I would definitely recommend this place for just a random weekend outing or for a birthday celebration! We booked a super party to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday and were pretty happy with the experience over all. Booking was easy and came with 2 pizza's and 10 capri sun's or water for up to 10 children. We added on 3 additional pizza's, chicken tenders, honey BBQ wings, which were more like boneless nuggets that were flat but delicious, and 4 four liter sodas. The food was really good. I'm not sure exactly where it came from as they told us they are contracted with multiple vendors but it was good. They charge $100 to bring in outside food so if you're in between and do the math, it's worth it to just purchase through them! My baby thoroughly enjoyed his party and the adults enjoyed as well! The bubbles in the middle of the floor were a major hit while playing the Gracie's Corner "Happy Birthday"! My only critique is that the light floor was broken, which my child loves. Huge bummer! We had a great time, though! I was very happy with everything! All we had to bring was our cake, candles, and a lighter. The facility took care of everything else. read more

We visited Hyper Kidz and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. We came on a Wednesday after work and the place looked like a Saturday morning. The place felt unkempt and poorly maintained, and it was clear that the staff were just going through the motions. There was little energy, engagement, or care from anyone working. It didn't feel welcoming or safe enough for a return visit. This was our first and last time here. Planning a birthday party for a toddler can be stressful especially when multiple age groups will be invited. I found Hyperkidz by searching online. I thought the birthday party packages were reasonable so I submitted a request and paid the deposit. The instructions were simple and they did call me after my purchase to see if I had any questions. The day of the party went smoothly. As guests arrived, they were provided wristbands. I also really appreciated how well the assistant manager decorated the party room. She took charge, asked me my preferences and added additional items to enhance the theme. The kids, 10 months- 6 years old, really enjoyed themselves in the different areas designed for their age group. Several parents who attended the party mentioned that this location was better than others. I have not been to any other locations so I can't compare. I will bring my child back to play especially during the winter for indoor fun. read more

Updated 8/21/2025. I came by the location today with my son. Unfortunately, there were parents who were not watching their children and not correcting them with behavior that could cause harm to others and themselves. I watched children go up the slide by crawling up instead of just sliding down and parents allowing it, although there were children that were coming down the slide as the other children were crawling up the slide. I also noticed that there was food wrappers that had been dropped by some children and not picked up. Of the things that I saw today the most disturbing was seeing that they were parents who were in my side of their children, who were not being mindful of others by leaving items on the ground that could cause another child or person to slip and fall. There was a Plastic slipper that are usually left in front of the bathrooms to cover your feet on the floor area, where it lights up for children once they step on it. I washed a child's step over it and a parent watched it and never went to pick it up or asked that it be picked up by the child. Even if it wasn't theirs, the fact that no one said anything or picked up the trash that could cause someone to slide or fall was concerning. I let the front staff know of the things that I saw today because I do enjoy coming to this location with my child. However, overtime, I've seen how management has let things slide, including the management of the equipment. I saw today that an area that holds equipment had been unzipped and or the zipper was broken allowing a child to possibly access this area. I did let the management know that this area was opened and a child could get inside and unfortunately possibly hurt themselves. She was very alert to these concerns and made note of the areas that were of concern to myself and other parents. Parents should watch their children and be mindful of their behavior and surroundings. As a parent, I can understand that at times we just want to let our hair down and relax. Our job as parents does not end when we take our children to a indoor play area. Yes we can do the best we can to trust our kids are being responsible, and respectful but they are children and we still have a responsibility to protect our children and those around our children. Management should carefully review daily, the equipment and the ins and outs of the facility before opening. If a child had walked into the back area where the equipment was exposed because the zipper was broken and opened, a child could've picked up something or could have tripped and hurt themselves inside. Because that area was on the back end of the gym, if a parent was not watching their child, they would not have known that their child had walked inside that zippered area . read more

