Rating: 4/5 Friend recommended me this spot since I was at the Fair Park area. I saw quite a hype in this small shop, but I am not sure if I like it as much. My drink had an extra 1g of matcha but I didn't taste much matcha from my Matcha Madness. But I have to say the strawberry syrup is solid tho! Perhaps the strawberry syrup kinda overtook the matcha flavor, maybe that's why I don't taste as much? Anyways, I would like to go back again and try for the second time and perhaps update my review.

Honestly, some of the best Matcha drinks I've had in DFW. My friends introduced me to this place and I can definitely say I will be back! To start it's located in a tucked away area that has a cute charm to it, and the ambience inside is very nice and chill. The drinks are also delicious. I got the jasmine Matcha and it wasn't overly sweet and had a strong Matcha flavor. I will say it's on the pricier side, but with the quality of items and taste I'm OK with spending a few more dollars on it. The barista's were also super kind and helpful anytime I ask questions. Can't wait to be back!

Quite pricey matcha and honestly the hype didn't match the vibe. Conveniently located though, which is a plus. Service was fast and courteous, but where are the seats? ‍ Also, if parking isn't available right in front, you'll have to pay for parking nearby. Could be better overall.

Such a cute place, line was almost out the door but they move fast. I got the Matcha Madness which is a strawberry matcha, the strawberry they use is so good it over powered their house matcha a bit for me so next time i'll probably get it with a different matcha, they offer multiple!

DRINKS My friends and I got the Jasmine Blossom, Pandamonium, Matcha Madness (Strawberry Matcha), and Yuzu Creamsicle. Overall, it's apparent that they put a lot of effort/thought into mastering these combinations for the matcha. The drinks are delicious and probably one of the best in DFW! Jasmine Blossom - very fragrant with the jasmine flavor and very good. This is the strongest and most delicious version of jasmine and matcha that I've had and thorougly enjoyed this drink. Pandamonium - also one of my favorites because the pandan flavor is very subtle but sweetens the matcha very well. Matcha Madness - pretty standard strawberry matcha. I will say that it is a bit on the sweeter side than I personally prefer, but the matcha flavor is still good. Yuzu Creamsicle - you can definitely taste the yuzu, but I'm not sure if I like the creamy part just based on personal preference. VIBES This is such a cozy and cool concept space. They host workshops and other events as well. I went here to study with my friends and the vibes were so nice. We bought a day pass where we got drinks and snacks. SERVICE Service was absolutely amazing! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming, making the experience so nice! This place is really popular! Non stop traffic. The girl who checked us out was very nice. I got the matcha madness (plain strawberry matcha) and it I could tell the matcha and strawberry was super fresh. If you like things on the sweeter side like me, I'd suggest asking for extra strawberry and/or condensed milk. I had to ask for more to adjust. I think what would make the place even better is more space and for some reason the day I went in the smell was kind of off- so some air freshener or incense might help with that.

For the longest time I've been wanting to try this place because my coworkers kept talking about this place. I tried this place about a month or two ago and ever since, I've been coming back so often. I've been bringing my classmates and out of town friends to this place. It's so aesthetic and a great place for matcha. So many options starting from the drink itself and different options for milk plus different kinds of matcha to get! Service is great as well. The girly is so helpful and knowledgeable, definitely helped me narrows things down. So far, I've tried the Pandonium, Jasmine, Yuzu, and the special Vietnamese one. They're all great. Honestly, I don't have a favorite one yet because they're all equally great. I love the drinks, the aesthetic, and the platform that they gave to a local artist. Plenty of options, great service, many tables, it's a great place. I strongly recommend!

