It's an exciting time of year for people. 4/5 employees I spoke to today acted as if I was asking for a million dollars to answer very simple questions. Fake a smile and act interested if you have to. Won't be returning. Good selection of items, but nothing I can't get elsewhere and for a much better deal. Just about everything is over priced. They sell their "Bordine's soil" for an absolutely laughable price, as if it's some miracle dirt.

I think of all the things I would never ever want to buy and fill my house with. While the main house of The Weed Lady is technically a gift shop, it couldn't be further from the cheap, overpriced connotations mentioned above. They set the atmosphere in the entryway, with an assortment of tea, coffee, and cookies to enjoy while you browse (edit: this may only be present during Christmas shopping season. Still, a nice touch!). It's obvious that every item in this shop has been deliberately chosen by the owner, and each one uniquely captures the natural environment. Cedar and sage scented candles, stone vases, tempered votives, long-stemmed glassware, handmade soaps... you could spend hours looking at all of the ornaments and decorations on display. Gorgeous, inviting, warm.. it doesn't even begin to describe the atmosphere that they have created in the 3 main rooms of the house. The Weed Lady is also a florist, with quite a large greenhouse in the back. Will definitely have to do more exploring here during the summer. The prices are a bit high, but also fair when considering you're paying for unique, quality products and excellent, knowledgeable service. Have recommended this place to many people in the area and will definitely be returning!

When you're planning a wedding, people say things like, "Nobody ever remembers the flowers!"…read more I tell no lies when I say that EVERYONE has remarked on the flowers that Gerych's provided for our wedding. Our original florist unfortunately came down with a serious health condition two months before our wedding date and could no longer provide the flowers for our wedding. Fortunately, Gerych's had availability for our date on short order! It was more expensive than we had anticipated, but they were willing to work with me when I asked about cutting costs where we could. While I was initially concerned that the bouquets didn't look like the inspiration I sent, I quickly realized that they were possibly even better. Couldn't be happier with how they accentuated our venue and our photographs!

I felt confident that they could deliver on my request for the $78.90 that I gave them. The bouquet arrived on the scheduled arrival day. But what arrived was very different from what I requested. It was a funeral-themed bouquet of white roses, unopened garish fuschia lillies, and an assortment of flowers at various stages of death and decay. I understand if their supplies were stretched thin over the holiday, but then they shouldn't have taken my order or told me they could deliver. They said that they would call me back and make things right. A week later, this is still unresolved. I'm in the process of getting some different flowers for my mom to make up for this. Huge disappointment.

That being indicated, we have a situation that just changed supporting this business. Last fall, we purchased a blooming tree. This spring it was dead. We had done everything that they had indicated. Including buying additional products that they told us to use at additional cost. Even after doing so the tree is dead. We went in and explained the situation and looked for a solution. We were told that they have- NO GAURANTEE ON ANYTHING THEY SELL. I was in disbelief that they do not stay behind anything sold. I could not believe that for the amount of money that it would cost them to replace that they would jeopardize their name. BUT THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING. AN SORRY AND WALK AWAY. So much for caring about their name. Again, I usually write reviews. But, "BUYER BEWARE ". This bothers me to stop support for a local business but they had a simple choice and declined. There are alot of nursery and flower sales that stand behind their products. I suggest using one of them.
