We booked a room for my son's first birthday on 3/14 @ 5-730pm for a total of $330 for 10 children. Although we only had 6 children to attend they did have fun. However, prior to us leaving the " supervisor by the name of Jordan conducted the entire booking. Jordan pulled me to the side at 7:40 telling me that I owe an additional $50 because we were supposed to exit the party area at7:30. I explain to Jordan that I was unaware of any additional costs. Jordan proceeded to apologize for not making us aware of the additional cost due to her being too busy. At7:30 Jordan came in to speak with me Rosie regarding cleaning up, and the remaining balance of $230. As I walk to the front to pay the remaining balance of $230. I gave Jordan $210 in cash. She explained the balance came to $269. I explained to Jordan that this was not rite because we just spoke about payment and this extra fee was not discussed. Jordan decided to go back and forth about how she was to busy and she apologize for not making us aware of the extra charges. Ms Jordan refused to take the remaining balance of $20 to pay off the initial balance of $230. She also would NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR THE BALANCE. This was so wrong and ruined the the evening for my family and I. My children sat in the car for 30-45 mins wile trying to resolve the issue with Jordan and the extra money she was trying to add. Jordan proceeded to apologize for not making us aware of the extra charges. Ms Jordy refused to take the remaining balance of $20 to pay off the initial balance of $230. I attended a birthday party there and was shocked be the 2 rude staff. The facility was hot and when asked to put on AC they said they did not have it. So 25 + children and kids 'tried' to have fun in sweaty facility. When the hostess asked for cake plates she was informed that they only give one plate per attendee so guest had to go to dollar store for cake plates. The fee was outrageous and I mean outrageous especially since the staff nothing to facilitate the party or make guest feel welcome. At My Gym in Timonium and Coppermine on Falls road there is AC, music and the staff leads the children in little activities and makes a fuss over the birthday child to help make the party festive. Bubula is cute! Weekend mornings it gets a bit crowded but still an enjoyable environment. For one child it is $15 to enter. We have went right around opening time and some of the moving play structures were not turned on. On a cleanliness scale from 1/5 I'd rate it a 3. The bathrooms are nice and clean but some of the play areas are a bit overlooked. Overall I would recommend this play and we do have fun! read more

Babies are welcomed as long they stay close to parent. All who enter the playground area must have on socks! Opened 10-6 M-Sat Sun 10-5pm Parents are advised that some of the equipment is weight restricted, so proceed with caution. There is a party/movie room that can be rented. Movies are played through out the day. You are able to bring outside food in. You can make a day of it and take 30mim outside break. Very clean and they take pride of it! Surprisingly they was open during Memorial Day! Took my 2yr and her cousin who is 10mos. Plenty of different slides. My daughter fav was the light up one. The ball pit was hit with the girls they were in the "ocean". Hello Kitty carousel was adorable. Little hot during the peak hours, but it was fine the offered waters. I want to preface this by saying that this was the location in Pikesville on Reisterstown Rd. We have been to many indoor playgrounds with our daughter. Upon entering Bubala I was hit in the face by an overwhelming smell of room deodorizer. It was as if they were trying to cover up the dirt in the place. We decided to stay though because my daughter needed to run. We payed, took off our shoes, and entered the play area. To say, I was shocked puke be an understatement. When we entered the play area, everything had a visible layer of dirt on it. Everything had a brown tinge to it, there were piles of dust, hair, and grime in all the corners of the play area, in the crevice of the slides, on all the Velcro. We stayed for about about 30 minutes before I couldn't take it anymore. My daughter had fun, but all I saw was filth everywhere. I removed her from the floor, went in the bathroom, wiped her down with wipes and sanitizer, changed her clothes, and we left. When we got home, I bathed her and myself as we smelled like the place. Her bath water was filthy as well, she had just had a bath the night before. Stay away. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at one of these places. read more

Good afternoon I would like to speak with someone from management about my time at Bubala Playground. First I arrived 20 mins after the party was supposed to begin so I understand that was taken away from my time. This was my first time coming to this indoor playground and I was highly upset after arriving. Upon arriving I was told by one of my party guest that the play area looked very unsanitary. Despite that we used Lysol to spray everything down. After entering the party room I was disappointed in finding out the seating had not been cleaned and looked very dirty. I was also unaware that the bottles of water were not 8oz and the table cloths would not be set up at the time of arrival and I would have to do that as well. On top of that the projector I was told about and was one of the main reasons I booked at this specific playground was not working. That was just unacceptable at this point. I spent $429 on my daughters 2nd birthday party and to have MULTIPLE issues and complaints from my guest is unacceptable. Lastly when it was around 3:30pm one of the young ladies came in the room and seemed very anxious on getting us out the room by 4pm to avoid paying extra. That I can understand but it was only 3:30 and I still had more time to start cleaning up, the young lady proceeds to start throwing things away that kids were still eating, we told her to not throw anything away for the kids and we would make sure it is cleaned out by 4pm. And she replied "I need you guys out by 4pm not 4:01 and not 4:02" and the way her tone was you could tell she was irritated. Which was not okay for my guests or me. It came off as she was rushing us out very RUDE especially when there was 30 mins left. Even after paying an extra $100 for extra party time I still was rushed out of the room 30 minutes before the party was over. Overall this experience was not a good one. I was highly disappointed with the customer service and the lack of cleanliness. Especially after spending so much of my money to provide a party for my daughter. Also the two young ladies working that day both had on bonnets which left a bad impression and is not professional at all. read more

