Listened to his explanations and wisely copied his selections, which were deleciious, nutricious, and very, very satisfying! Wrote down my menu selections for upcoming dinner plans (at Konnichiwa --one of Greer's BEST new restaurants, in my humble opinion). Next week's dinner would celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary and our daughters latest Birthday). Wife is paranoid about foreign spices and daughter about foreign diets in general- so used the recommendations from my previous lunch with ample coaxcing of the ladies; adults enjoyed hibachi shrimp bowls with corn & green beans, daughter delighted in choosing her adventurous chicken bowl. The waiter could not have been more helpful as he accomodated any and all further questions in perfect English after storing our walker nearby. This added to our carefree, and delightful Konnichiwa dining experience. We had previously been great fans of FATZ and will look forward to taking many of our visiting guests to this great Japanese replacement with newer and brighter modern lighting decor, etc.

It does not have a shrimp which is good considering I am allergic. Our chef was very entertaining and did a great job preparing the food and delivering a few jokes. However, our server had a little bit of an attitude. Perhaps, it was due to it being late in the day. We split a meal for a small split charge. But it gave us a lot of good food at an economical price. It was definitely worth every penny. This was not our first time and definitely not our last. A must try if you are looking for good hibachi!

It was my little sisters birthday when we decided to try this place. When you enter, it's super cool. The ceiling looks like the night sky and it sets a unique mood for your night. When we went in, it smelled really good. We were greeted by a young woman. She brought us our drinks. It took us a long time to actually find our chef tonight. It took about 20-25 mins. I wasn't that hungry that night, surprisingly, so I wanted something light, like an appetizer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE takoyaki SO MUCH. so that's what I tried to order. But APPARENTLY the sushi bar was closed on that day and basically all appetizers were made in the sushi bar. So I was forced to get a whole expensive meal that I didn't even finish. I thought that was weird and annoying. The whole sushi bar? And why is every single appetizer made in the sushi bar? (It's Mondays the sushi bar is closed, so if you want an appetizer and you are planning on going on a Monday, skip it and just do it tomorrow night. Trust me, it will be much more enjoyable.) The performance was fantastic and entertaining. I really liked the scallops, however I was much too full to finish and we got a ton of leftovers. Be prepared to get a ton of rice. I got an entire cinder block of fried rice. Wouldn't even fit in the box.

After looking online for sushi in the area, Osaka Grill popped up. Though it's a hole-in-the-wall sort of place, that's a good sign because those tend to be the gems. Not fancy, but comfortable and casual atmosphere. There are tables and booths. It was busy on this Friday night (our first time ever here). We wanted a booth instead of the tables that were close to several other tables filled with customers and they allowed us to wait by the bar/counter where we watched and also looked at the menu to decide what sushi we wanted. Once seated, we were able to order quickly getting the Happy Family, Atlanta Roll, and Alaska Roll, miso soup. They were all good! What was even more welcoming was the price - definitely a great value, which probably explained why there were plenty of carryouts/pickups. Good food, good service, and amazing price!

Two stars, and I want to be fair about why…read more Ichiban Sushi advertises all-you-can-eat sushi, which sounds great until you hit the fine print: the entire table has to order it, or nobody can. I brought my almost-90-year-old father in for tempura and soup. He was not going to eat thirty dollars of raw fish, and I was not about to make him try. So the all-you-can-eat was off the table, literally, on account of him being at the table. I asked about my situation anyway. Just me ordering it, Dad having his soup. The answer was no. The reason, said out loud, was that they don't trust customers not to share. I understand the math behind that policy, I really do. But sit with what it means to open a brand-new relationship with a customer by explaining that the rule exists because you assume they'll cheat you. That's a rough note to start on. "Welcome, we don't trust you" is not a phrase that makes anyone reach for their wallet. So I went à la carte instead. Three pieces of sushi. They were fine. They were also tiny, and priced as if they were not tiny. At those prices, the only version of this meal that makes any sense is the all-you-can-eat, which, once again, I was not permitted to buy. I won't knock the food, the service, or the atmosphere. None of that was the issue. The issue is a policy built on the assumption that the person across the counter is trying to pull a fast one, held so tightly that it couldn't flex for an old man and his son having lunch. We haven't been back, and we won't be. And I'd gently suggest to the owner that when customers stop showing up, a lack of trust in those customers might be worth a second look. Trust runs both directions. So does its absence.
