Try to go with a plan of what you need. A bathing suit? Kids clothes? Dress shoes? Don't try to just look at everything because that could quite literally take an entire weekend. The dressing rooms for women only have FOUR stalls. Yes FOUR. And you are only allowed 8 items. The wait was close to 45 minutes. If you want to try on more than 8 items then head to the back of the line again. This place could really benefit from sample sale style dressing rooms. If you love Gianni Bini this is hands down an incredible selection at deeply discounted prices. There are rows and rows of dresses, pants, etc etc. There is also a really nice designer section with previous season finds. For prom dresses or evening gowns this would be well worth a visit because $500 dresses are marked down significantly, and there are plenty of sizes from 0 to 18. The shoe section is very well organized by size and color. Sam Edelmen, Adidas, and Antonio Melani abound. You cannot take shoes into the dressing rooms so I would recommend visiting the shoes once you are finished clothes shopping so you don't have to leave the shoes in a pile outside of the dressing room. There are these gray trolley baskets that you can use for your finds, but they are difficult to navigate through the packed racks and they are also not allowed in the dressing rooms. Once you have your bounty selected get ready to wait AGAIN at checkout. I think it was another forty minutes to check out. Would I visit again? Yes definitely, but I will go very early when they first open, have a more specific agenda, and not be in a hurry. I would also recommend bringing the kids snacks. Only open 12-7. Closed Mondays.

I'm okay with this because I came for discounts, not love ! They have so many different varieties of shoes. They have unique statement shoes vs boring regular shoes!! They have formal dresses at a very good price. The discounts are really good. I will definitely be back

There were points in my life when my mother would take the 4 of us kiddos and take us to the mall…read morerandomly for new clothes. Random mall runs for new clothes always meant a vacation! If it was one set... we were going to an amusement park from 7 to 11. If it was more that 1, we were going to the different peaks around Disneyland, going out of the country ( the 4 of us are still world travelers), we were going to spend time with my family and have fun with my cousins a whole week and my health conscious Mom would pretend to not see the junk we ate, or my Dad read up on a State with a lot of history, museums, and wonderful restaurants ( my fellow foodie!) and decided to take us to that state. Now TJ Maxx was the last stop on the route. That was for accessories and moreover it was for my Mom to pick up cute pieces for my Dad and herself. She spent most of her budget on us and she was such a fashionista on getting her and my Dad great outfits on sale. TJ Maxxx has a whole lot know!!! Im using them to redecorate my house. Not just them but the have a LOT of cool things!! Plus it smells so good in the store. Will be back. Today.

I had purchased 2 items and paid a portion by store credit, and the rest by credit card (roughly 15% of the total by store credit and 85% by credit card). My return was about half the cost of what I paid, which was fully covered by the credit card portion. Since the item I wanted to return was fully covered by the amount I paid on my credit card, the entire refund should have gone back to my card, per standard policy and logic. However, the Assistant Manager Megan A refused to process the refund correctly, insisting on wanting to issue a new store credit for what I had originally used while only putting the remainder on my card. Her reasoning was because it was store policy. She then refused to process my refund entirely after our argument. I then went to the TJ Maxx on Memorial Dr and had completely no issues with the return, with the full amount of the item entirely on my credit card. I didn't even have to ask to do this as it was automatic. Worse than Megan A.'s obviously incorrect 'policy' was the treatment. Her tone and demeanor made me feel publicly scrutinized and humiliated while standing at the busy cashier, as if I was trying to cheat the system. I was left feeling deeply embarrassed and frustrated in front of other shoppers. This is a failure on two counts: 1. Policy Failure: The manager lacked basic understanding of how split-tender returns work when the return value is less than the credit card portion. 2. Service Failure: Treating a long-time customer with such unprofessionalism and public derision is inexcusable.

This company has such a deep well of potential in both their model and execution of their model…read more With a small amount of effort, you can find luxury items at affordable costs, typically while avoiding the "discount store" culture/atmosphere. They have the infrastructure, client base, talented stockers and access of locale to usurp Nordstrom Rack and similar models. Their inability to achieve that level of quality, however, is purely self-inflicted. They are clearly allergic to the concept of quality customer service and err on the side of caution, in treating the customer as poorly as possible, lest someone accidentally become confused and forget that they are shopping at Ross+. Instead of settling for being the Target of discount stores, and at times making a tangible effort to become the Walmart, why not get out of your way and pretend to know the meaning of the term "customer service?" I am including two pictures of the two Jack Spade bags I found at this store, and you will easily be able to understand why Marshall's can't have nice things (the larger of the two was damp and smelled like mold). It's bad enough that you treat your treasures like trash, but your employees are categorically opposed to the idea of a customer ever daring to set foot in their domains again. If you want to be better, you have to do better first.
