Booked this hotel at the last minute via Trivago (which is a super helpful website, BTW!).
I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She was polite as I tried to check in with my lousy Tarzan-French. Fortunately, she spoke excellent English. And within minutes I was settled in my room. The room wasn't what I'd call deluxe, but it was definitely clean and comfy, and it had twin beds, a decent size bathroom, free WiFi, and a television with international channels. So for the 150 Euros I spent for one night, I certainly got my money's worth.
What makes this hotel Yelp-worthy is that it's centrally located in 5th Arrondissement (aka the Latin Quarter). You're just a short walk from Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, Hotel de Ville, and plenty of other tourist attractions. The hotel also has a number of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood for lunch, sandwiches/crepes to-go, and supermarkets (in case you need to buy any toiletries, water, and other travel essentials).
All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return here the next time I'm visiting Paris! read more
