My mom and I stayed at Hotel L'Esturgeon during our trip. It's so close to the train station, so…read moretraveling (without Uber) was super easy! I'd say it's about a 20-minute drive to Paris, but we opted to take the train to save money. We even took the train to the airport on our last day (which was so foreign to us because there's no train system where we live). It was so easy to walk everywhere, whether it was to the grocery store, restaurants, or just to admire the scenery. The hotel is family-owned and a small business. The staff were so friendly, and at one point during our stay, we were the only guests in the hotel! I really LOVED our stay. The restaurant is sturgeon-themed. The lobby seems very small, but there is a really nice restaurant inside. The rooms are on the upper floors, so they're very quiet. Even though it didn't look like much from the outside, the rooms were incredible! We shared a room with two twin beds, and there was plenty of space (even though rooms in Europe are smaller than in the U.S.). There was a Nespresso machine, a decent-sized television, a mini bar, FAST WiFi, and a nice view of the river next door. I believe we paid around 109 euros per night, and this was SO WORTH IT!
