My son had a great time. I signed him up for the Jr Game Design class. He got to show me what he created every day. How he created it I have no idea. I don't know how hard the program was to learn. He just showed me what he completed each day. Which didn't seem like much. I guess if he had fun that's all that matters. The reason it isn't a 5 star review is two reasons: the scheduling and the safety. The classes are only offered during weekdays and business hours. If you work an 8-5 it's hard to schedule a class. I noticed the reviews are geared towards homeschooled children as an extra circular. As far as safety, no one checks ID when you take your child. There was one day when I didn't pick him up, my husband did. Well they had no idea who he was. No one seemed concerned. Didn't feel safe. Price wise, it's not cheap. I paid full price. Not sure if others get special funding but I didn't. So be mindful it's a good activity with a hefty price tag. read more

My daughter is a kindergartener enrolled in a charter school homeschool program. I first learned about STEM Center from our vendor list and was excited to find out that it was only 20 minutes away from our house. My Kindergartener has been taking Early STEM with them for 2 months already. I was suspicious at first because the classes were short (45 minutes) so I was curious how much she would benefit from the program, especially being a young, shy kid she is with little exposure to STEM topics before. It only took one day to convert her into a fan of her new program. The classes follow a curriculum, but students are allowed to add their own creativity to their work. She learned how to build, count, write, measure, weigh, and so many new skills! She had so much fun learning new topics every week that she wouldn't stop talking about her experience to everyone she knows! Mondays become the day that she looks the most forward to because of that. I must say the best part of STEM Center is their staff. They are very friendly and passionate about their teaching. Everyone I have spoken to, from the owner Melissa to the manager Frida, and to the instructors Miss Armie and others, everyone is always so patient and welcoming to us and the other families. I am very grateful to find such a high quality program that truly cares about the students and inspires them in every way. I highly recommend STEM Center USA and hope everyone enjoys the same! We've been attending the STEM center in Rancho Cucamonga since August, and I can't say enough good things about it! My kids, in 1st and 3rd grade, absolutely love it here. My 3rd-grade son looks forward to his class every week and has been having such a great time learning the fundamentals of coding and building robots. It's incredible to see his excitement and growth in these areas! My 1st-grade daughter started with a class to learn STEM terms and building models with brainflakes and has since moved on to a beginner class where she's building LEGO structures and learning to code. It's so rewarding to watch her skills and confidence grow. They have a 3:1 students to instructor ratio to ensure that each child gets plenty of individual attention, but what really stands out are the instructors. They're not only kind and wonderful but also incredibly supportive. They strike the perfect balance--encouraging independence by letting the kids troubleshoot and work on their projects, yet always stepping in to help when needed. If your child shows an interest in STEM, this is absolutely the place to be! I highly recommend STEM Center USA. My son did a class once a week from Sept 2023-May 2024, he did one of the week long camps in July and now both him and my daughter are doing a weekly class since September 2024. I couldn't be happier with the class subjects and the teachers. My son has learnt about building, beginner coding and will soon start beginner robotics. If your child loves science and engineering then this is the class for them. It is so good for their brain and development. My son started in the Fall of 2022 and it is the one activity or sport he has continued to go to; it is a testament to the subject matter, the staff, and the environment. We are thrilled with the results and happy with the value STEM USA offers to families. He has completed many different courses and we hope it stays with him as he transitions to middle and high school. The pickup and drop off is super easy with a warm atmosphere. I recommend the 20-class package to avoid the monthly bill which helps the overall experience from a cost perspective. We love this place! It's great for kids to learn all STEM concepts in one class. The teachers, director and owners are all amazing, very helpful, understanding, and super sweet to the kids. The founder is involved and seems to have little to no experience or understanding of educating youth. My son has been taking classes and summer camp classes for over a year and a half and still loves it! He loves learning hands on and the instructors are so kind and great with kids! My son is in second grade and he doesn't get much STEM in the public school setting so it is a great supplement!!! My daughter wanted to take classes with her big brother, she started about 4-5 months ago after she turned 5! The team was great about assessing her and allowing her to make sure she could handle the class and have fun! She did great and they know she likes art so they will let her draw pictures if she finishes early and try to relate it to her topic that day! I really think that STEM Center USA is a hidden gem!! My husband and I searched for a good STEM program for our son, for quite a while. Many programs were in the OC or the Valley. But when I saw that STEM Center USA was going to open a branch in Rancho Cucamonga, I was so excited! We live in Eastvale, which is only 20 minutes away. Before the RC center opened, Lavanya (one of the owners), gave my son and I a comprehensive tour of the Claremont center. She took the time to answer all of our questions, discussed the curriculum, and addressed our goals for our son. Our son is in a robotics club in school, but we wanted him to learn the fundamentals of robotics and coding. And STEM Center USA, has a phenomenal program for this. Our son started his classes in Summer 2019. One of the best things I really appreciate about STEM Center USA, is that each child is able to pick the class that interests them and learn at their own individual pace. The ratio of instructor to student is also one of the best that I have seen. They were also very flexible working around our son's other extracurricular activities. My son has been very fortunate to learn VEX from Melissa (the owner). He always looks forward to his 2-hour session on Saturdays. Melissa is an engineer who is very knowledgeable and is great at communicating and interacting with kids. At the end of the session, our son gets to show us what he's done for the day with his robot. The kids are also required to write a summary of what they did. Melissa is always available to answer our questions and talk about the plan for the following weeks. Gio and the other instructors who work with Melissa at STEM Center USA are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. A Summer Camp is also available and in the spring, they will be holding "Roboreka" (where the kids can show off their cool robots and have them compete against each other). I would definitely recommend this place to all of my family and friends. My son can't wait to learn as much as he can from STEM Center USA!:) read more
