Two long stainless steel bars and a couple booths, service is on heavy butcher paper. Get ready to get your hands dirty. One of the few places in the OBX that will shuck oysters in front of you, and slip you an extra if you're nice. The steamed or fried seafood is top-notch. The owner is a commercial fisherman, so you're eating local and fresh. These folks know how to run a fryer (and when to change the oil), and it shows. The seasonings are on point, the sides are simple and perfect. The Hush Puppies have a brown sugar dipping sauce that is just deadly. I could go on, but you get the idea. 5- 1/2 Stars. read more

With an outrageous name like "I Got Your Crabs", you would think that this is some funky touristy joint capitalizing on hot OBX summers. Thankfully, the food proved me wrong with this being one of my more favorite meals during my short trip here. The seafood tasted fresh and clean, with the seasonings being a good compliment. Service was incredibly friendly with the right balance of checking up on you when you need stuff. Though it was a random weekday, the restaurant was still quite busy with tons of people ordering takeout and a good number dining in. Another tik tok find! We came in at 4pm on a Friday and it wasn't too busy, we were seated right away. We sat at a booth with paper on the table and ordered crab cakes and 2 medium crabs! They gave us a medium crab on the house and they were delicious! we completely enjoyed our meal and was probably one of the best we had all week! We lived in Kill Devil Hills for 2 years and have been coming to this place since 2017. You will not be disappointed! The freshest seafood and they shuck your oysters right in front of you. Oysters are huge and prices are great. One of my favorite raw bars still and the staff are so nice and remember us. I would not go anywhere else for blue crab. My favorite when I come here would the oysters, clams, oyster chowder and of course shrimp and their flounder a la carte. I love this place! The past three years I have gone to the OBX we come here. Their staff is friendly and they have great seafood. I've gotten their steamed shrimp and the fried oysters - both of which cooked perfectly. The batter on the oysters compliments the taste of them. They have amazing waffle fries too! Went to "I Got Your Crabs" in the fall of 2023. Cozy little place that I may have passed over if not for the positive Yelp reviews so, gave it a try and was not disappointed. Might be the best steamed crabs I've had. Sourced locally, perfectly steamed, nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and adequately attentive. Also had local oysters on the half shell which were cold and fresh. Liked this place so much that we had lunch here twice during our three day stay at OBX. Why did I eat at this place two times in one day? It's because it was a amazing. So we stopped in for lunch and noticed that they had some excellent social distancing seating. So we grab two seats at the bar where there was lots of space between the diners. Staff had masks on other diners had mass when they walked in so we felt very comfortable. I ordered the blue crab nachos and hubby ordered the fried shrimp sandwich. I also ordered shrimp by the piece. They sell shrimp for $.75 each. The shrimp were huge. Hubby enjoyed his fried shrimp sandwich (giant fried shrimp) served on a bun along with fresh fried french fries. My blue crab nachos came with some sort of a cream sauce, some other condiments and they were all served on top of freshly fried wonton chips. It was a very creative way just serves blue crab. Service was amazing. The staff was very attentive. I picked up a to go menu for future orders. It time for takeout dinner and yes we did take out from this place. I got 2 pounds of steamed shrimp. We also ordered the fish tacos and more fried shrimp sandwiches. We were taking all this food to our friends house and everyone loved the food. For takeout food, it was fresh and hot.
