and Jennifer nailed it. He looked great and didn't seem overly stressed when I picked him up, which says a lot about any animal facility. I brought my 8 month old yorkie/poodle mix in for grooming on Saturday July 12th. I told the groomer I did not want him shaved or cut close. I was called Bailey was ready and much to my horror he was led out to me on his leash and SHAVED. The groomer asked me if he wore a collar all the time and I explained he only wears that while outside and its actually cloth. He does not wear anything in the house. She said he had alot of knots. If there was a problem why did she not call me when I explicit instructions about the shaving. This was the first time I brought my dog in. I actually used a coupon and paid $33.00 for the CUT. I will not bring my dog back or recommend this salon. If the groomers do not listen to the customers why bring them in? read more
