My Girl Scout Troop is working on earning their Silver Award and part of their project requires them to build a podium. Meek's assisted by providing supplies and we can't wait for them to see the final product at the event. They were friendly, considerate, and kind; thank you Meek's for helping them earn the 2nd highest award a Girl Scout can earn. We have worked with Meeks and most all of the employees there for many years, multiple times, on various projects and they have always been extraordinarily helpful and friendly. We completely rebuilt our house after raising it up on stilts and building a second story underneath and Meek's was a big part of this project. They have also donated buckets to our Arrowhead 4H Club to be used as prizes at the Carson City fair (you can never have enough buckets when you work with animals). Thank you for all your help throughout the years!

I asked the yard Forman today if they had 2x4 and 2x6 Doug fir in stock and his response to me was he did not have a running inventory in his head...He was standing in front of the computer! I don't feel he is interested in serving my very small construction company, And is only motivated to service his large buyers. There inventory is also very lacking. Meeks was always a lumber and hardware store with great inventory, And now is very lacking as far as hardware. They are not the only show in town anymore and should start acting like it!

We knew what we wanted and had a few questions, which she easily answered. Once we told her we wanted to buy it she went straight to the back and got it for us along with the proper electrical plug we needed. She brought it out front to our truck and had a young man meet her out there to load it in the bed of the truck. So very easy. We brought it home and unpacked it from the box and it was in perfect condition and is running as I post this review. 3 stars for plumbing and electrical. We had a propane dryer prior to this but chose to put in electric. We had to do some work to the electrical box and wiring so we needed some conduit and supplies. It was difficult to find someone who knew about those departments. It took us twice as long to find what we needed than to buy a large appliance and get it loaded. 1 star for check out. It is ridiculous that we have to work at checking ourselves out and giving Lowe's are hard earned money while someone gets paid to stand their and watch us work. Not a fan.