A great place for toddlers to run free and play! The first time we came here, I gave it 2 stars because the some of the play areas were visibly dirty, especially the trampoline which was very stained. I gave this place a second chance after several months (because my son really did enjoy it the first time) and I'm happy to report looked better maintained! This place is a one and done for us. I took my 1 & 2 year old and while they liked it, the place looks tired and needs some TLC. The place felt dirty, some of the items were broken and the ball pit needed some more balls and the removal of the flattened ones. This place has potential but just missed the mark. read more

Love bringing my twin boys here to get their energy out. Never super busy which is really nice because my twins do not like to stay together in the same place. It is small enough that I can keep an eye on both of them when they are playing. I like that I can bring my own drinks and snacks for them to have. There are also items you can purchase which which is great if I run out. Socks are required in the play area. Only think I dislike is the other parents who do not feel the need to watch their kids. This place was very nice and clean for a establishment for small children. My son is 19 months old and I wanted to find a place where he could play without bigger kids running him over. Sadly when we arrived there were only 2 children so my son didn't get the overall experience but he enjoyed the space. The membership is pricey. $85 a month seems a bit much. The fee for a visit is $13.00 which I think is a little high as well. However, I did like that there was a area for kid friendly movies to be watched and that there were changing tables for parents to use in the bathroom. We came here this afternoon around 2:30. We have really enjoyed our previous visits, but something was just not right this go around. To start the employee was very friendly, but I couldn't help but notice that she was on her cell phone 90% of our visit. When she wasn't sitting on her phone, she was in the office (which is completely closed off from the facility). As I was watching my girls play, I couldn't help but notice several clumps of hair in the ball pit. I picked them up (as I didn't want my daughter to touch them) and placed them on the front desk. I also noticed the stairs to the flashing slide to be quite filthy. Additionally, there were two moms there with several children. I guess since their children were on the older side, they thought they didn't have to supervise them. The moms, sat off to the side, gabbing and chowing down on pizza from next door. Several times, myself and other parents/caregivers had to ask the older kids to take it easy. Now I know it's not the employees responsibility to watch all the children, but it is their responsibility to make sure that the parents are following through and obliging by the rules signed on the waver. It clearly states that parents/guardians/caregivers must supervise their children. This left such a bad taste in my mouth that, it will be a long time before we try Bubala out again. read more

Went here after seeing this place online. Seen a sign on the door saying closed however we seen people and kids inside playing. Went inside and waiting At the sign in desk for over a minute.No one came. My daughter was excited to play so I let her go figuring when an employee comes out they will approach me to pay the admission..Instead I was approached telling me I had to leave because of a private party. I then said well no one was at the desk and I'm not staying long my daughter is already in. She then went and got the manger I'm guessing and told me I need to leave now because people paid money for their private party. I asked where is the party notice she told me Facebook. So I suppose to check a business Facebook before going there? Had there been a sign posted that said private party when I entered and had someone been at the reception desk then I could have spared my daughter crying when I had to basically grab her after 2 minutes of playing because we were threatened by staff to leave..Don't think I will give this place a second chance. read more

Tried to go to Bubala on a Tuesday morning during their posted hours. Got there after a half hour drive and it was closed for a private party. Their website said to check Facebook for weekend hours due to private parties but didn't mention week days. I did not find the play space very appealing and will not try to go back in the future. We saved $13 by having a nice free trip to the children's area of the Pikesville Baltimore County library right across the street instead of going to Bubala. read more

I went today for the first time, the staff were wonderful. I love the way everything was set up for safe play. I also liked the fact that the bathrooms were clean and child ready with stools for them to self help with the cleaning of their hands. Everything was cushioned and safe, I noticed how one cushion was coming off the wall and an employee noticed and immediately came and fixed it. I enjoyed and loved that there is one door and chairs there so you can relax and watch the children mingle. It is set up in such a way that no one can grab your child and leave, all the parents and grandparents there kept an eye out on all the little ones. I've been here twice with my 4 yr old (and her friend) and 18 month old, and we love it. It's very clean and safe, great space for this age. I wouldn't bring kids older than 5, it's more geared toward toddler/young kids. It costs less when you bring more kids, it was $9 each when I came with 3.
