Then, about 25 years ago, I had some health issues that required me to stop smoking. I tried everything--patches, pills, white-knuckling it, and more. I tried everything I could think of. I'd heard of hypnosis to stop smoking but didn't believe it would help. After many failed attempts on my own, a friend referred me to Drake Eastburn. By that time, I was desperate, so I decided to give hypnosis a try. And I have never smoked again! Really, it's amazing how easy it was. There wasn't the constant struggle or overwhelming cravings I had experienced before. I wasn't ripping people's heads off or reaching for food to hide the cravings for a cigarette. I just didn't smoke. It was like I never had. In that one session, something shifted, and it stayed shifted. Hypnosis is amazing, and so is Drake. Every once in a while I'll drive 250 miles to see him for things like anxiety, stressful life transitions, and other personal challenges. And each time, I leave feeling better. In complete desperation, I decided to try Drake's smoking cessation treatment, though I was very skeptical and almost positive it would be a fruitless effort. I am happy to say that I could not have BEEN more wrong! Immediately after a session I'm in a much calmer state and this is with me entering in at a high level of panic & despair. Later into the evening I notice more improvement and by the following day my mental and spiritual state resumes to an even higher level of functioning than my normal.
