This boutique hotel is near Gare Montparnasse train station, and so metro and bus lines are convenient. It's a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants to choose from including authentic creperies, cafes, brasseries. A grocery/housewares/clothing store, Monoprix is nearby with a Starbucks and quick sandwiches and pastries. The hotel faces a busy street, but with the A/C on and windows closed we slept well on the comfy bedding. Our other room faced away from the street. We didn't try the breakfast, available at extra charge or included in certain rates. All of the hotel employees were very nice and went out of their way to help us have a great stay. They spoke French and English (maybe other languages, too). Paris hotels all have small rooms, but these were nice, and we had a closet for storage. There are a couple sitting areas in the lobby, with an honor bar (you pay a little) for coffee and drinks. Familiarize yourself with the meaning of stars in Paris (service levels). This hotel was 3 stars and was a very pleasant stay. read more