Hyphen Space is sooo good! They used to serve drinks inside the store but they switched to doing pop-ups, and now they have a tiny truck in front of the store to serve drinks. Nonetheless, the drinks are still perfect. We tried some more drinks from them over the years and loved every single one of them. Our favorite drinks would be the Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Shortcake, and the Jamais Vu (limited time). The blueberry shortcake is less sweet than the strawberry one, making the drink more balance. The Jamais Vu is topped with brown banh mi butter crumble, toasted banh mi syrup, and we went for Viet coffee as the base. The drink is well-balanced and the coffee wasn't too strong. I would love to try the Earl Grey matcha next time :)

Cute matcha trailer sitting outside of their dedicated space. The drink options are very creative-- think matcha lattes with blueberry, strawberry, yuzu, condensed milk, and other flavors. There are two types of matcha that you can choose from, but I asked for the barista's recommendation. My group ordered the yuzu creamsicle, jasmine blossom, and strawberry shortcake. The jasmine blossom was my favorite, with the floral notes really standing out. The yuzu creamsicle tasted like a matcha with a scoop of the honey citron tea that you can get at an Asian market. Each drink was about $8 - $9, which is steep for a fun little drink, but the quality was better than any ordinary matcha drink. As for the service, the baristas were kind when answering our questions and providing recommendations. There was a line of about 10 people in front of us, but we did not wait too long. The space has decent seating, but we took our drinks to go.

It's been awhile since I've been back to Hyphen Space in Dallas, I was in the area and had been craving their drinks for a fat minute. They had to close for a bit of time but now they are back in a trailer right in front of their space! I came during a weekday evening and there was no line and plenty of street parking. My cousin got their new special drink, the Jamais Vu. It's a phin dripped coffee or matcha with brown butter Banh mi crumbles and a condensed milk cloud cap. They make a special toasted Banh mi syrup for this drink! The combination sounds very weird but this drink was actually sooo gooooood. Matcha was very solid and the banh mi crumbles are a really nice touch, I would order this again. I decided to try something different this time and got the strawberry shortcake. It's made with condensed milk, strawberry compote, a cloud cap, and cookie crumbles. If you like dessert drinks then this may be for you. The strawberry and matcha go pretty well together and the crumbles on top were a nice touch. Also tried the matcha yuzuade from my brother. It has a touch of yuzu syrup and is more citrusy. It's like a more refreshing matcha. Also got the pandamonium (pandan matcha) and jasmine matcha for my cousins. I'd say my favorite is still the matcha einspanner.

30 mins before closing on a Saturday, we waited around 10 mins in line, but it went by really quickly! We got the pandan matcha (which was our fav), strawberry shortcake (sweeter side), strawberry matcha, and earl grey matcha! It was all delicious! Highly recommend this place!

this matcha was worth the drive ! Love the different flavors of matcha options this place has and they also have 2 different matcha base you can choose from (floral or nutty). The jasmine matcha was bold in the floral notes. If you don't like floral flavors- this is not for you. Pandamonium matcha was my fav! I added the condensed cap on top to give it a more creamy texture and I loved it. The line went pretty quick on a Saturday afternoon. There is street parking only.

My favoriteeeee matcha place in DFW!! They are soo damn good. I alternate between a few drinks here but there matcha lattes especially the einspanner is so creamy, perfectly sweet and full of matcha flavor. Unfortunately they are mot serving matcha right now. They had a pop up at Northpark mall and served the same quality drinks. The lines were definitely long but always worth it for the treat. Please make smaller sizes upon the grand opening in a few months!!!

While both were good, I especially enjoyed the flavor of the mushroom one. The florentine tasted a little bit more plain than I like. The portions were surprisingly generous, which was a nice bonus. I also picked up an egg and pepper kolache and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the kolache actually ended up being my favorite item of the meal. There was a steady flow of customers the entire time I was there, which says a lot about the place. The staff were all friendly and easy to talk to. I really liked the décor and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy my breakfast. I'll definitely be back to try more things.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

It's a lunch spot with sandwiches and a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop or read a book, but also to take a casual date or your family for breakfast. They have a gluten free bread option (woohoo) and I've had both their avocado toast and the fried egg breakfast sandwich (with added avocado haha). Both are sooo good. The avocado toast comes with smoked salmon, which I do like, but I'm more of a basic avocado toast person. It also has a little pico de gallo and red pepper flakes! The breakfast sandwich is 2 over easy eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on sourdough (I subbed gluten free bread and added avocado) with a side of breakfast potatoes. It's a lot of food -- super filling and delicious. I also recommend their iced latte with whatever house-made syrup your prefer (usuals like caramel, vanilla, mocha, and then not-so-usuals like coconut pandan, lavender, brown sugar date, etc.). Enjoy!

The French toast was quite good but was very obviously put in the microwave right before serving with a steaming hot center.