It's a mixed bag. On one hand it's a fun space for kids that they'll enjoy. On the other hand it's smaller than similar indoor playgrounds, it's a bit pricey (compared to the amount of area), the food is very pricey (3 dollars for a small bag of chips, 20+ dollars for a pizza) and it's not as clean or frequently sanitized compared to other play spaces in the area. Also, despite the fact that there are a few people at the front desk and two registers-only one person will be available to assist with the long line. read more

We've been visiting Hyperkidz for several years now, and my little one always has a blast! I love how there's always something new or different to check out each time we go. However, I do find the maze and slides for the bigger kids a bit intense; it makes me worry that a child could get lost in there. After a scary experience at another indoor playground where my child couldn't find their way back, I've decided to keep my little one in the safer areas. Great place for toddlers and kids to run around and play! The price is great, location is easy to find and plentiful parking, and areas are sectioned out by age. My son had a great time running around for nearly 2 hours! There is also separate seating outside of the play area to have snacks or water breaks. So my family and I have been to this location quite a bit over the last few years and it's really deteriorated recently. On our visit today, we noticed how badly this place needs to update their equipment. Some areas are just worn down, like the ball pit that has dozens of popped balls. A light up dance floor that doesn't light up. A swing that barely swings. Other areas like the spin wheel are broken and have sharp steel edges kids can get hurt on. This seems pretty disappointing considering this place is comparatively expensive. I will say, a positive is that the climbing obstacle course seems to be fully functional and still in good condition, so that's great. The toddler area also is in good condition as well. A nice thing too is that during the week, even in the summer, this place is not crowded during the wer Also, word of warning. As noted in my photos, they offer rewards, including free day passes for anyone who leaves a 5 star review. So take positive reviews with a grain of salt. read more

This place is NICE! My experience was fantastic for the first 15 minutes. Then multiple school buses of camp students arrived. They ruined was was a pleasant experience. As a teacher, they shouldn't allow multiple schools and large groups and paying customers at the same time. Close your business to paying customers when 50-75 students come in and RUIN a paying customers experience. I spent the entire time policing the areas designated for younger children to ensure my child could peacefully play. Like I said it was nice and clean prior to the heard of wild children who appeared to have never been let out anywhere and were minimally supervised by teachers and camp counselors. read more

Had my kid's birthday party there today, and was completely underwhelmed. The place - despite not being busy - seemed completely disorganized. Things that should have been relayed to me prior to the party never were. For example, I was never told that we would only actually have the room for an hour of the 2-hour party, or that the kids could go back and play after they were done with the cake. I was also not given any guidance on the schedule of the party, or any other details. The host was barely there - and it seemed like I had to chase her down any time I needed anything. The rest of the staff seemed less than helpful, and seemed like they were almost irritated that they were being bothered. I got no help, no guidance, and had no communication. And the host made it seem like an inconvenience to set up and serve cake, or even provide a cart for the presents - which they never did. If I'm going to pay $300+ for a party, I want someone who at least somewhat cares about the party, and doesn't seem like they're inconvenienced at everyone possible turn. I also want a place that will actually let you know what to expect when you get there, so you're not spending the first 15 minutes of your kids' party trying to figure out what's going on. read more

