Their garden art went from whimsical to really lovely. I liked the wind catchers. Great variety of trees and shrubs. Summer veg plants coming soon, after danger of frost is past. But there is no way I could resist stopping in the Nursery to check out all the beautiful plants. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Pricing is not outrageous. This is one of the few independent owned local nurseries not yet gobbled up by a big franchise. On this past visit, I bought a bell pepper plant and a jalapeño pepper plant. The plants were about 3-4 inches tall and $3.99 each. They were healthy and gorgeous looking. Know it's up to me to keep these gems alive. Ohhh the pressure. They have a large assortment.... they have a bit of everything... succulents, roses, fruit trees, shade trees, houseplants, and seasonal vegetable plants. They also carry plant food, soil, garden decorations, pots, and gardening tools. The setup is rural and rustic but not amateurish. The parking lot is a gravel lot as is the nursery grounds. So leave your high heels at home. Another thing ... that unlike the big box shops, El Dorado Nursery does not have warranties or provide refunds for plants. Plus no dogs are allowed. They wreak havoc on the mental health of the resident chickens.

Cameron Park Florist - Very Very un-impressive 138.00 bouquet

My little sister had her first child and I wanted something special to congratulate her on this wonderful occasion. I ordered an arrangement and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Beyond expectations. Cameron Park and El Dorado Co. in general are very lucky to have such a talented and dedicated business.

I have been a loyal customer of Cameron Park Florist for years, using them for everything from…read moresending flowers to friends and coworkers to ordering for homecomings and proms. They have always been my go-to--until today. I called to order a boutonniere and a bouquet for my son's prom date and asked if I could email photos for reference. I was told to send the pictures, which I did. While waiting, I confirmed a budget of $85 for the bouquet and $18-$23 for the boutonniere and specified white and pink flowers (no roses). Without ever reviewing the photos, I was told they "couldn't do it" and that I should go to another florist. When I mentioned that I had been a longtime, satisfied customer, I was bluntly told they were not interested in making my order and that I should find someone else. I was also told they didn't want to deal with potential refunds or bad reviews--again, without even seeing what I had requested. After this interaction, I left an honest review reflecting my experience. Shortly after, I received a phone call from the same employee, who was upset, yelling, and threatening to sue me if I didn't take the review down. She also made inappropriate personal assumptions about my life, saying I probably have never worked and have a husband who supports me. (I am a fifth grade school teacher.)I later received an email demanding the same--despite being told earlier that my original email with photos had never been received. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever had. Based on this interaction, I cannot recommend this business and would caution others before choosing to work with them.

Discrepancy Between Product Received and Website Photos…read more I wish I had read some of the reviews before purchasing from this company. My landscaper ordered 3" Black Slate rock from here based on the photos and description on their website. What I received, however, was nothing like what was advertised. Trying to resolve the issue amicably, I sent a polite email on September 18, 2024, with pictures and proof of the discrepancy between what they sold and what was delivered. I received no response. On September 21, 2024, I called and spoke with Dillon, who confirmed I had used the correct email and mentioned several people monitor it daily. He assured me the matter would be addressed. I followed up with another email the same day, yet here we are, September 28, 2024, and still no response. This company has made it clear they have no interest in customer satisfaction or even engaging in a mature conversation to resolve this issue. The lack of communication is not only frustrating but unprofessional. I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business here. They have shown a complete disregard for their customers, and I regret trusting their product descriptions and service. Below is a copy of what I sent them to info@rockproslandscape.com. If I don't hear from them again, I will have to take the next step. Subject: Discrepancy Between Product Received and Website Photos 2920 LESVOS CT LINCOLN, CA 95648 (916) 409-5051 info@rockproslandscape.com Dear Rock Pros, I am emailing your company to bring to your attention an issue with the product I received from your company, which does not match the appearance shown on your website. Order Details: * Product Name: 3" Minus Black Slate * Date of Purchase: August 8th, 2024 Upon receiving this product, I noticed that it looks significantly different from what was displayed on your website. Specifically, the color is grey not black. I questioned my contractor about this, and he said he questioned a rep from Rock Pros about the same thing. He was told, once you wet it the color will be black and it's just very dusty. My contractor demonstrated that to me and your rep was right. After my contractor laid down the 8 yards of rock and washed it down, it matched your website. Once it dried, it was grey. I figured it would take some time to remove the dust and the rocks would remain black just like the name 3" Black Slate. After about a month of washing it down, the rocks remain grey not black. This discrepancy has caused some disappointment, as I was expecting the product to align more closely with the images provided online for my expensive backyard. Although, your website does say "Material pictured has been washed down for aesthetic purposes" it does not represent the true color of the product when it dries or purchased. Could you please advise on the best way to resolve this situation? ( Pictures of my backyard sent) Please let me know if you need any other information. Thank you. btw.. check out the review from Shavell C from Elk Grove. Apparently, this has been an issue since September 2nd, 2021.
