Overall, I really liked this place. It was one of the cheapest hotels I could find in the Montmartre area, and it exceeded my expectations based on the price I paid. Honestly, when you're in Paris, you shouldn't be spending much time in your room anyway....
The best thing about this place is that it's just one flight of stairs away from the Lamarck-Caulaincourt metro stop. The location is fantastic; safe and walkable. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, and it's just down the hill from the Basilica Sacré-Cœur.
The 24-hour attendance was nice, but you do have to leave your key each time you exit which could be a little annoying. Not all of the desk attendants were friendly, but most of them would take a moment to help with directions or give recommendations.
I thought the hotel and room were clean, and the decor was fun and quirky. From the 5th floor we had a nice view from our window, and apparently from some rooms you can see the top of the Basilica. For a large city, I didn't think it got too noisy at all.
My only complaints would be that you have to pay for breakfast (a bit overpriced) and the wifi was terrible (at least on the 5th floor). Also, I think they'd be wise to invest in some shower curtains before the hotel is flooded out.
I'll definitely stay here again in the future. If you like to spend your time in Paris wandering around and sight-seeing, this location makes that really easy. read more
