Whew I just completed and gained the certification for passing the 6 week EMT course! (if any of…read morethe teachers/ staff see this, thank you for everything!) - The teachers were very supportive and willing to work with you individually to help you succeed. (For the first week, they kept on reminding us that we can go talk to them for help if we are struggling at all haha). - They encourage all students to ask question no matter how dumb you think that question is. As a person who is very detailed, I asked a lot of clarifying questions and I never felt uncomfortable doing so. - As most of the teachers are/ were experienced higher level EMTs (paramedic, fire fighter etc.), they shared many stories along with the lecture to make them more applicable to real life and engaging! - Students were very diverse in culture, age range, and goals. Some were students who just graduated high school and some were in their 30's! Some students' goals were becoming a nurse, firefighter, or doctor/ surgeon. It was fantastic getting to know each other's goals and stories :) - Note: 6 week course was quite demanding and required many hours of self-studying (to review or read ahead before we were given lectures). Every Wednesday was a day off so we were able to catch up and study whatever we needed. Don't worry though, it's not too bad if you study with others :) Final thoughts: 10/10 would recommend Tips: study anatomy and physiology beforehand (it helps a ton although is not required to succeed)

So first off if the instructor sees this please know you were fine, it's the format of the class…read morethat the organization did that created the issue. That's the only reason there's any stars at all. I'm sorry but I really need to review this class and Red Cross needs to not use this location until it can be fixed. (Anaheim LOCATION) They do not separate BLS from the regular CPR for civilians. And it was NOT good. There was not enough equipment for everyone (including the BLS professionals). It was extremely rushed. The children, infant and First Aid portion was rushed to the max. I have taken a how to on tourniquet before and it was not enough information given during this part. I'm a civilian and I'm not prepared even though I'm now technically certified. I literally need to retake. There was no skills review section for civilian which is concerning, doesn't Red Cross want certification to mean anything? My husbands class at another location had a skills review. And it wasn't rushed like this. The BLS test was being administered at the end when civilian video was going on. It was difficult to follow the video with the q & a from the BLS. Plus the stop start and not finishing parts of the video make it extra hard to follow. And I'm assuming taking a test with video blasting isn't great for the professionals. Note for content to Red Cross, why doesn't the anaphylaxis portion tell you to use the opposite leg for the second dose of epinephrine? That's basic information and as someone who carries epinephrine I'm actually angry Red Cross doesn't include that information?! It's literally dangerous. Don't include it at all if you can't do it properly. *Edited to add I did NOT sign up for the one that says combined. I signed up for this " ARC Adult Child and Infant CPR AED and First Aid Full Class". No BLS mentioned.

That's exactly what the HVAC program at UEI College offered me: not just technical training, but a controlled detonation of potential turned into skill. From the very beginning, the instructors didn't waste time with fluff. They were professionals--battle-hardened from the field--who spoke the language of compressors, refrigerant flow, voltage drops, and pressure diagnostics with the ease of a symphony conductor leading an orchestra. And like any good alchemist of air and temperature, they expected excellence... and instilled it. What stood out most was the balance--equal parts theory and hands-on application. Wiring a thermostat, rebuilding a condenser unit, calculating superheat--all of it felt less like coursework and more like shaping a fine explosive: delicate, exact, and beautiful when it all comes together. And the EPA certification? Secured. Career services? Unrelenting. They didn't just train you and shove you into the world--they armed you, with opportunity and confidence. UEI didn't give me a job. It gave me a skill set sharp enough to carve my own path. And that, dear reader, is far more valuable than any temporary safety net. If you're ready to take control of your future, to learn a craft where every degree matters and every wire has meaning--then this is your battlefield. And trust me... it's a glorious one.

Finding one with quality instruction and great owner/operators like this is REALLY a rare gem! 1) From the front desk to the dance floor with GREAT instructors, this place is PROPERLY staffed! 2) The facility is beautiful, functional, and equipped. Classes are fully separated, sound systems are great, and they keep the studios nice and COOL even in the summer for all the hours you'll be sweating it out while you learn. 3) Class format and teaching style is second to none to get you to your goals fast, and learn more progressively, to build competence and confidence. 4) If you need to change before or after work, there are even ample restrooms (which are very clean) for the volume of customers they have before and after class. There's even a professional scheduling/enrollment/payment system for classes. What's the alternative to this place? Big name chains, you KNOW who they are. Cramped JUMBO single-studio room with 2-5 classes happening in the same room, packed over crowded floors you can't even move around on treating you like you're cattle, different genres of music shooting out of cheap floor speakers from all directions of people learning different material concurrently in the same room, sweating it out in 90 degree rooms where they frequently claim the air conditioning is broken to keep their utilities/overhead low. You can't make this stuff up folks lol. I've been to 4 separate studios in the Inland Empire in the last 5 years besides this place, and I SWEAR all of these things have been re-concurring themes in our community. Some were chains, some were not. Arthur Murray was born in 1895 and so were some of these places, that's all I'm going to say lol.

Great place to go if you like to social dance! I've had so much fun everytime that I've goneread more
