He told me the noise came from the dashboard (not) but also that he tightened the screws to the shield he put on over the catalytic converter. Hmm.... Huy then told me my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. Huy put in a new catalytic converter two years ago. I reminded him of this and did not get a response other than "it's bad." Catalytic converters should last 10+ years. Now I am driving around with my catalytic converter making a loud noise, feeling ripped off from this experience. I will not return or recommend this business after this experience.

We knew nothing about EV cars and Guillermo was patient, knowledgable about a wide range of EV…read morevehicles and really helpful in answering all of our questions about cars, charging, helping us understand the features and reviewing the Carfax report on our car. EV rides and Guillermo provided more options than expected to make sure that we got the right car for our family. Buying from EV Rides is very different from the dealer because they work closely with the specific types of cars that they sell; unlike a dealer whose main focus is to get all car modes within their brand out of the lot as soon as possible. As of 6 months, our car and battery is working well and has been driving great with no problems. We recommend EV Rides, especially to those who are buying their first older model EV with an upgraded battery for a fair price.

The low battery charge warning would come on and the car would go into "turtle mode". We contacted EV Rides, and they took the car to fix it, because it was still under the warranty. However, after a month they returned the car to us but the problem was not fixed and the same issue persisted. Now our car doesn't last over 25 to 30 miles without going to a low battery charge and turtle mode. EV Rides has ghosted us when we try to contact them! Thus BUYER BEWARE!!!!! EV Rides is definitely the place to NOT go if one is wanting a used electric vehicle (EV) that has been reinvigorated by the installation of a new battery. The 2013 Nissan Leaf that we purchased through EV Rides was great and a lot of fun to zip around town in, until this issue occurred with the battery.

He came out to my home, quickly diagnosed the issue, and replaced the serpentine belt right there in my driveway. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very straightforward about the repair. The whole experience was simple, affordable, and he had my vehicle running properly again in no time. It's hard to find an honest and reliable mobile mechanic, and I really appreciated how easy he made the process. Being able to have a mechanic come to your home instead of towing a vehicle to a shop is a huge help. If you're in the Vancouver area and need a trustworthy mobile mechanic, I highly recommend Odyssey Mobile Auto Repa

He diagnosed and explained the issue thoroughly so we scheduled a time for the very next day. He ordered and picked up the parts for me with no upcharges and fixed up my car right there in my driveway!! I had never used a mobile mechanic before, but now I'll never go back to another overpriced dealership or sketchy mechanic shop. He has set prices so I didn't have to worry about him running up the clock, and for what great work he does was surprisingly charging less for what I would have paid for a tow to a shop and the hourly rates. Amazing and honest mechanic would definitely recommend!!

In late April it became two to three times daily. Rather than return it to Les Schwab and be told for the fifth time that the battery was fine and that my car had Parasitic Battery Drain, I used Claude (AI) to research shops that specialized in automotive electronics in our area and was pointed to these people for their glowing reviews. The following day Terry assured me that the car had no parasitic drain and that the battery would not hold a charge. I highly reccomend this shop and the people who work there. They are honest and direct unlike Landmark Ford that assured me the cost to locate the faulty module causing parasitic drain could cost thousands of dollars and that my best bet would be to trade it in and cut my loss or the Westside Les Schwab that repeatedly assured me my battery was fine. A new AGM battery, required for the Escapes trim package, was installed and I've not had to use my jump box since. THANKS!

Flash Forward to a few weeks ago, I noticed some weird jolting when the car is shifting gears so I took my car in to Toyota, got an inspection and a transmission fluid change. They told me it was way under filled, the fluid was a dark black color. They told me whoever did the last service on my vehicle with the transmission underfilled it severely.
