I've been to Paris a few times, but this is the nicest hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in.
Located just off Avenues Marceau, it is in a quiet street. However it is only 5 minutes' walk away from the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe and adjacent Metro stations.
The rooms are quite small, which is the norm in Paris. However they are very clean and well laid out. The bathrooms are modern and fitted to a very high standard.
The walls are quite thin so there is some noise from the corridor, but nothing drastic.
Breakfast is self service, continental style, but there is enough to keep you going till lunchtime.
Special mention should be made to the receptionist, a lovely Frenchwoman with good English. She was very helpful and friendly.
The doors open with proper keys, which need to be handed in to reception when you go out for the evening or day. I found them a bit difficult to navigate at first but there is something quite charming about this.
The hotel was very reasonably priced for Paris at around 140 Euros for a room. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. read more