While my kids had a blast, the place was so packed and staff seemed minimal. Several portions were designated for specific ages and included a warning not to enter if you are over said age (0-2 are and under 7 area). However no one paid attention and the staff didn't seem to care/enforce it making it difficult for little ones to safely have fun. It's also super hard to keep track of your child once they enter into the large multi level enclosure, and if you have to go up to find them, good luck! As a regular place to play on the weekends, it's a dynamite concept. My 7 year old daughter loves it here. The play equipment is challenging and it allows her to get that energy out. She's ALWAYS tired when she gets home. It's pretty clean and I don't worry about her picking up any germs, etc. And the price is right. Definitely worth making a part of the regular weekend routine. The reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star: I will never recommend any type of party or large-scale event being held here. We were in attendance at Hyperween this year and it was massively overpacked. Hundreds of screaming kids, hundreds of confused parents, and the fire alarm was somehow pulled and I could NOT find my daughter in the crush of people. We were both in tears by the time I found her and she just wanted to leave, immediately. The accountability system is non-existent - when it's quiet during a midweek play session, that's one thing, but during a massive holiday party, that's extremely unsafe. They need a system similar to Chuck E. Cheese where the parent has to produce a photograph of their child at the door when they come in and check it again upon the exit. No parties or huge events. Everything about this place was great except it's filthy. There were dried blood stains on the equipment, the hand sanitizing stations were all empty, the floor waiting room area floor dirty from food, an I wouldn't be surprised if we get sick from our visit. The worst part, I told the staff about the dried blood and, well, they didn't do anything about it. We had such a good time at Hyper Kidz Baltimore! It was super clean and the workers were sanitizing throughout the time my kids were playing. There are 3 play areas sectioned off by age. There is age groups 0-2, 2-7 and 7 and up! The majority of time my kids played in the 7 and up area. The kids had a blast! So many different slides to choose from, a light up dance floor and an area with foam blocks to build. I actually cut my foot and the staff was so sweet and helped me I definitely recommend Hyper Kidz Baltimore and will be back! Skyler was great. She help set up the room for our party and was very attentive. but there was only one stall with paper and one sink with soap and no foot protection for the bathroom. The little bounce on animals were filthy and half the balls in the ball pit were bust/squished. The pepperoni pizza from pizza Boli had literally only had 4 pieces on the whole pizza. And the dance party floor and bubble machine were not working but we paid full price for the party package. read more

My 10 year old son had an okay time here. There are 3 play areas designated for different age groups. After about 30-35 minutes he was ready to go. It appears pretty clean here and there is plenty of seating for adults. I think they should require reservations to cap the amount of kids that are there. When we went around 130pm on a Monday and there were a lot of kids there from a camp so i did feel it was a bit overcrowded. My son did say the 7+ area had a bad smell which may have been in the enclosed tunnels. The staff seemed nice. However we probably won't be back. read more

Love this place! We had a blast at Hyper Kidz! Baltimore. Plenty to do and keep kids of all ages busy for hours and hours. Best part for me was the layout. Older kids have their own half of the building so the littlest aren't running into them as much. I also love that you don't have to purchase special socks. You can wear your own and can also purchase if you need them. Plenty of cubby space and lockers to rent if needed. Will definitely be returning! 5 stars! read more

I was disappointed. The staff was not friendly but inconsiderate. They were there to do a job and had an attitude. Nothing prepared me for the "no shoe" policy. Purchasing socks is clearly a gimmick to make extra revenue. Everyone knows kids love balloons and decorations but nothing sticks to the walls? come on! The establishment is fantastic. Facility is spacious with lots of intriguing kid activities, and friendly staff. Today there were too many people -adults supposedly-who thought it was okay to remove their masks and not put them back on, and those who pulled their masks beneath their noses. Apparently others thought it was okay to leave their trash in the shrubbery outside, and in the observation seating areas inside too. It would have been a 5 but for the trifling customers, so I'll stick to off-peak hours based on earlier interactions. Suggestions for the business: provide lockers where people can pay to put their kids' belongings, versus leaving them in the open. Enforce proper mask wearing and put images of acceptable and unacceptable wearing at the kiosk, and make it part of the waiver. read more

I have taken my kids to hyper kids many times. They love it so much that I decided to book my son's 5th birthday party here. DO NOT EVER BOOK A PARTY HERE. The staff literally ruined this day for me. My "party planner" that they're supposed to provide showed up 25 minutes late into my 2 hour party. My guests had no clue where to go as I'm running around the place trying to find simple things such as tape to set up the decorations in the room that was supposed to be done for me. When she finally showed up, she looked hungover and spent the entire party in the bathroom and no one to be found to help with serving food, cake, nothing. I didn't even have a trash bag for my room. It was a total nightmare and I missed the entire party because I was running around doing everything myself! Then when it came time to pay, they only offered me a 10% discount and offered to give me free play tickets and I could take "as many snacks on the wall as I wanted." I am totally disgusted with this place and highly disappointed in how the owner wouldn't even get on the phone to talk to me, he/she just completely disregarded it and took no responsibility for the business he/she's running.
