I was on the waiting list for a restorative yoga class, and often if someone doesn't show up, by the time the waitlisted people are notified, it's too late to get there on time. So I decided to just drive down there and see if there were any vacancies. The teacher who was set to lead the class was extremely rude and basically told me to leave. Although everyone who signed up showed up for the class, there was clearly enough room to fit in another person, and I was there plenty early and no one would have needed to rearrange their mats for me to fit in. Besides being snippy and very disresptectful in telling me to leave, she also stood in the lobby area and watched me as I was putting on my shoes. She said that was because people have taken the items for sale from there. I was in such disbelief that I contacted the studio owner about what I perceived to be behaior based on race. I could not have been more shocked when the studio owner then responded to me by telling me that she had contacted the teacher about this incident and the teacher said she was not a racist. I will definitely never go there again.

Pricy but most reformer classes are. Yuan was my instructor and bc of her, I won't be back to try a different class or instructor. It was so bad. I felt like she knew a great deal about Pilates but not fitness or anatomy I'm general. I'm not a Pilates expert by any means, but I do work in fitness and consider myself to be pretty fit. I was so belittled with her passive aggressive comments throughout class. Everything from "you're fit but not Pilates fit" to "this is not for everyone" came out of her mouth. I felt like she thrived on making people feel small around her. I was definitely not the only one uncomfortable. Pilates is for everyone and so is all of fitness. Do yourself a favor and go to Boost Pilates instead.

Then you would get the next two classes, but then when you go to book the third you would have a problem if it were within a few days of your next billing date. I cancelled my membership because of not liking to get ripped off but of course they had a reason to charge me again since I didn't give them the complete thirty day notice. I would recommend not using them if you don't like to waste your money.

Overall this was a great party and I know this rec center offers so much more - basketball courts, swim lessons, a gym, and more.

The drive through the entrance to the parking lot was scenic and well marked. At the lake we met Grace and Wes who outfitted us with life jackets and made sure we knew where to go. We also saw a map of where not to go. They are asking for people to not go near the dam, but that wasn't an issue as there is a ton of open space to explore. The lake was quiet, scenic, and beautiful! Without jetskis, boats, etc we were able to hear birds and fish jumping in the water. The sounds of nature really made it seem like an escape that would only be experienced much further away. The two hours flew by, and we are already planning another trip back. Awesome morning 5 minutes away from Parker.
