How could you not be while working there? Smiles seemed genuine and if you come within proximity, you're getting some light conversation. I will be the first to tell you I have 2 brown thumbs, and no clue about planting stuff, but I want to come visit Michigan in August and I want some tomatoes and cucumbers. Let's see what happens! It turns out when it comes to plants, you don't need a whole flat of each thing. A little bit goes a long way. I ended up grabbing local heirloom rainbow tomatoes. I could not be more excited about this. I got local slicing cucumbers, and I have no clue what that is, but it's all they had left, so I guess I'll find out, and June is pride month, so why not more rainbows? Local Kale! The aisles were wide enough to maneuver the flat carts easily and I navigated my way from the back veggies, to the blueberry bushes and melons, to the flowers galore and then to the front registers and my super chipper cashier. She was fabulous and got me a tray for my 6 little squares to carry to the car. Each little square of 4 segments was only $2. I got out of there for $13 whole dollars! Now that's a deal! Would I recommend Wojo's? Heck yes. Will I be back? Fingers crossed! This place is great!

I think of all the things I would never ever want to buy and fill my house with. While the main house of The Weed Lady is technically a gift shop, it couldn't be further from the cheap, overpriced connotations mentioned above. They set the atmosphere in the entryway, with an assortment of tea, coffee, and cookies to enjoy while you browse (edit: this may only be present during Christmas shopping season. Still, a nice touch!). It's obvious that every item in this shop has been deliberately chosen by the owner, and each one uniquely captures the natural environment. Cedar and sage scented candles, stone vases, tempered votives, long-stemmed glassware, handmade soaps... you could spend hours looking at all of the ornaments and decorations on display. Gorgeous, inviting, warm.. it doesn't even begin to describe the atmosphere that they have created in the 3 main rooms of the house. The Weed Lady is also a florist, with quite a large greenhouse in the back. Will definitely have to do more exploring here during the summer. The prices are a bit high, but also fair when considering you're paying for unique, quality products and excellent, knowledgeable service. Have recommended this place to many people in the area and will definitely be returning!

For one, the customer service is much better than the nearby Lowe's. I've usually wound up at Home Depot because I couldn't get what I wanted at Lowe's or simply couldn't get anyone to locate it for me or answer a simple question. I was impressed with them when they let us get whatever size piece of wood cut to order to install a railing in the basement, as opposed to Lowe's, who told us they "couldn't cut it to specification." Huh? Baffled by that answer, we went across the street to HD and have been back several times for everything from space heaters and lighting to lumber. Prices are fairly competitive on most items and I believe they will match any competitor's price for the same item. Plus, the customer service is great. I never wander around the store looking for someone to help like I do at Lowe's.

My husband backed in to make it as convenient as possible for the associate to help him load his 30 bags. As soon as he got out of the car the associate said sorry guy "im off the clock" and walked away. Unbeknownst to him my husband had cash handy to tip him. He had to have seen my husband who had been waiting for 15 min. He should have given him heads up so my hubby could have found another associate to help him. Why can't we find good help? It's so sad that Customer service is a thing of the past!! Shame on him!
