This was a great experience! I asked for my tattoo, we worked out a design I love, and made an appointment. The environment was really chill and made sure I was informed every step of the way--from the pain scale of where I wanted it all the way to discussing how it would change as I aged. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the shop, was how clean it is! Hybiscus isn't just clean on the surface either; the tattoo and piercing stations are also very clean and sterile (not to mention well stocked). The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. The woman at the front desk, Janine, was very sweet and booked me promptly! They have a NEW piercer/tattooer (Sabastian) who is extremely professional! I received a double nostril piercing 3 weeks ago and it's healing beautifully already. I've received so many compliments on it; I highly recommend choosing Hybiscus! Went in today to get a piercing in my nostril by Sabastian. This was my second piercing for this nostril & the experience was superb! Sabastian was very nice, professional and considerate of how I wanted the piercing placed to align with the one I already had. It was super convenient to book with him through the website too. If I could give negative stars I would. The dude who owns the shop was talking to me on the phone, totally trashed my idea the I had, even though it had special meaning to me. He literally asked if it was my first tattoo, when I have enough tattoos that I'd have to stop writing this review to count them all. Also said he didn't want to hurt his reputation by doing it. I went to another shop, they understood exactly what I was talking about right away and was even excited to do it. Turned out great at the other shop. Would not recommend this place. read more

I went in to hybiscus tattoo and piercing and had one of the best experiences in my life. Nic is one of the greatest piercers and not only did he do a great job, but he made me feel very comfortable safe while having a good time! He let me check out the placement of the piercing multiple times and when I asked him to change it he was very nice and understood that if I was getting this piercing I was going to get what I wanted! Honestly went and the owner ruined my whole tattoo made me regret getting it there saying he didn't wanna ruin his reputation well he did because I regret getting my tattoo there honestly if I knew he was going to go off his mind I would've just gone to another and better tattoo artist to do my idea because it's my body and my mind not his he's not the one that's gonna have the tattoo I am not him I don't care about his reputation I care about mine not his I could give a damn about his I would give this place a full on negative 5 if I could I wouldn't recommend going to the owner because he will only go off his "creation" not your own creation or how you wanted it. I honestly regarding getting my tattoo there makes me despise that place and the owner! Because I hate how my tattoo came out! Like gosh it's my tattoo not his it's not gonna be on his body it's going to be on mine!!
