She's performed at a venue before the pandemic and now she's performed online. This has given her so much more confidence. It is such a delight to hear her play and I know she enjoys it because I never made her. I know however, that some parents expect a certain measure of practical piano progress in their children and if you're looking for that, Michelle is great! She works with kids to help them practice on their own and assigns light homework to keep them directed. Michelle offers online instruction and also in-home instruction but with very strict infection control regulations. She is very cautious and cares about not spreading disease. What I appreciate most is that she actually coaches. She's not just running you through scales and calling it a lesson.
